Mayank was standing on the bus stand waiting to cross the road,since it was heavily raining and he needed shelter.All the time,he was waiting,he was frequently looking at his watch and cursing the rain.He said,"Ye baarish ko bhi abhi aana tha,aaj to mujhe us larki se milne jaana hai.Vo to abhi tak aa bhi chuki hogi,bichaari!!Mujhe kisiko apne liye wait karwaana achcha nehi lagta hai,par main bhi kya karu,ye bin mausam barsaat ne to sab kuch kharaab karke rakkha hua hai."He tried to stop an auto so that at least he could cross the road.MAYANK SHARMA works as Asst Manager in a company of single relationship status with a family consisting of only his mother.Recently his mother has decided that his son should get married now and Mayank too thought that recently he had got an opportunity of promotion and so he should get married and settle in life.When Mayank accepted to get married,his mother started searching for a match and after finding a nice girl,she asked him to meet the girl in a restaurant.After waiting for a long time,the speed rain drops started decreasing and so Mayank decided that he should cross the road now.He crossed the road successfully and then finally reached the restaurant.When he got inside the restaurant,he searched for the girl and finally found that she was putting her head down on the table and was sleeping.Mayank felt very sorry for her thinking that she might have been waiting for him for quite a long time and fall asleep.Mayank called the girl,"Miss Bhushan!!Miss Nupur!!Hullo!!"Nupur woke up and then said,with sleepy eyes she looked at him and without recognizing him,in that condition,she scolded him,"Kaun hai be??Kachchi neend se utha diya mujhe."Mayank was boggled at this first introductory treatment and then he said,"Miss Bhushan!!Main Mayank hu,Mayank Sharma.Hum yaha ek dusre se milne aaye the,shaadi ke silsilay mein."Nupur looked at him like a fool and slowly got back her senses and then she sprinkled some water on her eyes and then looked at him properly.She widened her eyes and said,"Ooops!!Iam really very very sorry!!Vo na mujhe bohot neend aa rahi thi to pata nehi kab aakh lag gayi.Please betho."Mayank took his seat and then apologized to her and then said,"I know main thora sa late ho gaya,actually thik time par hi aaya tha par itni baarish thi na ke road hi cross nehi kar paaya,so..."Nupur stopped him and then said,"No no!!No need to say sorry,actually main to khud tumhe...pehle meeting mein hi tum keh rahi hu...ye aap vaap ki formality mujhse nehi hoti hai.Aisa lagta hai jaise kisi alien se baat kar rahi hu,by god!Actually aaj bohot mehnat ka kaam kiya hai to thaki hui thi,tum late kar rahe the to maine bhi thori jhapki maar li.Isse kya hua,aaj raat ko jo mujhe ek important kaam ko anjaam dena hai,uske liye main fresh feel kar rahi hu."Mayank was flooded by her words,actually the speed in which she was talking.Mayank curiously asked,"Kaisa important kaam?"Nupur was abput to reply him,but at that moment,her phone rang.She almost snatched her phone and picked that up.The convo :-

N :- "Bol Montu!!!"

M :- "------------"

N :- "Saalo itna time lagta hai ek gaar ka intezaam karne mein.Plan bhi maine banaya,sab kuch maine kiya aur tum log gaari ka intezaam karne main mare ja rahe ho.Kameeno!!"

M :- "------------"

N :- "Kya gaari ka intezaam ho gaya??Driver nehi mil raha hai?O teri!!Isme to apna haath bhi tang hai.Thik hai-"

Suddenly her eyes fall on Mayank who was listening to Nupur very anxiously and then she asked,"Tumhe driving aati hai?"Mayank nodded his head and replied,"Ha aa-"Nupur excitedly replied,"Great!!"She continued her convo :-

N :- "Ha Montu intezaam ho gaya hai.Tu bas ready rahiyo aaj raat 12 baje,pohoch jaayenge hum dono."

