There's no denying that the Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon star Sanaya Irani has reached the pinnacle of success and has raced ahead of her contemporaries, but success stop holding her hand when she forayed onSony Entertainment Television's much hyped and much talked show Chhanchhan.

It kicked off with fanfare in March this year, but its TRPs couldn't take off in a big way. And finally the channel has decided to pull curtains on it. Sanaya, who believe everything that happens in life happens for a reason, says it is a logical decision to end the show now.

She is looking forward to doing something bigger. "The show is going off air. It wasn't gaining TRPs ... any show that doesn't have TRPs shouldn't be on-air, so there is nothing left to say. I believe everything that happens in my life happens for a reason. So, I believe something bigger is waiting for me, that is why this has happened," believes Sanaya, who also appeared in successful show Miley Jab Hum Tum, opposite her real-life boyfriendMohit Sehgal.

Meanwhile, Sanaya was seen dancing on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 6 with her best friend Drashti Dhami. She appeared during a special teen-ka-tadka theme of the reality show and supported her friend. She has also approached for Star Plus' upcoming couple dance reality show Nach Baliye along with her beau Mohit. If sources are to be believed then her chances to opt the show are very high, as there will be no big venture in her kitty after Chhanchhan's termination.

Telly actress Sanaya Irani, popular as Khushi Kumari Gupta from Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon and last seen in Chhanchhan, has now been finalised to play the lead in Saurabh Tewari's next on Colors.

Barely a month since her show, Chhanchhan, went off air after running for six months, the actress has already bagged a new show.

According to a source, the show is about a girl who believes in love and how her path crosses with a man, who doesn't believe in it. Says the source, "Sanaya has been in talks with the production house for a long time. She has been now been finalised.

In fact, the production house was keen on casting her as the lead in Life OK's Do Dil Ek Jaan, but things couldn't materialize back then. The production house is now busy casting the male lead. It will be a casting coup of sorts as Sanaya is much in demand despite her last show failed to rake in the ratings."

Sanaya to compete with best friend Drashti

Sanaya Irani and Drashti Dhami have defied the popular belief that two actresses can never be good friends. The two have been close pals for long and Sanaya was also seen supporting Drashti in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6.

However, with Sanaya's latest project, she will be pitted against her friend. The actress, last seen inChhanchhan, has been finalised to play the lead in Saurabh Tewari's next on the very channel which airs Drashti's Madhubala " Ek Ishq Ek Junoon.

With their shows airing on the same channel " also produced under the same banner " they will definitely invite comparisons.

Says a source, "The makers had also offered Sanaya the lead role in Do Dil Ek Jaan, but it didn't materialise. It would be interesting to see who performs better in the rating chart. The show is about a girl who believes in love. Her path crosses with a man, who doesn't believe in it."

Popular television actress, Sanaya Irani, who is currently enjoying her time holidaying with family in America, is said to have bagged her next show, after Chhanchhan's closer fromSony Entertainment Television.

She has been approached by Nautanki Telefilm' owner Saurabh Tewari, who is currently leading one of the best and highly appreciated shows, Madhubala on Colors. If buzz has to be believed he has now finalised Sanaya Irani, popular as Khushi Kumari Gupta from Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, to play the lead in his next on Colors.
