Yuvi's father in Mohe Rang De

Like father, like son or is it vice versa was our question when we laid our hands on the release announcing that Yograj Singh, father of our hard hitting batsman, Yuvraj Singh making his presence felt on the recently launched channel, Color's popular serial, Mohe Rang De?

The senior Singh will be playing the character of Kulbhushan, father to the male lead Rajbir (Gavie Chehal) in Deepti Bhatnagar's show Mohe Rang De. And just in case you are wondering if this is Yograj's first tryst with acting, we hear that he's an acclaimed Punjabi actor and will soon be seen with his son in a film.

Looks like our 'Singh' duo are all set to prove that Singh is the King - be it either on the cricket field or on the entertainment segment.

But what leaves us wondering is if Yuvi's going to follow papa's footsteps and make inroads into the glitz and glamor of Television world? The lure is definitely there with most of our Bollywood celebs hitting the small screen. And if rumors are to be believed, then the cricket based reality show is something that our hard-hitting batsmen are keenly looking forward to.

So our a rainy Monday morning, our food for thought is - will our swashbuckling batsman follow his father's footsteps or is it just an extension of our jolly good Funjabi's personality?
