Heya Jem didi😃 I have a few friends that play the piano, and i noticed that when they play, they mess around with some kind of "pedals" near their feet (im clueless...sorry 😕)...here's a pic 😃
...what is that called and what does it do? 😳
Thanks,🤗
Himani
Hey sis sorry I forgot to answer this qu 😳
Well there are 3 pedals - one is called "una corda" its Italian & its literal translation means one chord. The pedal on the far right allows you to sustain the notes e.g. play them longer than needed, the 2nd one allows you to play in silent mode - so that no one else can hear you. - I have not had to use pedals much so am beginning to learn about them myself more now as I am progressing the grades 😳
ha aa gaya .. :😉

ooohh...so when you first start playing the piano...you don't use the pedals at all? and when you say "no one else can hear you", you mean it plays V.v. softly? oo and thanks for answering😳
