I totally agree with you. He has not backbone as a husband and is such a typical indian Mama's boy. Any girl who had left her home for her love of her life would want that love to support her but instead of doing that, he is dancing on his mom's tune. He wants her to change according to his mom and make her into rest of them. In other words, he also wants to strip her of her personality and change her into a new person! How is that fair? If he had so many problems, he should never married her. and the whole staying away from Lovely till his mom accepts her is total nuts. I have never heard of such a thing in my life. That is purely selfish because there are two people in a marriage so he is unnecessarily punishing lovely as well.

What lovely did today to help Simran was not neccessary...Asking a friend to steal a purse and making Simran catch him was stupid...She could have been in big trouble if police were called and friend would spill the beans that Lovely asked him to act as a thief..

Besides that she got lat to school to pick up kids...She keep making stupid decisions...She can;t change the world..She must change her self to be more mature...Than she can bring change in Kaushik household..

Pehle apna dhyan rakho phir sabki chinta karo..

no one is looking how best is simran as police officer.they should support her to rejoin police as soon as possible.

instead all are asking her stay in home and please maasa.

again lovelys intentions are right.but again her chosen method is wrong.

but when she is out to help others,she dose not think for consequences.that itself lands her in to trouble.

she might not like household work.her nature is more like doing social work.

so she may be made for political life-not to be housewife.

I find the whole premise of this serial very disturbing. Karthik and Lovely are so ill matched; the MIL is so disposed to see the worst in Lovely that she doesn't want anyone in the family to form a bond with the girl; Lovely is more concerned with Karthik not being mad than anything else; Karthik is completely cowed by his mother and by the mysterious women's rules of the house--really, the two seem to bring out the worst in each other, and I don't think their characters have been well developed enough for me to sympathize with either of them. I feel like I know the other bahus better.

Just my two cents.:)

the basic plot of this serial itself is-- lovely being imperfect and jhooti but good in heart..

loveely don't have any qualities which maasa wants.
and how with her childishness and innocence will win over maasa heart will be the crux of story.

other bahus are perfect and ideal bahus-
but lovely is imperfect and not aadarsh naari.

she does not need sympathy.and she will not do anything to win that sympathy also.

in real life to nobody is perfect and ideal.

so lovely character is quite close to real life girl.
i simply love this imperfect character.

she is not ideal bahus like mona of rmj,arachana of pavitra rishta or abha of ymgk.

she is lovely-non ideal bahu of mrs.kaushik.
