Within a few days,the doctor gave them some information regarding Nupur's baby missing on that day.According to the doctor,when he pressurized one of the staffs who were there in duty in the OT that day during Nupur's delivery,he confessed that the baby was very much alive but someone gave him and another nurse huge money and compelled them to hide the baby and declare it as dead.On getting the information,Nupur and Mayank immediately reached the hospital and talked with the doctor.The doctor had already called the police and informed them about that crime.When they reached the hospital,the inspector asked,"Aap dono??"Mayank replied,"Hum vohi hai,jinka bachcha chori ho gaya tha 3 saal pehle.Hum us compounder se baat karna chahte hai."The police allowed them.Mayank and Nupur went to the room where the compounder was captured and he,on seeing him,grabbed his collar and asked,"Sharam nehi aayi tujhe aisa karte huye?Tune humse hamaari bachchi ko alag kar diya?Himmat kaise huyi teri aisa karne ki?Bol?"Mayank started beating that man.Nupur and the police tried to stop him but they could not control him as he turned into a total animal.By some means,Mayank finally controlled himself and then asked,"Bata kisne paise diye the tujhe?Bol?"The compounder was crying with pain but somehow he replied,"Vo saab mere saath jo dusri nurse thi usne mujhe bataya tha ke kisine us bachchi ko gayab karne ke liye bohot saare paise diye the.Mujhe nehi pata hai ke kisne diye hai,sab usiko pata tha.Bachche ko yaha se hataane ke baad hum logo ne ek laawaris mare huye bachche ko us bachche ke saath badal diya.Kisiko shaq isliye nehi hua kyuke janam ke baad har bachcha ek jaisa hi hota hai dikhne mein."The inspector asked,"Vo nurse kaha hai?"The compounder replied,"Vo nurse uske kuch hi dino baad yaha se chali gayi.Vo pata nehi kaha gayi hai,kisiko kabhi kuch nehi bataya aur vo kaha rehti hai ye bhi kisiko nehi pata kyuki vo ye sheher chorkar chali gayi."Nupur was very excited thinking that now she would be able to get the culprit who was behind stealing of Muskaan but when the compounder told them that the particular nurse who did that had left the city,she was heart broken.The police made the compounder to draw the sketch of the lady and then arrested him.The policeman asked Mayank and Nupur to go home and they will try to find that nurse and whenever they will get any news,they will inform them.

After returning home,Mayank and Nupur told everyone whatever had happened in the hospital.At that moment,on hearing Mayank and Nupur's voice,Muskaan came to them running and said,"Mamma papa aap phichche kho gaye.Mu ne aapko chab jagah dhunda mamma papa kayi nei miley."Mayank smiled and replied,"Mamma papa ghumne gaye the."Muskaan narrowed her eyes and softly asked,"Mu ko ghumi ghumi nei le gaye?"Mayank picked her up in his arms and said,"Dekho vo kya hai na Muskaan aur papa to aksar jaate hai na bahaar ghumne tab to mamma ko nehi lekar jaate to isse na mamma papa se thora sa naraaz thi,isiliye aaj papa mamma ko lekar gaye kyuki agar mamma zyaada der naraaz rahegi to Muskaan aur papa ka kaise chalega."She made a face as if she had understood everything and then nodded her head like a matured person.She asked,"Ab mamma naaj nei hai na?"He replied,"Aap khud hi puchlo."Muskaan turned towards Nupur and said,"Mamma mee papa aththe papa hai,aap papa che naaj mat hona aul papa ko aaap bi mat kanna."Nupur kissed on Muskaan's cheek and replied,"Thik hai."Mayank then said to Nupur,"Nupur packing karlo,hum parso waapas ja rahe hai,office mein bohot kaam pending hua para hai."Gunjan made a sad face and asked,"Kya jiju itni jaldi chale jaaoge?"Mayank replied,"Kya