Wokay - onto Thursday (totally shuttling between school work and this, so whatever seems/sounds without fathom/overthought - you can guess what to blame it on. I used to be a simple innocent child before school and coffee happened to me, honest!)

So if Nur's post itself was anything to go by, everyone obviously loved Mohan khaaing bhaav over Megha 😆 No complains - like oh so long in the making and overdue! About time I say 😆 I wont really launch into HOW much FUN watching Mohan having this upper hand was like - at least I'll try not to - but touch upon the couple things that stood out for me otherwise.
Starting with Megha's silent monologue at Mohan's "samaaj seva" jab! I remember the time not so long ago when most of us were (not favorably) anticipating the whole mahaan and ehsaan angle. It's come to us in counter redemption more than once now, and yesterday, when Megha thought to herself about how she knew exactly what all Mohan had done for her, and what she had given him in return ... I was reminded of Mohan's dialogue to Megha back in the engagement confrontation where Mohan tells her toh kya tumare sab ehsaano ke badle jaakar usko keh doon ki usse pyaar karta hu? jabki woh tak jaanti hai ye sach nahi hai! - And I just thought, not for the first time, how wonderful it is that this show treats Megha as an individual before all else (as Nur once said) and how the bond between MM at NO point, mutually and equally speaking, ever really takes on the ehsaan like flavor. But focusing on Megha, the individual... Yes, it is the Amar name she holds onto as a veil and a shield - but it could very easily be the Amar name and the whole ehsaan weighing her down MUCH more to be obligated to Mohan in greater courtesy!
For that one reason, I LOVE that Megha has been ridiculous with Mohan in way she could be only if at some level she truly perceived Mohan's coming to rescue each time as no obligation, but as something she latches onto in an intuitive sense of haq or right! The way she would just go out there and stand up for him, out of nothing but the compulsion she would feel to be there for him - is the way Mohan stands up for her, and the way she unassumingly accepts it! Because if even for a moment, Mohan's great favor weighed with her as ANYTHING remotely that she owed him back - Megha as she is, would have reflexively shown more formality and restrain - NO MATTER WHAT!
I'm not justifying her blinders or ducking the truth tantrums, much less endorsing them - but I'm saying only that Megha is unreasonable with Mohan in a way that one can be/tends to be/ever is ONLY with someone we intuitively exert our rights over! The way Mohan can throw his weight around on Guru, lash at him everytime he himself is pushed over the edge, and Guru WILL understand better than to take offense! Megha's "unreasonable" is not merely what it seems - an annoying sense of evading the obvious - but a subconscious sense of extending her haq! With Mohan, the inhibitions or courtesy just DO NOT exist! And so, interestingly, with all the ado that has passed between them, Megha still dwells onto going back to what was. Holds guilt of a different kind at her own misconduct - not the kind she would in having offended someone she owed but the kind she has from hurting someone her own... hurting someone, whose hurt rebounds back at her no less!
Also, like you said in your post Nur - put Megha in a spot where she thinks she has no options and she will truly surprise you with her Mohan like cut throat approach 😆 It's pretty interesting how the paradox of her perpetual dillydallying and sidetracking of matters is coupled with this other side of her, that just goes BAM! 😆 No beating around the bush - JUST like Mohan! Yes, she stops short, TWICE, in filling the most significant blank of the moment - but well... Mohan had his moments in the past too... getting where he is right now. Megha is taking her time, with let's not forget, much greater make believe counter conviction.
Anyway - so the whole MM total twist situation (spoken Mohan style from when he ties Addu's laces 😆) played out really fun!
