Shaans medley was way better than Mikas. Not to mention the individual singer performances. So how does Mika win?

Why do they even have the farce of audience voting when its obviously manipulated by the show?!!!

I feel bad for Shaans team . They deserved to win. It wasn't even a close match.

shaans strikers sung way better than mika's team. just bcoz mika threatened to leave the music industry so the show got very apprehensive and deliberately made it a tie so that no sentiments got hurt. otherwise shaan's team was better no doubt

To get a break luck is must I agree but I dont agree that without talent one can be successfull in bollywood.May be by luck and connections he will get 1-2 songs but finally it is the public who hear them and if they like their songs will earn them more work.

As we know these shows are scripted to the end and with a dearth of talented singers they have to project whatever singers are there in the contest as of high quality with comments like Tumne original se acha gaya and you are one of the top singers in the country.

From these shows we want a singer to be successfull in bollywood and not only regional success.Yes many like Hemchandra are doing very well in their region but most finally end up doing stageshows and singing in marraige functions.

Offcourse these shows make a singer popular and with stage shows and participation in regional events he prospers financially but this popularity has to be maintained otherwise it will not last long.

I don't agree at all. Bollywood success is not the yardstick for tryue succcess in singing or acting at all.

There are many talented people in India and they all may not get oppurtunities.

How would you explain an actress like Katrina, who can't even act or speak Hindi, doing well? I mean just because she is lucky to be with some directors hwo amke those formula films and taht too hit ones? For me, Vidya Balan or Kajola re afr better than Katrina any day, and Katrina is here for Salman everyone knows that.

So this is Bollywood and singing is still better than acting, but connections and popularity work here a lot and sometimes singers can also be VERY GOOD like Shreya but I am sure luck or destiny isa big factor, then cheap politics anfd connections, then talent.

For me the talent i have heard in some reality shows is better than playback singers like Neeraj Shridhar, Aatif Aslam, alisha chinoi etc. But these people are getting more playback than say Nihira Joshi or Amey Date or little genius Anwesha.

So it is defnibtely not the yradstick for talent. Even Aksjay kumar has said that there are many better looking people and more talneted than him, but they didn't have the right oppurtunities maybe.

Doing stage shows and singing in marraiges is not called success.

you are saying as if Raja is some big bollywood singer. I love Raja's singing but he has only 1 hit song on his resume and that was his debut song Maari Teetri.

Since then he hasn't really sung that many bollywood songs. The ones that he did are no where as big as his debut song. Not even close. Although he has definitely sung lots of songs for small regional films, which is great but once again nothing to brag about.

Of all the reality show singers Toshi and Sharib are the most successful. Toshi has 1 super hit song to his credit and has sung lots of other popular songs though no where as big as Maahi Vey. His brother Sharib does the composing and is pretty successful.

Sorry I have not mentioned Raja anywhere here. It is a general discussion.I have not mentioned even a single name.
