And just as a reminder, people have asked me through PM...but once a contestant is eliminated, he will NOT return, so no Wild Card can save them. Because really, any one who gets eliminated we understand is really good.

2nd tie in show history...last time it happened was between Sunidhi and Alka in Round 5 (Round before the Finals). I let them both go to the Finals...


but that will not happen this time (or this show will never end and it will be unfair for the other contestants)

So here is what will happen now. This is most fair for everyone, all the safe for sure contestants, the ones almost eliminated, and for the show to go on at its pace and schedule.


Round 2, all 6 singers will once again be present!

However...Shankar or K.K. must be eliminated. Whoever has a lower score among the 2, will be automatically out. After that, since there is now 5 left, the lowest score out of those 5 will be eliminated.

why this way???

1. Shankar & K.K. are happy because they get another chance to sing despite having lowest scores.

2. The other 4 contestants are happy, because they are now insured that K.K. or Shankar will be eliminated next Round and can play Round 2 as if one of them is already eliminated since that is essentially how they will be compared.

3. The show continues at its pace because after Round 2, 2 singers should be eliminated.



Works out for everyone!!!




Note: So notice, that Shankar & K.K. can have the 2 highest scores next round, but one of them will have to leave. And if they havae the 2 lowest again, both will be gone based on format above.
