In the morning,Nupur woke up early as usual and found Mayank still sleeping beside her.She looked at the time in her mobile and found that there were 20 - 30 missed calls from both Payal and Dhruv.She bit her tongue and realized that she totally forgot to call back any one of them and they would really be worried.She immediately pulled her saree and wore it quickly.After that she looked again towards Mayank and nodded her head in disappointment.After wearing the saree,she called him up.In a sleepy tone,he replied,"Sone do na yaar bohot neend aa rahi hai.Please main baad mein breakfast kar lunga."Nupur cleared her throat and replied,"Mayank hum dono ghar mein nehi outhouse mein hai aur kal se abhitak bhaiya aur didi ne kamsekam 50 baar calls kiye hai,abhi hume ghar jaana chahiye."Mayank opened his eyes with a jerk and jumped on his bed and yelled,"What???"Nupur nodded her head.He was about to leave the bed but as soon as his eyes fall on the floor,he found his clothes there and realized that he was not in the condition to get up.In the next moment,in bits and pieces he remembered what happened last night.He wa so embarrassed on realizing it,that he could not meet his eyes with Nupur properly.He signalled her to go home and manage there and he would join her in minutes.She nodded her head and then left from there.When she reached home,she found all were staring at her.She was so scared on seeing their faces that now no one would be able to save her from their anger.Before,Maadhvi could say her anything,Payal came to her and said,"Maana private party thi par kamsekam ek call karke bata to sakte the ke raat ko nehi aa rahe ho.Koi kuch nehi kehta tujhe ghar mein,ya phir phone utha hi leti.Pata hai tujhe aur tere us dumbo pati ko hum dono ne milkar kitne calls kiye hai??"Nupur replied,"Didi I know and believe me,main aana chahti thi,par na khaana khaane ke baad main itni thak gayi ke kya bolu aur upar se baarish bhi ho rahi thi phir uske khatam hone ka intezaar karte karte kab aakh lag gayi pata hi nehi chala.Jab aakh khuli to dekha subhe ho gayi."Dhruv stopped Payal and said,"Kya Payal tum bhi aayi hai abhi abhi bichaari,usko saas to lene do.Ab private party hui hai to kabhi kabhi aisa ho jaata hai.Apna time yaad nehi hai,hum dono bhi to apne anniversary mein private party karte the.In dono ne to tradition ko maintain kiya hai.Iam proud of you Nupur!!Vaise kaha hai vo?"She blushed and replied,"Vo aa raha hai,aapko to pata hai na kitni der se uski aakh khulti hai."Maadhvi cleared her throat and said,"Nupur ja beta,nahakar fresh ho ja phir aakar naashta karle."Nupur nodded her head and left from there.

After having a bath,she sat in front of the mirror and started inspecting herself.She closed her eyes and remembered how Mayank had touched her at night and completed her.She hugged herself and still could feel his sensation all over her body.She opened her eyes and then looked at her image and felt as if she had rediscovered herself.She had no idea that submission to love would change a woman's personality to such an extent that she herself could not recognize herself.She said to herself,"Aaj aisa lag raha hai jaise jiski parchaayi aaine mein dekh rahi hu vo meri nehi kisi aur ki hai.Ye vo Nupur nehi hai jo shaadi ke naam se nafrat karti thi,jo use bhaagti thi balki ye to vo Nupur hai jo ab is shaadi ko jeena chahti hai.Ha main is shaadi ko nibhaana chahti hu,main isey jeena chahti hu."She applied the vermillion on her forehead and said,"Main is shaadi ko zarur nibhaaungi,chahe kuch bhi ho jaaye aur main Mayank ko apne dil ki baat bata kar rahungi."She had a smile on her face.Just then she heard a knock on her door and she turned her face and found Payal standing there.Nupur welcomed her inside and said,"Arey didi aaiye na andar aaiye."Payal came inside and said,"Uswaqt maine tujhe thora daat diya,par tu please bura mat manna asal mein na kal tum dono jab gaye the to guests ne tumhaare baare mein bohot pucha aur isliye mummyji aur papaji thore upset the par maine unhe samjha diya hai.Aaj mummyji tujhe shaayad daat deti isliye maine tujhe thora daat kar andar bhej diya."Nupur replied,"Arey nehi didi isme kaunsi bari baat ho gayi aur vaise bhi zaahir si baat hai na aap ne itni baar phone kiya tha humne nehi uthaaya to aap sabko thori tenion to hogi hi na."Payal held her hand and made her sit on the bed and looked into her face.With a smile,she held her chin and said,"Bohot badly badly lag rahi hai,ek hi raat mein aisa kaunsa jaadoo kar diya hai mere dewar ne ek raat mein hi meri devraani ka rang roop hi itna khil aaya hai.Hmm??"Nupur blushed and lowered her head.Payal understood the meaning behind her blushing and teased her,"Hmmm to lagta hai ke kal ki raat bohot khaas thi aur lagta hai ke kal raat ko soyi bhi nehi thi tu.Baat kya hai?"Nupur nodded her head and Payal replied,"Achcha thik hai ab nehi puchti hu main tujhe kuch bhi.Filhaal chal aur chalkar naashta kar le aur Mayank bhi aa gaya hai."On hearing Mayank's name a current ran through her spines and she shivered a bit.Payal left from there and Nupur followed her afterwards.

