He turned and drove away quickly . Both the brothers stared after him, one amazed at his guts and another feeling nupur had lost someone so wonderful.

Adhiraj felt relieved that he had said sorry to someone. If only he had not agreed to get married to Nupur to spite all of them!!! If only he had spoken to his dad about cancelling the wedding !!! but he was blinded. Blinded by his feelings for suhaani, so much that by the time he looked around, Nupurs life was a mess. All he had thought then was how much he was trying to hurt suhaani. Well he had ended up hurting more than her now. But he would make it up to all of them now. He would stand by them especially Mayank come what may.

And Suhaani, well. It didn't look like she actually meant any word of that hate letter, did she? No , bilkul nahi. Maybe usne bhi meri hi tarah galthi ki, he thought his hopes rising when he remembered her behavior the past 24 hours and he smiled to himself.

Excel College-

MN hurried to the staff room that morning as Mayank was supposed to start his work that day and he had to meet Shukla Sir about the same. They heard loud laughs from the staff room

as mayank entered and nupur waited for him outside cluthing her end of dupatta .

"good morning Nupur." Princi was smiling at her,"yahaan kyun kadhi ho. Chalo ander chalo." He gestured to the staffroom and went in followed by a reluctant Nupur.

"Hello Mayank." , he said ," tho, tum apne kaam jaane aye ho? Kuch zyaada nahin hoga. Apne padhayi library mein hi khatam kardena kaam ke saath. Tho Nupur, kaisi ho?"

Nupur smiled hesitantly. thinking 'abhi tak tho achhi thi, ander kyun bulaya?'

"Kyun mahodaya, aapne apni vivaah mein apne shikshakon ko nahin bulayi?" shukla sir added with mock annoyance.

Both MN exchanged glances. While they were sure everyone knew what had happened, it was embarrassing them no end standing in front of their professors and getting teased.

Friends were different but teachers?!!!

"Shukla Sir, abhi hamara bets inko batade kya?" , Deodhar sir added.

Bets kya bets?

"haan haan kyun nahin ? lekin woh bets nahin hai. Hum bas waarthalaap kar rahe the." Shukla Sir replied.

"Tho bholo Mayank, ye tum logon ka love story Shukla Sir ki wajah se shuru hua ya Deodhar ki wajah se " princi asked in a semi serious tone.

"sir matlab..."mayank stammered and exchanged baffled glances with Nupur.

All three started laughing at the looks on their faces.

"matlab yeh ki tumhari story meri Ahmedabad ki competition ki time pe shuru hua tha..." deodhar sir asked when interrupted by Shukla Sir added," mera man na hai ki aap ki yeh prem kahaani meri project se shuru hua tha."

Both stood still shocked, nupur digesting what her teachers were betting about and mayank wondering if he was with Uday and Benji instead of his esteemed professors.

All three continued to laugh forcing the two students to finally smile in awkwardness of the situation.

"Ok , chalo. Class ka time hogaya." Princi got up from his chair and on getting a parcel from Shukla sir , " haan yeh main bhulgaya. Yeh aap dono ke wedding gift hamare taraf se." Princi handed Mayank a small wrapped parcel.

Stunned and touched at this gesture, Nupurs eyes moistened while Mayank forced himself to say," aap ne mujhe college mein waapas leke bahut...Thanks sir."

"Khush raho." Princi smiled and shook their hands. After thanking the other two , MN walked out with the parcel held tightly in Nupurs hand . Neither could immediately talk. They held hands and subconsciously went to their classroom.

Mayank knew he was a favourite student and had always been scared that his relationship with Nupur would not be approved by them. It would hamper his studies and make him lose his focus , they would ve thought. He would never let them down. Not his mother who supported him inspite of his mistakes and not his teachers who was concerned about his wellbeing. He would keep his goals in sight.

Nupur could not understand why the teachers were nice to her unless it was because of mayank. Anyone would be impressed with him.and not just because he was a good student.

'woh tho sachha aur nek ladka hain. Uski help nahin karenge tho kisko karenge? Meri khushnasibhi ki yeh mujse pyaar kartha hain. Gunjan ko jab bataungi tab use yakin nahin ayega. waise shukla sir ka idea nahin hoga, principal sir ne hi diya hoga. ' shaking it slowly,she tried to find out what was inside disturbing half the class which stared at her irritatedly. Mayank pulled it out of her hands, put it in his bag and smiled apologetically at the others, shaking his head at Suhaani s questioning look.