karu saaliji kaam ko to chor nehi sakta na.Ek kaam karna tum hamaare yaha ghumne aa jhaana aur kuch din reh kar jaana."She immediately made a scared face and said,"Na baba na jiju,mujhe aapki daadi aur bua se bohot dar lagta hai.Hume dekh kar hi jo shakal banaati hai na vo.No way!!"Namrata immediately glared and pinched her.Mayank laughed out and said,"Main to apni bua ko ghar se kitna bhagaane ki koshish kar raha hu par vo to fevicol bankar chipak gayi hai puri.Mujhe ye baat kehne mein koi sharam nehi hai ke unhone hi meri daadi ka brainwash karke rakkha hua hai aur unke jaate hi na hamaari aadhi problems dur ho jaayengi."Nupur scolded him and said,"Mayank tum aise kahoge to tumhe dekh kar Muskaan kya seekhegi?"He mocked her and replied,"Kyu usko dikhaayi nehi deta hai kya kuch bhi?Main agar kuch na bhi kahu par bari hogi to usko bhi to sab samajh mein aayega hi na."Namrata said,"Ha beta ye baat to sahi hai,chahe jaise bhi ho vo aapke bare hai,aapko aise nehi kehna chahiye."Mayank looked at both of them and replied,"Aap dono ma beti ko mera pranaam.Muskaan beta chalo hum log chalte hai yaha se varna aapki mamma aur naani hume paagal kar dengi."Muskaan asked,"Mamma naani paagal hai?Paagal kya hai?Paagal ganna hota hai?"Mayank nodded his head and replied,"Paagal matlab...uh...thora sa ganda hota hai pura nehi."On hearing this,Muskaan disagreed with him and replied,"Nei mei mamma aththi hai,chabche aththi mamma hai.Mei mamma paagal nei hai."Nupur gave a proud look to Mayank.Namrata asked everyone to sit for dinner.In the dining table,while Nupur was feeding Muskaan,she said,"Mamma mudhe ye baala nei papa bala khaana chahiye."Nupur said,"Nehi beta vo khaana aapke liye nehi hai.Aapka khaana mamma ne khud banaya hai jo aapke petu ke liye bohot achcha hai.Papa waala khaana khaaogi to petu mein dard hoga na."Muskaan nodded her head and replied,"Nei mudhe papa bala khaana khaana hai."Nupur tried to make her understand but she was not ready to listen.She said,"Beta papa ka khaana hai na bohot teekha hai,vo aap nehi kha paaogi."Muskaan adamantly said,"Nei nei nei!!Mudhe papa ka khaana khaana hai,ye khaana ganna hai.Mu nei khaayegi."Nupur became very angry with her and said,"Muskaan aajkal aap bohot zidd karne lagi ho.Sab yaha aapse pyar karte hai to iska matlab ye nehi hai ke mamma aapki saari baat maanegi.Mamma aapko jo khilaati hai vo aapke liye achcha hota hai aur vohi aapko khaana parega.Chalo ab zyaada badmaashi mat karo."From the day,Muskaan arrived in their life,Nupur never scolded her and that was the first time,when Muskaan was being scolded by her mother.Muskaan stared at her mother with a disbelief and then asked,"Mamma aapne Mu ko daata??Mu ko aaap kiya?"Nupur replied,"Ha kiya kyuki aap mamma ki baat nehi sunti hai."Muskaan was didn't upset but rather made an angry face and complained to her father,"Papa papa mamma ne mudhe daata,aap mamma ko aaap kalo."Mayank looked angrily towards Nupur and said,"Mamma aaap!!!Dekho maine daat diya mamma ko.Muskaan ko papa waala khaana khaana hai na.Thik hai."Muskaan was very happy on hearing that and Mayank gave her a bite of his food.Muskaan ate it happily but within a second her expressions changed.Her eyes became wide were filled with tears.She slowly uttered,"Mamma paayi."Nupur said,"Ab paani kyu chahiye?Bohot naach rahi thi na?Mamma ki baat nehi sunogi to aisa hi hoga."Nupur gave her water and she emptied the whole glass and then said,"Mu ab mamma ki hal baat chunegi.Mu kabi papa baala khaana nei khaayegi."Nupur pampered her and then said,"Thats like mamma's baby.Chalo abhi khaana finish karlo."Muskaan had her dinner and then she was left to play with her cousin.

