Nupur tried searching for gunjan everywhere. And stopped outside an empty classroom when a familiar voice said,"chashmish, yeh cheating hain."

Gunjan giggled and said,"kya cheating hain maine koi waada nahin kiya tha."

"of course tumne promise kiya tha ki agar sab kuch teek hojaata hai tho hum date pe chal lenge."

Nahin

"ab MN ki shaadi hogayi hai, bauji tumse naaraz nahin hain , tum college aa sakthi ho, mujhse mil sakthi ho...tho date pe hum jaayenge."

" suhaani kaisi hai? Uski aur adhiraj ki beech ki galatfamian..."

"oh god. Chashmish tum kya saari duniya ki problems solve hone tak date pe nahin jaaogi." Gunjan hit him on the shoulder.

"suhaani tumhari behen hai aur tumhare liye itna kuch karti hai. Jab woh khush nahi hain, tho.."

'my dear chashmish, adhiraj suhaani se kuch baat karnewaala hai.usne muje aur mayank ko bataya. Tho woh bohot khush hai. Ab kisi aur ki khushi ke bare mein socho. Tumne waada kiya tha ki hum mere farmhouse pe jjaayenge."

Clapping her hands," kitni achha lagega suhaani ko. Lekin samrat hum kuch din baad chale. Abhi abhi di ki shaadi ...," samrat makes a face." Matlab shaadi to hogayi par ghar ka maahol kuch acchha nahin lagtha. Bauji kuch zyaada sochne lage hai. Chup chap rehthe hain. "

"chashmish, unki kehne ke baad hi shaadi hui thi."

"par unhe koi aur raastha nahin mila . zis tarike se ...chodo samrat. Gussa hai tho gussa hain. Is hafthe chachaji aur bauji dono bahar jaayenge tab shayad unko behtar lagega. Yehi rehthe unko hamesha apni bezathi ki yaad aayegi."

"tum nupur se mili thi?"

"nahin, subah se class aur library main thi. Kyun?"

"bas sise hi..ab chalein? Par weekend ko farmhouse jaana hain." Gunjan teasingly shook her head.

Nupur hid behind a pillar and let them pass. Her head swirled with what she had heard. She had to meet mayank.

MN house

Pata nahin kab ayega ghar. Mujse tho jaldi ghar jaane ko kehdiya. Aur baat bhi nahin kiya.

Mayank had been forced to stay back in college for some work with princi and he hadn't come home . it was 8 in the night. Nupur hadn't been able to tell him anything as princi was also in the library. She had come back home and propped herself on the cane sofa , various thoughts running in her head.

Mujhe bura kis baat pe lag raha hai? Gunjan se mili bhi nahin. Usne tho kahan ki ghar aayegi

Par aayi tho nahin na. Usko tho jo bauji karte hain, wahi sahi hai. Who bhi tho mere saath aaj ghar aa sakthi thi.

She got up and started walking round the room arranging the cushions. for the 100th time

Gunjan hai! Itna darthi hai bauji se! Aur tum kyun bhala bura soch rahi ho. Sab ne tumhe kya bola hai- khush raho.

The bell rang. She ran and opened the door to find adhiraj standing in front of her.

"hi nupur. ," then observing her disappointed expression," kisiko aana tha? Mayank kaha hai?'

"nahi pata.matlab abhi college se nahin aaya hai.kuch chahiye tha?"

"mein wait karu uska," he walked in and sat on the sofa and looking around, smiled" achha lag raha haina ghar."

She sat opposite to him hardly bothered about what he was saying.

"aaj main tumhare bauji aur chachaji se mila. Sab ke saamne bol nahin paya college mein."

She looked at him with little more interest.

"unse sorry bola. Meri galathi ke liye. Unhone kuch kaha nahin. Shayad abhi gussa utra nahin hain." He said smiling.

"bauji ko tumpe koi gussa nahin hoga.tum tho sabka pyaar sa achha sa laadle babloo ho. Gussa sirf mere upar hai. Ki maine mayank jaise ladke ko apni zindagi mein unki marzi ke bina shamil kiya." Adhiraj noticed the bitterness in her voice but before he could ask her anything else, she got up and said,"adhiraj, mera sar mein dard hai aur mujhe sona hai. Tum yahan aaye kyun?" almost rudely.

"sorry nupur. Tumhe disturb nahin karna tha. Woh mera aaj suhaani se milne ka plan tha. Waha nahin hai ,maine socha yahan ek baar dekhloo. "

Nupur remembered dia saying- wait watch something.

"woh shayad dia ki saath hai. "

"shayad. Samrat bhi dia ki ghar mein hi hai."

As she continued to look distracted, he asked her,"are you ok? Main Mayank aane tak

rukhu ?"

forcing a smile," nahin. Bas sar mein dard hai.tum jao."

Adhiraj left her sitting alone on the sofa lost to the world.. he waited near the main gate and debated whether to call mayank when he saw Mayank coming.