I want to add what a self contradiction Megha is on yet another account of her reaction. From the scene in the corridor, when Mohan retorts with dost nahin hu, hamdard nahin hu - her own words at her, Megha gives him that look which almost rolls eyes at him, at the fact that he'd hold onto that kinda secondary stuff when she has MORE important stuff to talk about right now, like that he should not be doing his work 😆 She literally has that grown up air about her, in a strange way like that of Nanhi from the kada scene, where she would almost be mentally wondering why he was being such a kid to not put aside personal differences and listen to her "sensible mature advice" 😆 And interesting it is then, for Megha who told him in ALL supposed finality and gravity how there was NO place for him, and nothing that he was to her - for that same woman to now treat that then seriously stamped conclusion as dismissive and secondary to the fact that she OBVIOUSLY still will look out for him - and that HE should grow up and understand that it is normal for people to "not care" but "care like crazy" anyway! 😆 She literally wants DUMP all that concern on him, while still keeping up the play-act that they don't really "mean anything" to each other 😆 And then, treats HIS persistence as almost some childish obstinacy in the face of a greater situation! Honestly Nanhi has lesser misconceptions about her own samajhdaari, than Mommy Megha 😆
And if only Megha's concern at ANY level was simply platonic - it might just stand for her claim. She won't see it - conveniently as ever - but the difference of her overreaction as compared with Dimpy and Prerna should OBVIOUSLY make her question some basics. That the normalcy from Prerna and Dimpy do not make Megha think about her own pronounced over reaction, for being just a friend - aaj kal toh woh bi suspended status hai now that Mohan ji himself has renounced that lesser claim 😆 - should stand out even to herself. But one track as Megha's mind is right now, all she can think of is Mohan going into the lion's lair! That Prerna and Dimpy talk realistic about Mohan not chasing goons for the first time is obviously failed logic on her 😆 It doesn't help that the office people make light and filled with pride conversation about Mohan Bhatnagar ke bahaadur kisse! 😆
And it doesn't help that the probability of Mohan in danger clears Megha's head of ALL periphery thoughts! So when Prerna makes a likely guess that she would want to talk about Amar, Megha doesn't even get SECOND thoughts about HOW driven she is for Mohan's safekeeping in that moment - Oh Megha!!! 😆
MG-Mummy scene - Aww, precious miyaan biwi moments! 🤣 Mohan doesn't shirk ONE chance to take a "biwi" shot at Guru 😆 And Guru PROUDLY wears the badge - flinch tak ni karta at the perpetual jest 😆 Guru the ever knowing observing Mohan's "danger at works" devices being packed, then easily guessing that Megha would have tried stopping him too! Guru dev, aap bi ek hi piece hain 😆 The most interesting part being Mohan's BINDAAS-ly hopeful claim about how his daredevil project could get Megha to finally realize and confess - haha, Monu baba, you totally don't take a no, do you?! 😆 And not surprisingly, from gussa day's uske he has gone to unke 😆 Bande ki fluctuation with tehzeeb is ceaseless 😆
Meg-Guru phone call - LOLLL @ Guru calling her Raju bhai - that's the mohalla MC guy, haina?! 😆 I also randomly love how Guru, JUST LIKE MOHAN, totally takes Indu's constant check-notes for a ride 😆 Ek kaan se daalte bi ni yeh dono, ke nikaalne ka kasht kaun kare after 😆 And Guru totally haath jhaading himself off any liability to stop Mohan bhaiya, and dumping it on Megha 😛 Megha further wondering if Mohan has jumped the gun to actually get her to speak up? - WORD to what you said Nur, about how she doesn't even realize, the ways and means in which she unassumingly owns up the existence of something to confess up!
@random Mohan-giri - Even while giving ALL the attitude to Megha that she well deserves, Mohan's spirit is totally on the rise, readying to soar! The win-win look he shoots her on accepting the project. No, I don't think he takes up the project just to make his point - but yes, it does start feature as part from right here. Then the way he blows pointed offended indifference at Megha, but shoots SUCH a random "love you" at his mother after literally losing chain of the conversation in the whole move and avoid gameplay on the otherside - hahaha! Mohan is totally sensing the hope here! Again, he isn't really making her chase him, but that she is - obviously registers for its OBVIOUS meaning! For all his pointed avoidance, and then the yeh yeh whatever face when she's pulling off a typical Megha on him - Mohan already finds the scale of odds tilting surprisingly fast in his favor 😆 And he wont show her - on his face - but the confidence with which he YET again just throws the whole "haq" thing at her, is EVIDENCE of how much he gained in terms of further resolve in just those moments of Megha's chase - from the morning when he was weighing the risk of getting that letter back vs an unwanted run into Megha, to now, when he knows his clear upper hand! He's done being patiently reasonable with her of course - for now - so he's going to say what he said last Friday in the more characteristic Mohan style; which obviously doesn't help Megha's case that much - but Megha has a lover like Mohan for a reason 😆 Either of them - atak gayi, toh bas atak gayi 😆
Overall, some priceless Mohan tops Megha moments which were fultoo entertaining. Not half of what I can say for Friday... I feel like I had more thoughts on my mind when I set off to write this comment hours ago, but I just lost the flow with the number of breaks I took! I'll probably keep returning when I remember... 😛