When the kids were playing in their room,all the elders were having dinner.Namrata said,"Mujhe to lagta hai Nupur,ye jo Muskaan ko tum logo se alag kiya gaya tha na,ye kisi aise insaan ka kaam hai jo tum logo ko bohot achche se jaanta hai aur tum logo ki har baat usey bhi pata thi."Mayank agreed and said,"Ha mummyji mujhe bhi yehi lagta hai aur Muskaan jisdin paida hui thi usdin vo bhi wahi tha."Suddenly Gunjan said something shocked Mayank.She casually said,"Mujhe to lagta hai jiju,didi ke pehle do miscarriage bhi normal nehi hai,kya pata jisne Muskaan ko alag kiya aapse,usine didi ki miscarriage karwaayi ho."Mayank and Nupur stopped eating their food and looked at Gunjan.Savita said,"Kaisi baate kar rahi ho Gunjan?Tum bhi na.Vo to Nupur ki tabiyat kharaab ho gayi thi isiliye."Gunjan said to Savita,"Aapko pata bhi hai bhabhi aajkal aise kitne saare medicines banaaye jaate hai jo kisi bhi pregnant aurat ko bina uske knowledge ke uske khaane ke saath mila diya jaata hai aur unka miscarriage ho jaata hai aur reports mein bhi aise hi aata hai jaise ke koi normal miscarriage ho."She looked towards Nupur and Mayank and said,"Didi,jiju mujhe to pura yakeen hai ke koi ye chahta hi nehi hai ke aap dono mummy papa bano.Par aisa karega kaun?"Namrata scolded Gunjan and then said,"Gunjan chupchap beth kar khaana khao."Mayank stopped her and said,"Nehi mummyji,Gunjan ke baato mein dam to hai.Varna aap hi sochiye do do baar miscarriage jab ke dono baar Nupur ke pregnancy mein koi bhi complications nehi thi aur ma aur bachcha dono hi fit and fine the.Nupur ko kabhi apni pregnancy ko lekar kisi kisam ka dar,anxiety kuch nehi tha aur usne apne khaane peene ka bhi pura dhyaan rakkha tha."He nodded his head and in a suspicious tone said,"Gunjan thik keh rahi hai,daal mein kuch to kaala hai aur ab to mujhe lagta hai,ke Nupur Muskaan ko janam isliye de paayi kyuki,maine usey yaha bhej diya tha aur isiliye Muskaan chori ho gayi varna is baar bhi Nupur ka miscarriage kar diya jaata."The spoon fall from Nupur's hand and her hand and she started shivering.She somehow completed her dinner and returned to her room.

When Mayank returned to his room,he found Muskaan was sleeping on Nupur's shoulder and Nupur was patting her and shedding tears.Mayank sat near her on the bed and said,"Gunjan ki baato se upset ho.Dekho ye baat to hamaara sirf ek assumption hai nothing else."Nupur said,"Ye sach bhi to ho sakta hai na Mayank.Socho agar ye sch hua to?Kisine mere bachcho ko maara hai vo bhi puri planning ke saath.Kisiko unse kya dushmani ho sakti hai jo abhitak is duniya mein hi nehi aaya hai."Mayank said,"Humne police ko bata diya hai na.Ab jab tak vo nurse nehi mil jaati hume asli doshi ka pata nehi chal sakta hai."She said,"Iska matlab to yehi hai na ke Muskaan ki jaan to abhi bhi khatre mein hai.Usne jab mere bachcho ko paida hone se pehle hi maar diya to Muskaan ke saath to kabhi bhi kuch bhi ho sakta hai.Main usey ab ek pal ke liye bhi akela nehi chodungi."Mayank understood that Nupur was scared of loosing Muskaan now and she said,"Ghabraao mat Nupur hum dono hai na ab to hume bhi pata chal gaya hai ke koi hai jo ye sab kar raha hai,to ab se hum dono bilkul achche se Muskaan ki hifaazat bhi to kar sakte hai."Nupur put Muskaan down on the bed and hugged Mayank and said,"Main apne do bachcho ko kho chuki hu,ye kho kar waapas mili hai hume,main ab isey phir se nehi khona chahti.Agar usey khatra hai to chalo hum kahi aur settle ho jaayenge."Mayank patted her back and continuously consoled her and also determined that he would grab the person who was behind it.