M :- "-----------"

She cut the call and then said to Mayank,"Iam sorry!!Maine tumse bina puche hi ha kar diya hai."Mayank,in a scrared voice asked,"Par baat kya hai agar ye aap mujhe bataati to..."Nupur replied,"Meri ek dost hai Dia,vo na college ke time se Benji naam ke hamaare hi ek classmate se pyar karti thi,vo bhi karta tha,par Dia ki family ka status aur Benji ka status bohot different tha,isliye larki ke gharwaalo ne shaadi se mana kar diya.Ab Dia na apne gharwaalo se bohot darti thi,to isliye jaha uski shaadi tey hui,usne wahi shaadi kar li par uske sasuralwaalo ne uspar bohot zulm kiye to isliye vo apne pati se divorce lekar ghar aa gayi.Ab Benji aur Dia dubaara se miley aur vo dono abhi bhi ek dusre se pyar karte hai to humne socha hai kea b chahe kuch bhi ho jaaye hum un dono ki shaadi karwaakar rahenge,to aaj raat ko larki ko ghar se bhagaane ka plan hai aur Montu hai na uske papa luckily marriage registrar hai,to unki shaadi aaj raat ko hi ho jaayegi.Humne sab arrangemet to kar liya hai par gaari ke liye driver nehi mil raha hai to ab bas usike liye tumhaari madat chahiye."Mayank heard the story and then he thought that he should help them as they were fighting for a right cause and so he said,"Thik hai main madat karunga par mujhe ek baat bataao,vo ghar se niklegi to uske gharwaalo ko pata nehi chalega?"Nupur replied,"Uska bhi intezaam ho gaya hai.Humne Dia ko kaha hai ke vo apne gharwaalo ke khaane mein neend ki dawa mila de."Mayank was stunned thinking how much reckless Nupur was but still he liked her attitude and so he agreed to accompany her.Mayank said,"Vaise hum yaha jis vajah se milne aaye the vo baat to hui hi nehi."Nupur replied,"Ha vo baat to filhaal reh gayi hai.Ha Shanno aur tumhari ma ne ek dusre se baat ki hai aur hamaara yaha milna plan kiya hai.To...frankly bolu,mujhe tum bohot achche lage ho...I mean cute ho par vo kya hai na first meeting mein ye bol dena ke shaadi karni hai ya nehi,ye thora mushkil hai,so..."Mayank understood her and then said,"Ya of course!!Main samajh sakta hu.Mujhe koi jaldi nehi hai,tum achche se soch samajh lo...I don't mind,vaise mere ghar mein,sirf meri ma aur main hi rehte hai.Tumhaare ghar mein kaun kan hai?"Nupur replied,"Papa hai,Gunji hai,Shanno hai aur main."Mayank felt very sorry hearing that Nupur didn't have her mother and so he asked,"Shanno aur Gunjan aapki do behne hai?"She nodded her head and replied,"Nehi sirf Gunji,yani Gunjan meri behen hai,Shanno,yani Shanti meri ma ka naam hai.Jabse bolna seekha hai,sun sun kar ma ke bajaaye Shanno hi bola hai,ab bachpan ki aadat to jaati nehi hai na,so isiliye bas...Vaise chalo kuch order karte hai,coffee ya kuch..."Mayank looked at the time and then said,"Nehi abhi coffee khaaunga to bhukh mar jaayegi aur dinner time mein bhi zyaada der nehi hai,to ek baar mein ghar jaakar khaana hi kha lunga."Nupur agreed and then ordered the waiter to pack,one plate of biriyani and butter chicken for her home.She said to Mayank,"Pinku,Chinku,Rinku ke liye,unhe achchi achchi restaurant ka khaana bohot pasand hai."He asked,"Ye teeno kaun hai?"Nupur replied,"Dost hai mere."While they were talking the waiter brought her packet and Mayank asked her that he would drop her home,as it doesn't look good to leave a girl alone.Nupur agreed and then Mayank stopped a taxi and then they both went to Nupur's house.

