Indian cinema's most prolific lyricist Sameer is enjoying a good time. And right now he is anxious about 'Salaam-E-Ishq' the soundtrack for which he has done the lyrics. Sammer's hand is full penning lyrics for the big arrivals in the forthcoming months. There is a line up of release which reads Vikram Bhatt's 'Red', Abbas Mustan's 'Naqab' and 'Race', Himesh Reshammiya's 'Aap Ka Suroor', Satish Kaushik's' Tere Sang,' Anant Mahadevan's 'Anamika' and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Saawariya'. Not only this, he is also recording two private albums and one of them is with Adnan Sami. With so much work does this leave him with some competition with Javed Akhtar and Gulzar? "They're father figures for me. I respect their work. It's a wrong perception that we're not on good terms. Whenever we meet at parties, we give each other a warm hug. You don't do that to people you don't like. When I'm their age, I will probably be respected as much as them." He also points that his biography is a kind of eye opener for young writers to find work in movie town cautions them about the ways of show business. He forms a formidable hit pair with Himesh Reshammiya. The pair has been going from strength to strength. Are any new projects on hold? "We have planned something out of the world for his acting debut.

it was released on 12th Jan - thursday !!!!!!!!!!!
it wasn't released on 13th jan , friday - coz 13th the friday is said to be a ill omen day !!!!! 😉