In the dining table,Nupur sat beside Mayank and served him the food.Mayank was already very sorry for his behaviour last night and whatever happened between them.He couldn't even meet his eyes with her but she had nothing to do with that and was doing her duty and was looking at him hiding from everyone.Whenever their eyes used to meet,he used to give an embarrassing smile and with each smile Nupur thought that he was having the feeling that After the breakfast,Mayank went to their bedroom.He thought of apologizing to her for his deeds and so on getting inside his bedroom,he called Nupur and said,"Vo Nupur mujhe tumse kuch baat karni thi."Nupur was feeling very shy and her heart beat raised on thinking that Mayank would have come to propose her.She turned towards him and said,"Mujhe pata hai Mayank ke tum kya baat karna chahte ho."He gave a sigh of relief thinking that Nupur might have understood what he really wanted to say.He said,"Thank God ke tum samajh gayi-"He was just about to apologize when Dhruv knocked on the door and asked,"Kya main andar aa sakta hu?By the way maine disturb to nehi kiya?"Nupur smiled and replied,"Ha ha bhaiya aaiye na,main to abhi bachcho ke paas hi ja rahi thi.Aaiye andar aaiye."Saying she left from there.Dhruv looked at Mayank and gave a teasing smile to him.Mayank was confused and asked,"Kya baat hai aap aise muskura kyu rahe ho?"He replied,"Nehi main ye puch raha tha ke kal raat ko sab kuch thik tha na??I mean...you know what I mean na?"Mayank gave a scared look to him and replied,"Bhaiya please stop it yaar!!"Aisa kuch nehi hai,it was just a simple private party aur kuch nehi.Filhaal mujhe abhi bahaar jaana hai."Payal came almost running to Mayank's room and said,"Dekh maine kabse ye shirt tere liye kharid kar rakkha hai aur tujhe dena hi bhul gayi,Tere favourate brand ka shirt laayi thi."Dhruv looked at Payal and taunted,"Haaye mere liye to kabhi shopping nehi karti tum."Mayank laughed and replied,"Aapki ma hai na,mere liye to meri bhabhi hi meri ma hai.Thanks bhabhi!!"Payal pulled his cheeks and replied,"You're welcome baby!!"Mayank was about to open his shirt to wear the new shirt but then asked Payal to leave from there to which she replied,"Aye haaye mujhse sharmaata hai??Aisa lg raha hai jaise pehli baar shirt utaar raha ho mere saamne.Zyaada na laal hone ki zarurat nehi hai.Chupchap yehi change kar mujhe dekhna hai ke ye colour tujhe suit karta hai ya nehi."He then opened his shirt and tried on the new shirt and at that moment,Payal noticed some scratch marks on his back and she was very scared and asked,"Mayank ye tere peeth par aise ghaao kaise aaye??Chot lagi hai kya?"Mayank stopped with a jerk and had a flashback of what happened last night.Payal came near him and gave a close look on his back and said,"Ye nishaan na..."Dhruv immediately pulled Payal away from there and said,"Kya kar rahi ho yaar Mrs Sharma,tumhaara dewar ab bachcha nehi raha bara ho gaya hai...Samjha karo."He winked at Payal and then she got him.Mayank was shy like hell and Dhruv teased him again,"Kal raat ko kuch bhi nehi hua tha Payal bas ek maamuli si private party thi.Hai na Mayank?"Mayank gave a disturbing look and said,"Bhaiya!!!"Without waiting for their reaction Mayank left from there.Dhruv put his arms around Payal and said,"Congratulations aakhirkaar Nupur aur Mayank har maayne mein ek ho hi gaye."Payal smiled to him.

[ FEW DAYS LATER ]

The next few days brought a lot of changes in Nupur and Mayank's life.Nupur took care of Mayank's each and everything like an ideal wife which created suspicion and uneasiness in Mayank's mind with equal pace.Whenever he tried to talk with Nupur about that night's incident,due to some interruptions,he could never be able to talk to her.One day,he did grab an opportunity to talk.She was working in the kitchen when Mayank came from behind her.On seeing him,her heart had a goosebump as she was very surprised.She asked,"Tum yaha kya kar rahe ho Mayank?Kuch chahiye ho to bolo?"He lowered his head and replied,"Chahiye to hai aur vo hai tumhaari maafi."She was confused and asked,"Maafi???Kisliye?"He said,"Us raat ki harkat ke liye.I know,hum us raat drunk bhi nehi the aur vo sab...I know isme saari galti meri hi thi,na to main tumhe us private party mein lekar jaata aur naahi ye sab hota.Pata nehi mujhe uswaqt kya ho gaya tha,kuch samajhme hi nehi aaya."She was damn shocked and asked,"Tum kehna kya chahte ho Mayank?"He replied,"Dekho Nupur ab tumhaara is ghar se jaane ka waqt ho chukka hai aur aise moment mein hum dono ke beech mein ye sab nehi hona chahiye tha.Main ab apne aur tumhaare life mein aur koi complications nehi chahta.Isiliye Iam sorry aur ab tumhe bhi dheere dheere yaha se jaane ki tayyari shuru kar deni chahiye isse pehle ki hum dono ke liye apni family ko manaana aur bhi mushkil ho jaaye."Mayank held her hand while he said all these.After he left from there,he had shaken Nupur's whole foundation.She held the corner of the cooking table to steady herself.The dreams which she had just arranged which had made her life beautiful,crashed in front of her eyes.She dashed on the floor with a shocked face and a drop of tear ran down her cheeks.
