Regarding your brother: When I read what you write about him, I always have this big smile pasted on my face, a little sister talking about his big brother... Thanks for sharing. @ Skep – u r rite... i ve to learn to deal with all sorts of ppl... actually my class got into a habit of getting onto the wrong side of r professors (esp the senior most ones...no other batch has managed this feat yet 😆) r problem was that v were too honest or maybe naive is a better word...v ve learned r lesson now....v ignore and try not to take things to seriously which is creating another problem cos now some of the teachers think v r non-serious...over confident etc. etc.😡😆

u kow this particular teacher is probably knowledgeable and all that...she returned frm canada last summer after completing her PhD. Actually initially v had pretty high expectations form her bcos one of r teachers whom v all love was initially supposed to teach this course (Eugene O'Neill's Long Day's Journey into Night – its a beautiful play😍) and she was like that she wont be teaching but the teacher who will is really good and all that...she just returned after completing ehr PhD and basically unki tareefon k pull bandh diye thay... when v got down to actually doing the play with her..v would do little more than read the text with weeny bit of discussion thrown in..v tried analyzing and discussing giving r own opinions and all but it was not at the same level to which v were used to...once towards the end of the semester when the text was finished she told us her take on one of the aspects of the play which was kind of opposite to what the rest of us thought.. And one of my friends had based her final assignment on that opposing view...so she took a board marker, drew a diagram and spent fifteen minutes explaining her point... the teacher stuck to her own view but she agreed to the opposing one as well 😆(this same girl got a C cos the teacher doesnt like her writing style😡)....those 15 minutes were the highlight of the entire course😊...on the other hand she would read a dialogue loaded with meaning at the end of which she would be like: "this is self explanatory." 😒Whn a teacher acts like that than v r like.....what the hell !!! Thats a class joke now... v would joke among r selves that v would write this is self explanatory in her final paper😆😆😆...................

i know HOW u write the ans is equally important but the thing is she herself is confused as to what she means.....she didnt exactly pinpoint the problem with the style.... i mean she felt there were grammatical errors which were actually not errors at all...the tense is bound to change in the middle of an answer according to its requirements but she.....and its very difficult to change the way u after so many years of writing in the same when u r not sure where the problem is......r writing style was the same while writing answers for another playwright and there we've scored 90% and for this second playwright.. v put less of an effort in the exam preparations...i barely spent a hr and my friend prepared 4 it in the morning .. hrs b4 v were supposed to take the exam😳.........this is r final semester so v ve just decided to ignore this prof's antics.....u ve a problem fine pin point it and we'll than mke the effort...

waise since this is the final semseter...we are also supposed to do a dissertation...one of my friends got this teacher as her adviser....i so pity her....and she herself is pretty upset😭

@ Sam thnx yaar😊... u know considering the way i prepared for the exams ' i started posting on IF for the first time on the eve of one of the papers😳 ' my results so far havent been to bad....3As and 2 Bs.😃..lets see what my grades for the rest of the courses will be

@ Ranjna ' this is what v intend to do..chill.. but thats also sort of ruining r reputation with some of the teachers....dere is no way to plz everyone so y care???

And i ll definitely share some other stories about pain in the a** teachers with u guys.😊

@Neha ' there is this pretty wel known theatre director who came to r colg 4 a lecture...he was talking about..among other things.. theatre etiquettes...he was going on abt how ppl should switch of their mobile phones and all and than his phone started ringing.😆😆😆.it was too funny..v were laughing like anything....🤣🤣🤣

@DI ' yeah...the struck up types ...know a couple of such teachers... one of them is much worse...she thinks that she's r right and every one else is wrong😡...and she expect us to follow her opinion and write r answers according to that .. i mentioned in the reply to Neha about how she was an hr and forty five minutes late and pretended to be all righteous and such non sense...will write in detail on this particular teacher later😊

BTW i loved the poem😊 and the story abt your sister's marriage😍btw your brother seems to b really cool.😳

@ Dew 'i m not clear about how this whole thing reminds u of a student teacher romance..i suppose the student would always complain about teh teacher and than ended up falling in love with him?

@ An ' u know i always feel like this as if i ve failed the exam and than i get an A and i m all surprised...there is another teacher who pretends to be all virtuous and superior and sophisticated...will write about her later.........its pretty hilarious 😊