After reaching there,Mayank paid the taxi and both came out of the taxi.Nupur said,"Ab jab yaha tak aa hi chuke ho,to ghar chalo mere saath.Vaise ghar mein abhi koi hai nehi sab meri ek cousin ki shaadi attend karne out of town gaye hai."Mayank said,"Thik hai to main tumhe kamsekam tumhaare darwaaze tak to drop kar hi sakta hu na."Nupur said,"Ha vo tum kar sakte ho,I don't mind.Thik hai chalo."They started walking and also talking.Mayank asked,"Achcha tumhe kaisa larka pasand hai?"Nupur replied,"Jo bohot zyaada adventurous ho.Jo hamesha bina darey sahi baat ka saath de aur sahi ke liye kuch bhi kare,kisi bhi hadh tak ja sakey.By the way tumhe kaisi larki pasand hai?"Mayank replied,"Ek achchi larki,jo mera aur meri ma ka khayaal rakkhe.Jo thori understanding aur matured ho bas aur kuch nehi."Nupur looked at him with wide eyes and said,"Bas itna sa???Aajtak mujhe dekhne jitney bhi larke aaye hai,sabko ya to ye chahiye ya to vo,kiske liye baal khubsurat chahiye,maine usko achchi si wig gift mein de di aur kaha ke isise shaadi karlo.Kisiko khaana achcha bananewaali biwi chahiye to maine kaha chef se shaadi karlo.Sabko ye ya vo chahiye par larki kisiko nehi chahiye.Tum pehle aise aadmi ho jisey aisi biwi chahiye.Very good!!Iam impressed.By the way tumhe vahej to nehi chahiye na?I mean car,bed,fridge etc etc?"Mayank started laughing and said,"Agar mujhe dahej chahiye hota to main kisi karorpati ki beti ko pakarta na?Tumse milne kyu aata?Vaise main koi zameen par nehi sota hu jo mujhe bed chahiye aur main ek car bohot jaldi lene waala hu,don't worry!!"Nupur was impressed and said,"I like it!!Sach mein tum mujhe bohot achche lage ho.Arey ye lo,mera ghar bhi aa gaya."After reaching her home,she called Pinku,Chinku and Rinku.Earlier Mayank thought them to be kids of neighbours,but shocking him,they turned out to be street dogs.When they came,Nupur bent on her knees and unpacked the food and said,"Ye lo tum teeno ke liye,khaas order dekar laayi hu achche waale restaurant se."The dogs started barking out of joy and then Nupur divided the food and said,"Khaana lekar ab jhagra mat karna,bilkul hi good boy ke tarah khaana.Samajh gaye na?"The dogs started eating and on seeing this,Mayank was stunned and remained open mouthed.After sometime,when he returned to his senses and asked,"Ye kutte hai???Main abhi tak soch raha tha ke ye bachcho ke naam hai?"Nupur got up on her feet and said,"Ha ye kutte hai.Papa roz subhe inhe biscuit khilaate hai aur Shanno,ghar ka bacha kucha khaana aur isliye ye teeno humse bohot pyar karte hai aur yehi ghar ke bahaar hi so jaate hai.Actually kya hai na,jab bhi ghar mein koi nehi hota hai,ye teeno mere ghar ki pehredaari karte hai,to hamaara bhi to farz banta hai na ke hum bhi kuch kare to bas jaise hum bhi kabhi kabhi bahaar ka khaana khaate hai to inke liye bhi kabhi kabhi lekar aati hu.After all dogs are man's best friend,ye kabhi dhokha nehi dete hai."Mayank never thought that he would be able to see that side of a person especially from a girl and that too for street dogs.He was greatly impressed by Nupur's characteristics and so he said,"Pehle jab tumne meri help maangi thi to main soch mein par gaya ke kya kisi larki ko ghar se bhagaaane mein madat karke main koi galat kaam to nehi kar raha hu kyuki isse ek parivaar ki izzat judi hoti hai par ab main ye keh sakta hu ke jo larki jaanwaro ke baare mein itna soch sakti hai,to vo kisi insaan ke bare mein kabhi galat nehi ho sakti hai.Ab to main tumhaari madat zarur karunga."Nupur smiled and replied,"Main jaanti hu betiya ghar ki izzat hoti hai.Par Dia ke gharwaalo ki izzat,jhuti izzat hai.Kisi ki izzat uski jaan se bari nehi hoti hai.Usey bhi khush rehne ka haq hai.Usne apne ma baap ki maani thi na aur nateeja to uske gharwaalo ne bhi dekha tha.Kya hua?Bare ghar mein shaadi karne se koi sukhi nehi ho jaata.Jab vo unki maan sakti hai,to vo log kyu nehi?Aise logo ka dimaag tabhi thikaane aata hai,jab unhe davaayi ka high dose miley.Well!!Thik hai tum abhi ghar jaao.Raat ko thik 11.30 baje yaha aa jaana,main yehi ghar ke bahaar tumhaara wait karungi,vo log bhi aa jaayenge."Mayank nodded his head and then he left from there.
