Raj is guilt ridden cos of all that he has done to Kranti though his character is shown as an oppertunist right now, he will have to turn for good. And as kranti rightly said that he is like a belagam ghoda so our kudi will do the honors of pulling the harness and ensure that our munda does not remain the loyal to the sly britishers and bring out the best in him.
