Why these singers rule the industry?

We say Sonu, Sukhwinder the top singers are ruling the industry.

Sonu is ruling cause he puts a special feel in the song and even when he is singing and dancing the sur still stays. I think Rahul kind of sings like Sonu, I would say the closest person to sing like Sonu is Rahul but still Sonu is Sonu and he is the best.
Sukhwinder is also ruling cause he has a really different style of singing and I think he can sing really high with correct sur. I think Raja can sing like him.
Not to forget Shaan is also ruling the industry!

Sonu is staying In LA these days and cut down lot of work and mainly working on international collaboration..

Sonu Nigam was asked this question by famous writer and journalist Kavita Chhibber. This was his reply:
"Nowadays there is an increasing trend of trying to avoid the existing voices and experimenting more with new untrained voices. Music director's sometimes say it openly that we don't need a trained singer. They give work to singers who have a certain quirk in their voice. They don't take the trained Indian Idol or the SaReGaMa singers. Unko lagta hain ki agar thoda awaaz mein agar khraash ka element ho ya naak ka element ho, ya thoda sa alag element ho which sounds a bit crazy, then there is a tendency to make that voice work. Especially in the past one year people have been looking for odd sounding voices. And there is no harm to it because sometimes these odd sounding voice give the song a different structure and a unique identity."
This is why the song 'Soniyo' was recorded by 9 different singers before finally being finalized in the voice of Sonu Nigam. The producer and director of Raaz 2 had told the music composer Raju Singh to try a new voice for 'Soniyo' but no one was happy with the experimented voices. So finally Sonu Nigam was roped in for the song.

I love this song too. Sajid Wajid really saved their best compositions for Veer. Unfortunately the film didn't do well otherwise the music would have got a big boost.

Well you can not compare Beyonce and Lady Gaga with AR Rahman. Woh log English mein gaane gaate hain aur hum log Hindi mein. English is a universally accepted language.
But at least we should respect Rahman and Sonu Nigam who are taking India to international stage. Sonu Nigam was invited by Grammy award winner Chaka Khan to make music in America. That's why he was in LA.
