Good episode...inch by inch atleast it feels like regular NBT episodes even if the shaadi track is now imminent.

I missed the first scene...wasn't available in the vid I watched but got the gist from Pooja's update...so Megha pulled the Indu card...lol...ok chalo hopefully she now atleast picks ONE reason and STICKS to it...I can deal better then.

Bits I liked today:

1) Mohan's "Dr. LATPATIYA ko phone kar"🤣...when Mummyji calls him MOHAN instead of Monu...lol...loved this bit...again that flavor of vintage NBT here...the cynical Mohan back...Guru in the background fiddling with the TV...and Mohan's typical banter with Mummy...before the whole shaadi topic is brought up ofcourse.

I liked that they atleast showed Mohan pondering a bit...He's hurt after being rejected by Megha a zillion times over despite trying to reason with her...so he wants to move on and not dwell on the Megha issue continuously although obviously neither him or Megha are being very successful at it...full epi was devoted to their unsuccessful attempts and angst only...lol

So yes, Mohan sees the "happy family" picture that Manav-Megha make on the terrace and it spurs him on to say yes.

2) Mohan-Megha bits at PL...when I first saw Megha put those wet papers on his desk, I just went awww in nostalgia...lol...kahaan she did it to extract revenge from him last time...this time she did it HAQ se...lol...subconscious haq though...since Megha ko pata hai naa kaunsa haq all along it was😆

They sympathy points are being racked up for Megha now by showing Mohan finally treating her like crap😆...the way he flings the papers off his table...and Megha basically is more vulnerable than ever after managing her final "act" so to speak on the terrace telling him why she can never think of spending her life with him...so now she's saying sorry in soft, guilty tones to him...is stealing looks at him every moment she can while he gives her the cold shoulder...

I do feel bad for both of them though...the angst is being shown better now atleast...like the moment when Megha hears about his rishta and all...Aakanksha is back in form along with the show it seems...lol...lovely acting from her there...Megha's without fathom decisions aside, the small smile she attempted there in "congratulation" to Mohan which ofcourse he doesn't really acknowledge did make me feel bad for her.

3) THE song is back😆...What a role reversal though...for a change Megha's the one giving him such MAJOR yearning filled looks😆...and Mohan is all in aloof khafaa hero mode trying his best to steel himself from showing any emotion around her and NOT look at her...although he fails intermittently...but manages to hold on to his resolve for the most part😆

Mohan for his part is not really trying to SHOW her that LOOK I can get married too...is he?😆...he seems to be pretty matter of fact about this even if he's not happy about it...like even when the girl showed up...he treated her politely and while not happy about the whole setup, went through with it honestly enough...did he pass a comment in b/w ki kya pata us balcony pe ek din hum dono baith ke chai peeyein? WOW Mohan😆...

4) Jeeji and Nanhi showing up to sabotage the rishta😆...Jeeji toh is so AWESOME...love Madhuri ji's acting...I was reminded of the hilarious Rashmi coffee date episode😆...and loved the way Nanhi went and deliberately wiggled in b/w Mohan and that girl😆...and put on her best impression of annoying whiny kid 😆...Her "isse zyada kya ghar dikhaaoge...itna hi toh hai" comment...LOVED it😆...Mohan's, "Dekh chavanni, mera dimaag mat kharaab kar apni mummy ki tarhaan"😆...Nanhi's skeptical "Oh no you don't" look when he tells her he knows what he's doing...

The end with more of jealous Mohan, uncomfortable Megha and beech mein phase two third wheels...lol...My fav. bit though was Mohan describing how he gets his entertainment from looking out from his balcony at all the cartoons in the gali😆...the random Mohan-isms really keep this show alive.

Anywhoo...so looks like shaadi pucci by Monday...and then begin the preps? lol...lagta hai mandap drama is deffo guaranteed...let's see how that goes...for now, two epis with more of the NBT flavor back...was good to see.

And I just saw the new Bemisaal Band Baaja baraat budhwaar promo...lol what on earth is JAYASURIYA going to do in NBT? Play cricket with Mohan? Come and give shaadi advice to MM? 😆...Man, these gimmicks *sigh*...they usually never bode well for the show...but oh well...good epi today.

but no way the girl goes to the boy's house...in our custom it is just that the girl is not supposed see her sasural before marriage...of course this rule fits in if it is negotiation marriage like mohan-riddhima...
of course in our custom if they want the boy and girl can meet outside in some restaurant or elsewhere to be alone...

so the question is was it logical to show that riddhima came along with her parents to see mohan in his own house...pls someone clarify this...
