This is a common practice in many households. Servants may help but serving the family n guests is done by the women folk.

Even when the Panch had come, Prakashi calls Anjali to get nashta n chai.

Its matter of mehmaan nawazi. But why Sakshi doesnt work at all..pata nahi

They are stressing on purvi is doing servile tasks while sakshi is the maharani who's lording it over all as the real wife n purvi is a molkki ... that's the impression i got ..also since Saba has the idea that college track didn't work the emphasis is on showing the female lead as a housewife first n foremost 🤔
