FIRST SCENE

V- ke keh rahi hai bawri, tu pagla to naa gai! Tanne pata hai tu mere liye Kya hai mere bachchon ke liye Kya hai! Mein tereko ek pal naa dekhun manne lage hai mera saans ghut raha hai mein tarhapne lagta hun aur tu manne chodh ke Jane ki baat ker rahi hai aur woh bhi itni aasaani se!! Naaaa mein yeh naa ker paunga naa hone bhi doonga!

P- (thinking - I have to make mukhiji believe that this is the best way, I’ll have to hurt him and will have to make him believe that I don’t have any such feelings for him and that sakshiji loves him so much and they’d be happy together, and that’s what is best for the kids too) mukhiji aap jaante hain hamari shaadi hum dono ki marzi ke bagair hui thi! Aap humse pyaar nahin karte the aur naa hi hamne aapko us nazar se dekha. Haan sakshiji ke yahan naa hone se appko hamari aadat ho gai thi lekin woh pyaar nahin hai. Sakshiji ne bhi kaha ki hamein hamari umar ke ladke ke saath jeevan beetana chahiye. Hum bhi ab yehi chahte hain ki yeh zabardasti ka rishta yahin khatam ho jaaye (turns her face away from mukhiji and has tears in her eyes)

V - (shocked) bawri yeh kya keh rahi hai tu! Tu meri aadat naa hai tu meri zindagi hai mera pyaar hai! Sakshi se meri shaadi maa or MS ne ki thi, use maine apna naseeb maan ker zindagi mein jagah di thi! Lekin pyaar kya hove hai yeh mujhe tane sikhaya tune bataya ki apnon ko kaise sambhalte hain, kaise kai baar unki galtiyon ko maaf kar ke unhein zindagi mein sahi rah dikhaani hoti hai! Mein kuch nahin jaanta tu yeh kyon keh rahi hai lekin mein tere bina naa ji paaunga. Yo mujhse naa hoga. Aur mein yeh nahin maan sakta ki tu manne pyaar nahin karti

P- nahin karte mukhiji hum aapki dil se izzat karte hain, aapne hamare liye bahut kuch kiya hai uske liye aapke ehsaanmand bhi hain lekin pyaar hum aapse pyaar nahin karte

V - tu kehna ke chahti hai ki mere pass hone se, ya mujhe dekh ker yaa agar mein parshaan hun to tane koi farak naa padhe hai?

P - nahin koi farak nahin padhta hamein, kaha naa hum apse pyaar nahin karte hum sirf aapki izzat karte hain, pyaar sirf apni umar ke logon ke saath hi kiya haa sakta hai (purvi hit him where she knew would hurt him the most)

V (getting angry) to theek hai! Tanne koi farak naa padhe hai - Aaj yeh Mukhi Virendra Pratap Singh tujhse waada kerta hai ki mein khud thaare liye TERI UMAR ka ladka dekh ker teri shaadi mein KHUD kerwaaunga.... and he walks away leaving purvi shocked and in tears

SECOND SCENE

Virendra comes home and calls all family members.

All come except kids

He announces he spoke to Purvis parents and have found a guy for Purvi and we should all start preparing for the wedding once Purvi approves of the guy. Pranjakshi are elated and cant stop smiling and ask Vir who is the guy! Purvi is sad.

Vir says he was someone Purvi knew and liked before she was forced to be his Molkki and calls Vipul. Purvi is shocked! He says Purvi was supposed to get married to Vipul but some misunderstandings happened and her first love remained unfulfilled, Vipul told me everything! Purvi is shocked and mad at Vipul. Vir says the wedding will be finalized soon and till then Vipul will stay here only and so that he and Purvi can spend some time together and restart from where they left off!

everybody leaves purvi give Vipul a hard stare! And tells him to come with her as she has to talk to him

P - yeh kya bakwaas hai!! Humne kab kaha tumse ki hum tumse kabhi pyaar karte the!! Hum sirf tumhein ek achcha dost samajhte the usse zyaada kabhi kuch nahin! Tumhari himmat kaise hui hamare baare mein mukhiji se yeh sab jhooth bolne ki! Woh hamare baare mein kya sochte honge!

Vip - arrey yaar chodho usse, kya farak padhta hai ki woh tumhare baare mein kya sochega!! Budhau kahin kaa, per jo bhi hai usne yeh faisla bilkul sahi liya

P - tumhari himmat kaise hui mujhiji ke baare mein itni badtameezi se baat karne ki! Yeh kya tareekha hai! Zaban sambhaal ke baat karo verna hum abhi tumhein is ghar se dhake marwake niklwa denge!

