Just watched the episode. My opinion is that though could have quit the show in a more dignified manner. I could see his frustration. It was that visible. And that was justifiable. He is a good singer. He asked for clarification on why was he graded lower and all he got in reply was watch ur performance on TV. A judge should explain what was lacking and how they graded the student. If for nothing, then atleast so that the participant can improve. If the judge can't explain why then there is a problem.

beating other judges in reality show doesn't prove that Himmy is a saint and a better singer than others...Himmy has always been overdramatic on things, amplified the contestants personal problems to get sympathy votes, argued like a kid with other judges to prove his point eventually the other judges giving it up cos they didn't want to look like a stubborn 5 year...Himesh has used politics and maipulations in winning shows...He is a good music director...singer I don't think so...But in no way he is a maha judge...A judges is unbias which Himmy is NOT...

Just wanted to say, you can have your opinion of his singing, but he is recognized as one of the best singers in bollywood. He's won playback singer of the year, from Filmfare, IIFA, Zee TV, the list goes on. And if you can win that award, and beat everybody in bollywood for it, you are good. No matter if you think so or not, he is good. It's like saying "I don't think SRK is a good actor". Great, thanks for your opinion. It just doesn't hold anywhere else.

Yeah that is my opinion, thanks for saying that otherwise I wouldn't have realized it...and it does hold there where others don't take him as a good singer...He has his golden days and has good music which was a hit but that doesn't put him in the same category of singing like Sonu or Shankar...that guy can sing little but so can many...

He's right there with Sonu and Shankar. I'd still put them a little bit higher, but the difference isn't great Go down the list of people to win playback singer of the year, and you will see its an elite list.

Here is Filmfare's playback singer of the year for the past decade:

2009: Sukhwinder Singh
2008: Shaan
2007: Shaan
2006: Himesh
2005: Kunal
2004: Sonu
2003: Sonu
2002: Udit

I could go on, but you have to realize that Himesh is on an elite list of singers. No you don't think so, but the facts, accomplishments, and worldwide recognition sure thinks so. And that can't be debated.


Like I said, it's the equivalent of saying "Aamir Khan is not a good actor". Nice to hear your opinion, but the truth is something else.

Filmfare...aren't these awards not attended by Aamir Khan, cos they are pre decided or rather sold out...yeah right..we believe in such awards...Aamir acc to me is one of the most talented actor, you don't have to reiterate that...Himesh according to me is not a good singer...you can pull out your stack of awards but my opinion stands the same...not a good singer, a bias judge and ya not a good judge for reality shows...Ciao...
