I agree, and I love it because IF is like such a big family! You make friends that you trust almost as if you really knew them...it's amazing.

That's the only disadvantage I found also😆

What are the advantages of India-Forums? Why do you visit IF regularly/sporadically?

Indiaforums is a huge network where v meet people who also watch our fav shows. its the platform for dicussions on a wide range of topics. the biggest advantage is the videos posted by our videobies which help people who r outside india n no access to TV n have to rely on videos online.

the king used to not be comfortable with pakistanis before coming here. but today he has a huge fanbase (nee friends) who r pakistanis. theer is ajnu with whom the king has participated in umpteen no. of fights but at the end of the day v r still thick frnds. cannot say the king loves pakistanis now but he definitely doesn't hate them.

What are the disadvantages of IF? (We hope these are less 😳😳 but even if not, we'll work together to make IF an even better place!!)

addiction. v never know when v start spending hours on the net. whetehr at home or work theer will be a window with IF. this is the biggest disadvantage. well v can't work together to lessen this addiction bcoz if u wanna do it then u have to lessen the quality😆

Another thing the king does not like is members fighting with other others for trivial reasons. for eg. there was a article of tellybuzz 2day on shilpa anand. within minutes it turned into a war-zone with shilpa n sukku fans fighting. the chosen one fails to understand why educated people fight with other people whom they hardly know for the sake of people they hardly met or know.

How has IF helped you on a person level? Did you get a lot friends? A place to discuss your favorite shows/ideas? Do you get a lot of help on IF?

on a personal level, yes the king has made loads of frnds here. well the king is sucha colourful personality tht u can never ignore him😉 (itna tho self-praising chalta hain).

And sorry to say this but I-F has changed. There are so so so many RUDE people these days. They resort to personal attacks. I get disgusted seeing sarcastic remarks. I am sure some of them will even find a problem with this comment. It's like a hobby to create problems.

I hope its ok to quote...But I completely agree with Perfangel5655 and King. I wish the Dev team would deal with these people in a more strict fashion. Surprisingly these people are even getting away with it...I wish this would change. Because IF isn't the same anymore..Its used to be a positive happy place...But now its become like a war zone...and I have come to the stage where I avoid going to certain forums for this reason...

ADVANTAGES: This place gave me some wonderfullllllll friends...My JB's....Who have become a family and home away from home....And IF is the perfect place to relax watch your fav shows...discuss and have loadsssssssssssssss of fun !!!!

I completely agree wid kingg i mean..i love coming to this forum..it has given me my frends...my JBs
and thats the main advantage of it that u get to know ppl from all over the world have a common interest of a particular show

disadvantages-are sarcastic comments...hatred towards an actor....which is the main reason

imean i have to think 10 time before opening a topic..in the forum nowadays..thinking it might just get ruined.if we open a positive topic..ppl pass their sarcastic comments n spoil it..im sure all have the right to speak...but one should make sure they arent hurting their fellow dmgians

also there r many ppl..so there r bound to be differences in choices..likes dislikes..but ppl should respect each other..n not comment badd bout his/her fav actor infact any actor...

ever since sukku entered...there has been alot of bashing

not onlyy in the forum..also in the TB article comments..n many harsh wrds hv been used...thats the disadvatnage there...ppl say anything they want..fight and pick on one another

also the members..should respect each other n not go personal n offend one person..ihave seen this happen..so im reporting this

we all know IF is popular worldwide..creatives visit it....and its sadd to see ppl opening topic which offend the actors...esp sukku..the characters...riddhima specially....even the creatives... they r humans after all..!

Advantages

1) IF has given me a second family
2) IF Gave us the KS blog
3) Alot of celeb's, creatives visit IF so they know what fan's are liking and what they want to see

Disadvantages (DMG Forum)

1) People sarcastically mock an actress/show without considering the feelings of their fan's.

2) Indirect Member Bashing why? beacuse u still love the show! LOL Its strange but its true and u only get to see this nazaaara on the Dmg Forum - Daily!

2) Peole Create Fake Accounts to Openly Abuse memebers and DEV.Team and yet they cannot be tackled.

3) TB articles become a war zone everytime anyone from Dmg is mentioned and yet no report button.

4) Lack of strict action againt against the trouble makers

5) Rules are made for name sake

Thanks for this... 😊 I agree with the responses by *King*, angel77 and many others.

Advantages
* The largest Indian forum online...we can connect with many who have the same interests as us
* Ive made a lot of close friends here
* the KS blog....I am so grateful to I-F for it!

Disadvantages
* The DMG forum has become a war zone.... it's more of a Celebrity forum with discussions of actresses Shilpa Sukirti and whoever, as compared to a forum about the show

* True fans of the show find it impossible to discuss the show and share their true feelings and true criticism because everything is turned into bashing....by the people who hate on the show now and just like to ruin the forum wish bashing

* Sadly action isnt taken against members who both indirectly and directly go around bashing not just celebs but also other members of the forum

* Even when members are warned or banned they dont care because some members have this attitude that 'who cares if we get banned, we'l make another id and come back'...they go and make these intentions of theirs clear at other parts of I-F..... There's a lot of fake ID's created by members just so they can bash