Vip - achcha sorry sorry sorry mujhe aise bahin baat karni chahiye thi unke baare mein. Badhe boodhe hain woh hamare aur mukhiji bhi. Galti ho gai. Sorry. Jo bhi ho meon bahut khush hoon ki tum aur mein fir se ek ho jaayenge, mein tumhein ab bhi bahut pyaar karta hun purvi. He walks towards her and tries to touch her hand. Purvi moves back and gives him a stern look and walks away

all this while Vir was looking at them and he heard everything

Purvi thinking - mukhiji hamare baare mein kya sochte honge. Humein unhe batana hi hoga ki humne kabhi Vipul se pyaar nahin kiya woh sirf hamare bachpan ka ek achcha dost tha aur kuch nahin.

She runs towards Virs room only to not find him there she looks for him everywhere but couldnt find him anywhere. Then she thinks whenever he is upset he goes to the terrace and goes towards the terrace and ofcouse he is there. A small smile comes on Purvis face seeing his bold silhouette against the moonlight. She runs towards him only to stop at a distance and says mukhiji woh hamein aapse baat karni thi.

V - kya baat karni thi tanne baw...Purvi.

Purvi is stunned she felt as if somebody stabbed her heart, mukhiji called her Purvi which was so impersonal and so not full of love.

She says - hamein kehna tha ki hamare aur Vipul ke beech mein aissa kich bhi naa tha woh jo keh raha hai woh sab jhooth...

mukhi raises his hand motioning her to stop talking. He says - manne nahin jaannna ki tum dono ke beech mein kya tha aur ab kya hai maine terese waada kiya tha ki mein teri shaadi TERI UMAR ke ladke se kerwaunga so mein wohi ker raha hun. Isse zyada mujhe kuch farak nahin padhta.

Saying that he walks away leaving Purvi shocked, sad and heart broken. She couldnt stop her tears from flowing and walks away with her head down.....

She couldnt believe that her mukhiji caller her Purvi and said he doesnt care...she wanted him to question her, wanted him to be mad at her, she wanted him to have punched that Vipul in the face for lying but nothing like that happened! Why is she so disturbed that Mukhiji is letting her go so easily, isnt that what she wanted! Why is she so upset that he is not holding her, or seeing her or calling her the way he used to! She goes to her room and cries her heart out thinking of the changing scenario.....this is not what she wanted!

Wedding date has been finalized to 7 days from now

Everybody is busy doing preparations for the wedding, Purvi hasnt seen mukhiji since past 3 days now, he is off to Delhi for some work. She is so restless and hasnt slept a wink. She hasnt eaten and feels as if she is going to die if she doesnt sees him again soon. Everybody has gone out to do shopping while she is at home with kids. Restless and awake. She hears a car stop and runs towards the door knowing mukhiji has arrived. She see him getting down from the car. But wait what is this why are the two servants holding him. He is drunk? Whats wrong with him.

He is drunk but tells servants he is not that drunk and can walk by himself. He walks towards the door only to stumble Purvi rushes to hold him. He motions her with his hand that he is fine and walks towards his room. She goes after him. Tries to get him settled. Helps him take off his vest and his pagdhi. He protests she gets angry at him and tells him to let her. He says no she has no right! She gets more angry and says she has all the rights till the time divorce isnt finalzed. Mukhi goes quite

His breath smells of mix of alcohol and his sweet smell. She feels she is getting intoxicated with his presence and his smell.He looks at her with love, his eyes welling up he moves his hand to her waist and pulls her very close to him, where he can feel her silky soft skin, can smell her, can feel that there is no place for anything and anybody between them, he takes the hair strand from her face and moves it to the side. She smiles seeing her mukhiji back to his old habits. He caresses her face and comes very close to her lips. She blushes but doesnt moves away, she wanted his touch too as thats what she had yearned for since so many days. He could see the effect he has on her. He is about to kiss her when he moves back and says - naa yeh theek naa hai. Naaa mujhe yeh naa kerna chahiye tha, tu ab meri naa hai. Tujh pe mera koi haq naa hai. He stumbles back and walks away fast from there.

Purvi is shattered and feels so incomplete. She wanted this she so wanted this! She wanted him! He was drunk but she wasnt she knew what was happening and what could have happened! She sobbed....she wanted this, she wanted him so bad....

