Chapter-3
When the college came to know about Mayank and Nupur's dance performance everyone felt that by the end of the practice either Mayank will get mad or Nupur will kill him. They thought both Nupur and Mayank will do boxing match instead of dance on stage. Pinky, Dia and Gunjan teased Nupur to core that she has to dance with her rival that too on romantic numbers to which Nupur shouts "I am not going to romance with him but just to act and perform, understand" and leaves from there. All the girls in the college are envying Nupur for dancing with the college's hottest guy. Nupur gave a damn to them and went to her house.
Day-1
Nupur wakes up in the morning when her mother wakes her up. Nupur remembers she has to go to dance class then remembers about Mayank sits with an irritating expression 'god now I need to face that Bandar that too for 7 days, why god is punishing me like this' she groans and goes to get ready. On other side Mayank went to class with full of josh decided to tease Nupur to core and to irritate the hell out of her. Mayank stands beside Dance master by the time Nupur enters the class room, she is late by 15 minutes which her Dance master hate to core "Nupur you are late."
Nupur keeps a sorry face "Sorry sir, oh traffic jam hogaya"
Dance master "I donot like bahanas so donot give excuses next time. Come let's start the dance practice"
Mayank gives her a mocking grin as she got a good scolding's on the first day. Nupur ignores him, keeps her bag at the corner and goes to take her position. Dance master "guys we have very less time and we are performing on 3 songs, so every 2 days we will practice one song. Today we will concentrate on first song and tomorrow we will perform the whole song again with costumes so that we can complete the whole practice for the D-day… got it", dance master continues "first song is about Lust, seduction. I have chosen the song from Ashoka, just remember the lyrics carefully which will help you to give the expressions well".
Every one nods their heads and as instructed by their master all girls come around Nupur and Mayank stands at a distance noticing the dance practice of girls with a boring expression.
Actually Mayank donot want to participate in this competition but all his friends teased him that he is afraid to dance with Nupur Bhushan hurting his male ego, so he took the task as challenge but now it is boring as he has a lot of other plans with his friends to roam and enjoy in the discos. Mayank thinks 'ego per gaya naa aab buktho, god it is so boring and what are they doing' he almost started yawning when Dance master called him. Mayank comes near them and dance master shows some steps to perform and for few steps Mayank stands catching a stick he tries his best not to laugh as his dance master said to bring some seductive or lusty expressions but seeing Nupur Mayank want to laugh as Nupur could not bring the expression and the same case of Mayank. Come on they hate to face each other from last 4 years and how can they give seductive expressions looking at each other. But they tried their best but they are not up to the mark, his Dance master gave few steps and asked them to practice and left the room. The girls completed their part and left the class room leaving Nupur and Mayank to perform.
Both Mayank and Nupur did not say a single word as soon as their master left because he gave an earful to both of them for their bad expressions. Nupur and Mayank seriously started practice and in one step Nupur turns and goes where Mayank has to pull her so that she has to come making swirl and Mayank has to catch her but Mayank pulls Nupur with little more force which make Nupur swirl but her leg bends little and she completely falls on Mayank, her body comes contact with Mayank in such a way that they stand toe to toe and shoulder to shoulder, in one word they are looking like their body merged into one. They were never so close to each other, they can see their reflection in each other's eyes. 1000 volts current passed in their bodies, they both gasped loudly looking into each other's eyes, their eyes locked with each other as there bodies locked in each others arms, and they forgot the world around them. Their master's footsteps disturbed their eye lock. Mayank left Nupur and she went near her bag with bahana of drinking water. Both are trying to cool down their heart beats which are beating like they are running some marathon. Mayank thinks 'what the hell happened to you Mayank, this is not the first time you are hugging a girl then why your heart is beating like you are hugging a girl for the first time and moreover Nupur is not your girl, she is… she is your rival, yes I hate her remember that' and he drinks his water. On other side Nupur thinks 'what's wrong with me, I gave so many performances with Sumer and sometimes accidents happen, I never felt like this before but why am I feeling weird, god what is this feeling'
Dance master asked them to perform from start and this time their expressions came out well, we cannot say perfect but yes they improved. Both thought the other person is acting but that is not the case. Mayank for the first time observed Nupur from head to toe, Mayank 'god she has a se*y figure which can compete in some fashion field, why the hell I did not observe this before' his eyes travels throw the length of her body and stops at her lips for few seconds and then reaches her eyes. Nupur follows his eye moment and she knows where his eyes are travelling, they are checking her out, Nupur felt like she is trapped. She felt shy suddenly but not uncomfortable which came as a shock for her. When his eyes stops at her lips unknowingly she parted her lips with a gasp and when their eyes met they remain captivate. Dance master is satisfied with their dance and expressions "good, well done. Tomorrow after practice in second half we will have costume rehearsals of this song and day after tomorrow we will start second song. If you both want to stay for some more time to practice can stay or can leave."
Both said at the same time that they want to leave because they cannot believe themselves alone without making fool of themselves. Nupur starts on her scooty pep still thinking about the 'accident', she shakes her head and decides not to thinking too much into it, she reaches her favourite spot to have chat and orders her regular chat, she stops on tracks when she hear a familiar voice ordering for chat from other side. She bends her head to other side to see the person as Mayank Sharma and at the same time the person turns to notice Nupur standing other side little bend and trying to see him.
Mayank couldnot stop his laugh says "kya huvaa dance kartha kartha neck attak kaya kya", a rush of angry hits her nerve in her brain, Nupur stands straight and glares at Mayank saying "I think you forgot your way to disco. Ya chat saab kana tum jaise naazuk logon ki baski baat nahin hain"
Mayank comes near to her and shows his strong arms as if mocking at her says "hum kitna naazuk hain can show you by lifting and throwing you on my shoulders" Nupur did not even blink her eyes as he is moving forward glaring at her, she folder her one hand and shows his arms with one hand saying "I am not talking about that but-" points to his stomach says "mineral water bottle pe jine walon ko isse thara ka chat hasam nahin hota" completes with a mocking grin. Mayank "mein-" both are cut by the vendor saying chat is ready.
Both give an angry look and goes to have their chat. After that both goes on their way. Nupur goes directly to her room as she has no mood to talk with anyone while passing the living room she see some hindi movie is playing on TV and her sister is watching the TV with full concentration, Nupur shakes her head and before moving away observed the scene where heroin falls on hero. The scene makes Nupur remember the 'accident' happened in the dance class, she suddenly become disturbed. Nupur thinks 'maybe I am looking too much into the incident, just relax and have good sleep everything will be fine. Tomorrow is a new day and one day gone only 6 more days to go'.
