There is this child in our apts who is very violent and the parents are kinda touch me not....so I ask my children to just be friends with him not to get into any fights.BUT my daughter is a shaitaan personified......so they keep having some or the other tiffs which i feel is common for the children of their age(6-7 yrs)..But aaj tho hadh hogayi.. this boy -for whatever the reason - put his leg in the way when my daughter was walking to her seat in the bus..so she fell down and hurt herself......

I spoke to the boy- bade hi pyar se.-(I did not want to Invoke the wrath of the parent)asking him -and my daughter too-,to play , fight and have fun but see that no one gets hurt ....

this guy went and complained to his mom ..phir kya... bada sa yudh pe uthar aayi woh......she was not willing to reason at all ........

My BP sky rocketed at first ...then I felt sad for her couz she was looking so frustrated ........

itna bad scene create kiya ki I was wondering if I did something wrong in counselling the children..and That i should have kept quite and say "peet le beta..... Peet..."

shilpa and sheetal-there is a kid in our apartment too like that and whose mother is a single parent on top it all is such an arrogant lady.whenever there are fights with that kid,all of us in our apt stay away from tho mother-daughter duo for sometime.after that they come back to us as though nothing has happened and we also go back to our normal state.shilpa u did the right thing by telling that kid that he is wrong.if his mother comes and fights put across to her that her son was wrong,nothing wrong in it.my policy is to stay away friom kid's fight until it is not physical or dangerous.in our apartment we mothers tell each other that we will not interfere if the other has told our children of the wrong doing. shilpa.nowadays we should not only teach our kids to respect their elders but also that they should stand up for themselves if they are right.

I tried to tell her that I am not against the tiff but it should be within safety limits..bandi sunne ko thayar nahin thi..she said that her son never beats..tho U should have seen the expression on my daughters face.. she got so confused and she asks me -why is aunty telling a lie .

Nah Shilpa you did right. Sometimes we have to be a bit stern though people don't like it much.