4 days to go....

Purvi is at the terrace hoping to see her mukhiji there! Why is her heart not helping her, why is she always wanting to see mukhiji, why is she wanting to be around him when he isnt even looking at her when they are in the same room even. She thinks dont think he has even looked at her since that day when she told him “hamein farak nahin padhta” why did she lie to him. She had to, she couldnt not have because mukhji, sakshiji and her genda khargosh’s life and happiness depends on it.

She hears somebody coming her heart flutters, a small smile comes on her face. She feels somebody holding her from the back and circling his arms around her. She gets shy but wait this is not her mukhjis hug and neither are these his arms. She turns around with a jerk! Its Vipul! How dare he!! She gives him a tight slap and asks him tumjhari himmat kaise hui hamein choone ki!!

Vipul is shocked and says - Purvi 4 din mein hamari shaadi hone waali hai! Hum ek doosre se pyaar karte hain mera itna haq to banta hai! Mein kuch galat to nahin ker raha, mein tumhara hone waala pati hun!

Purvi screams - Vipul apni hadd mein raho!! Hamne kabhi tumse pyaar nahin kiya, naa karte hain aur naa hi kabhi ker paayenge! Humne sirf ek aadmi se pyaar kiya hai aur saari umar ussi se pyaar krenge! Tum kis haq ki baad ker rahe ho! Tumhara hum pe koi haq nahin hai aur na kabhi hoga!!! Hampe sirf mukhiji ka haq hai! Hamein choone ka, hamein paane ka aur hamein chahne ka haq sirf unka hai! Haq uska hota hai jise diya jaata hai!

Vipul - to fir tum yeh shaadi kyon ker rahi ho!

Purvi - jaante hain hum tumse shaadi ker rahe hain lekin yeh shaadi sirf us din tak hai jab tak him yeh ghar naa chod dein! Us din hum dono alag ho jaayenge! Hum yeh shaadi sirf mukhiji aur sakshiji aur unke bachchon ki khushi ke liye ker rahe hain! Agar ek dost hone ke naate tum hamara saath de sakte ho to hum tumhara ehsaan maanenge lekin usse zyaada ki koi umeed ho to hamein abhi bata do hum kissi aur ko dhoondh lenge lekin hum pe haq nahin denge mukhiji ke alaawa kissi aur ko jab tak hum zinda hain.

Saying this she storms out of there leaving Vipul thinking and unknown to her that there was a silhouette in the darkness who had heard everything...

1 day to go...

Purvi is lying on her bed restless and motionless! She feels she is going to suffoctate to death and wouldnt be able to survive without mukhiji but then she thinks koi baat nahin purvi tere jaane se agar mukhiji sakshiji genda aur khargosh ko ek bharipuri zindagi milti hai to tera chala jaana hi theek hai! Mukhiji to khush rahenge aur isse zyaada zindagi mein mujhe aur kuch nahin chahiye

Suddenly she hears a lot of ruckus outside! She could hear loud voices of MS, prakashi and others. She knew mukhiji was out and has been coming home very late these days just to avoid her so didnt know what was going on outside. She goes out, she hears sakshi asking MS what happened. MS says mukhi has had an accident and is in Goa hospital! His driver is very critical and they havent heard abt mukhijis wellbeing yet. Purvi felt her heart stopped! She felt somebody stabbed her multiple times and she could feel she was losing blood at fast pace and felt giddy! Sakshi was shocked and said - ab kya karenege MS covid ki wajah se to hospitals jaana bhi khatre se khaali nahin hai. Purvi didnt know how or when her feet ran towards the door, she didnt know when she reached the road and was running bare feet, she just wanted to reach Goa hospital as soon as her feet could take her! Suddenly she heard a car screaching to a stop, it was MS he told her to get into the car and the car ran towards the hospital it still felt like ages before they reached!

They ran towards the reception only to be met by the doctor there, they ask abt mukhiji! He says it was a head on collision with a truck Purvi’s heart sank! He says the driver is in ICU and is critical and Mukhiji is unconscious and we are trying to work on him. He excuses himself to look after mukhiji

MS sees Purvi collapsing on the floor he picks her up and hugs a crying Purvi tells her beta tu ghabra naa sab theek ho jaayega! Hamara mukhi bahut strong hai aur uske saath hum sab ki duayein judhi hai, usse tere kanhaji kuch naa hone denge.

