RULES
Now I'm not going to write long paragraphs about what you should and shouldn't do here because let's face it, who has the time or the inclination to read through such things? When I was a regular member I was not very fond of those rules posts that seemed to go on forever, so I'm not gonna put you folks through the same. LOL!
For starters, if you haven't read IF's COC yet then here you go:
https://india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4420Here are a few informal tips and guidelines from my side that I think will save you
and me a lot of time/energy in the long run: 😛
1) As long as you stick to the
characters and avoid picking on each other, things would go pretty smoothly around here.
2) They say that ignorance is bliss. And trust me, on India Forums it really is! If you come across a post that hurts your sentiments because someone is fiercely criticizing your favourite character/couple, just ignore it. Yes, their words might upset you. And yes, it might make you want to crash that post with your defensive remarks. But really, are fictitious characters honestly worth arguing all day long with faceless strangers who are sitting miles away from you? Why give their opinions so much importance? Think about it! 😊
3) Please don't purposely rain on someone's parade. For instance if you see a thread where people are gushing endlessly over an actor whom
you find nothing but mediocre, refrain yourself from going in there and spamming it with senseless derogatory remarks. Why bother riling up a section of fans just for the heck of it? Trolling is
so not cool, man.
4) I'd appreciate you not making a career out of hitting the report button. A lot of reported posts often turn out to be harmless and that causes unnecessary hassle for the Viewbies/Mods. As a Viewbie I don't mind sorting out a mess or helping people resolve their differences but when you report posts, do consider objectively whether or not the content is really worth reporting.
5) Respect everyone's opinion but don't be afraid to voice yours. You're entitled to express your views whether they are positive or negative.
6) Most importantly, keep in mind that at the end of the day we're all here to have fun. Don't take things too seriously!
If you've got any questions/suggestions/complaints, feel free to PM me.
Happy posting! 😃