Purvi is still inconsolable she says agar unhein kuch ho gaya to hum apne aapko kabhi maaf nahin ker paayenege, hum bhi nahin ji paayenge MS. Hum jaante hain humne unke saath theek nahin kiya, hum jaante hain woh hamein bahut pyaar karte hain, hum jaante hain hum unke bina naa jee paayenge lekin hamari majboori thi yeh sab!

MS - Manne te yeh samajh nahin aa raha yeh sab ho ke raha hai! Mein 2 hafte ke liye bahar kya gaya tune yo sab kya ker diya! Kya zaroorat thi tanne mukhi ko zabardasti khud se alag karne ki! Tu jaanti hai naa usse woh kuch bolta naa hai per dil se kitna bhawuk hai! Kyon ker rahi hai tu us chokre se shaadi

P - sirf naam ke liye ker rahe hain! Hum mukhiji, sakshiji aur hamare genda khargosh ko khush dekhna chahte the aur woh hamare rehte kabhi nahin ho sakta

MS - but mukhi ki khushi ka kya? Bachchon ki khushi ka ky? Un sab ki khushi tujh se hai Purvi Sakshi se naa! Sakshi se byaah mukhi ne mere aur prakashi ke kehne pe kiya tha! Lekin shaadi ke baad hi hum samajh gaye the ki in dono ka koi mel na hai! Mein yo nahin keh raha sakshi buri hai mein keh raha hun woh alag hai, bas mere mukhi jaisi naa hai. Sakshi ko sirf sajne sawarne se, gehnon se, mukhi ke rutbe se, partiyon mein jaane se matlab tha. Woh alag hai, badhe ghar ki beti thi, badhe ghar ki bahu ban gayi per mere mukhi ki patni sahi mainon mein tu hai pruvi sakshi naa! Lekin yeh sab jo tune kiya mera mukhi pehle bhi akela tha aur ab phir akela ho gaya. Saying so MS who had gotten tearly eyed left from there.

Purvi had a realization she ran to kanhaji’s statue in the corridor and broke down! She said - yeh hamse kya ho gaya! Jinki khushi ke liye hum apne aap ko nyochawar ker rahe the unhin ko sabse zyaada dukhi ker diya! Jisse apne aap se bhi zyaada chaha ussi ko akela ker diya.... yeh hamse kya ho gaya kanha ji! Hamein maaf ker dijiye pleaz mukhiji ko theek ker do hum ab unhein kabhi dukh nahin denge kabhi chod ker nahin jaayenge....

BAAWRIIII she heard the one name she was dying to hear... from the one person she only gave all the rights to! She turned around broken and disheveled and there he was standing tall and just breathtaking, his pristine white kurta smeared with blood stains and his forehead wrapped with bandage but he still looked a sight for sore eyes with his arms folded across his big chest!

She wanted to run to him and hug him tight but her feet betrayed her and didnt want to move

Vir - kyon ro rahi hai tanne to koi farak nahin padhna chahiye! Mein jeeyon yaa maroon tujhe kyon farak padh raha hai!

Us din jab Vipul be teri aur apni jhoothi prem kahani batai tanne kyon farak padha ki mein terr baare mein kya sochta hun?

Us din jab vipul ne mere baare mein beizzati se baat ki tanne kyon farak padha?

Us din jab maine sharab peene ka natak kiya tab tujhe kyon farak padha! Ab yeh mat kahiyo nahin padha mujhe pata hai teri kya halat thi!

Us din jab Vipul ne mere kehne pe, haan mere kehne pe tujhe apni bahon mein liya tune kyon usse chamat maari? Vipul ek bhala ladka hai woh jaanta tha ki mein tujhe sache dil se pyaar kerta hun aur tu bhi kerti hai per apni zid ke karan yo sab ker rahi hai

Aaj jab mera accident hua to kyon nange pair bina chapal pehne daudhti hui bhaagi aai!

Ab bol tujhe farak nahin padhta! Bol tu manne pyaar nahin kerti sirf meri izzat karti hai! Bol tujhe pyaar sirf APNI UMAR ke ladke ke saath hi hoga! Bol tu manne akela chodh ke jaana chahti hai..... saying this he teared up!

Purvi couldnt take it any more, she ran towards him and hugged him tight, kissed him like a million times on his face and at the end kissed him on his lips for what felt like eternity! Vir held her tight in his arms, she felt complete because she was in his arms the place only meant for her. They both were crying, both finally understood the meaning of love, both finally understood what they meant for each other.....
