Excel college ' the steps behind the library-the whole gang is sitting except mayank and gunjan. Mayank has gone to find out from lalitha about a place to stay and collecting some of his and his mothers stuff which they had left in lalitha s house before leaving for Bangalore. The rest are waiting for him to come back.

Benji is trying to get nupur to talk about what- happened- last- night. Nupur is blushing but ignoring all his questions. She is waiting for gunjan to come.

Sam, uday, dia and suhaani are all laughing at benji s attempt.

Adhiraj is sitting a little away watching the gang and marvelling at their friendship. once in a way his eye catches suhaani and his heart, inspite of her hate you letter, misses a beat.

"mujhe yeh samaj mein nahin aata ki tum dono sam ki ghar pe kyun nahin reh sakthe." Benji says

"aur samaj mein bhi nahin aayega." Sam answers him but repeats the question to nupur,"lekin nupur tum log meri outhouse mein kyun nahin rehna chahthe? "

Nupur shrugs and says,"mayank se poochon"

"ooohhhooo. Mayank se poochon,"benji imitates her,"perfect bharathiya naari!!"

Everyone s laughing. Mayank comes and they all start asking him things together.

"please guys. Saans lene to do. Mujhe ek jagah mili hai lekin door hai aur expensive bhi. Main kal tak unse time maang ke agaya." He looked at nupur. She realised he was really worried.

"tumhe paise baant na hi hai, tho mujhe hi dedo. Meri outhouse ke liye rent do , college ki paas bhi hoga aur sab saath mein bhi reh sakthe hai." Samrat tells mayank.

"haan mayank, kitna mazaa ayaga. Tum log bilkul bhai ki ghar ke peeche hi rahoge." Suhaani added excitedly.

"haan mayank aur advance ki paise bhi bach jaayenge." Benji said.

"i don't know guys, kuch teek nahin lagtha. Already tum ne hamre liye itna..."

"yeh thank you speech bol raha hain kya?", uday asked munching his packet of chips.

"tum meri ghar chalo. Mein to aap logon ka dost tho hoon nahin, tho mayank tum mere ghar reh sakthe ho." Adhiraj said with a hint of sarcasm.

Everyone stared at him and nupur, who has been quiet all this while says," nahin," sharply and immediately lowering her tone," thanks adhiraj par..." and placing her hand on mayanks arm," mayank maan jaoon na. Tumhari naukri to milgayi hain.."

Looking at the earnestness in her eyes, mayank realises that she wants to be with them , unable to say no to her , he turns towards samrat and nods affirmatively.

"Thank god. Lekin mayank yeh tho complete partiality hain. "dia smiles at him, " aur adhiraj agar tum hamare dost nahin hote tho tum yahaan mayank ki wait nahin kar rahe hote."

"tho chalo, kal aur parso holiday hain and mayank woh ghar thodi si clean karni padegi. Waise dia, yeh chashmish kaha gayi.abhi tak aayi kyun nahin?" sam looks at dia questioningly. Dia shrugs. Nupur s face falls.

Excel college ' outside-gunjan and bui come in a gadi. Getting out of the gadi, gunjan is about to call samrat to ask him where everyone is when she spots Nupur and Dia walking towards them with two bags in their hands. Gunjan runs to Nupur , hugs her and fresh tears, albeit of relief , start flowing from her eyes. With both her hands holding the plastic bags of the wedding clothes, Nupur is not able to hug her back.

Gunjan moves back ," di tum mujse naaraz ho? Woh main subah se tumse baat hi nahin kar paayi. Bauji ma..."stops herself from saying mana kar rahe the.

"bauji kya gunjan?", nupur

"nupur," bui calls her. Nupur who was so happy to see gunjan that she hadn't noticed bui, now sees her . her eyes brighten for a second but immediately harden remembering that it was bui who started everything in the first place.She doesn't respond to bui.

Bui moving forward , strokes Nupurs head, saying," bilkul mujhpe gayi ho tum! Ab gussa chod de Nupur. Tumhari shaadi ho chuki hai."

"aap hi ki wajah se bui," Nupur answers back roughly. Bui removes her hand . Gunjan and Dia are shocked. While Nupur has always been naughty, none of them remember her being disrespectful to elders especially to bui.

"haan meri hi wajah se. Lekin us se jisko tumne pasand kiya. Bhagwan ka shukriyada karo . " nupur is about to talk back when bui holds up a finger silencing her and continues," ki tumhe jo chahiye tha, woh mila. dekh nupur, jo hua so hua. In sab mein shayad hum sab ki galti kahin na kahin thi, meri, bhaiyya ki, tumhari, mayank ki.."

" mayank ki KOI galati nahin thi aur nahi kabhi hogi." Nupur interrupted her mher voice slightly raised. Gunjan was again shocked.

Bui sighs ," tum abhi bohot gusse mein ho. Chalo chodo in sab baton ko. Hum yahan tumhara kuch saaman leke aaye the, tumhare kapde, kitaab aur shaadi me jo saaman dete hai woh bhi. "

Nupur though slightly touched by this gesture, " mujhe kuch nahin chahiye."

"chup kar. Kapde nahin legi tho kya har din apne shaadi ki jode main ghoomegi. Chup chap se bolo ki yeh sab kaha rakhwana hai . aur tumhara gussa apne naakh par rehne do. Mujhe dikhane ki koi zaroorat nahin hai" bui says sharply.

"bilkul teek kaha aapne bui.", mayank has been listening to the whole conversation. nupur looks daggers at him, but he ignores her and continues," nupur ka gussa naakh se abhi kaan, gaal sab jagah pahunch gaya hai. Aur jo samaan aap lekar aayi ho, woh sab mujhe dedijiye. "

Bui s eyes moistens. She curses herself mentally for not trying to understand the relationship between MN before , for not understanding mayank before.

"mayank mujhe.."nupur starts to be cut off by mayank who looks at her tenderly but in a stern tone says," Nupur, atleast tum apne clothes aur books lelo. Baaki sab kuch rehne do. Kyun bui?"

Bui nods and walks towards Nupur," dekh Nupur...tum abhi apne nayi jeevan shuru karne jaarahi ho. Is rishte ko apni ander ki kadwahat se barbaad mat hone dena.koi bhi kaam jiska shuruaat achha hota hai, woh hamesha kaamiyaab hota hai. Main jaanthi hoon tum badi hogayi ho, lekin mere liye shayad tum log sab...,"she stops as her voice threatens to break.

Dia and gunjan move involuntarily forward to touch her arms but Nupurs hand reaches her arm first. bui has been mother figure for all the bhushan kids. Nupur never remembers seeing her weak and suddenly doesn't want to see any more changes now. She knows bui loves all of them and has maintained the family together with both brothers being constantly away on business and both the mothers not being alive. Nupur hugs bui. All of them hug with varying degrees of tears in their eyes.

Mayank smiles and starts transferring the stuff to Dia s gadi.

"Bui , main kya maa jitni badi hogayi hoon?" nupur asks her . she had always wanted to be as tall- badi as her mom. But she had always been on the shorter side.

All of them laugh ," paagal ladki. Nahin bhabhi tumse hamesha se aur bhi badi thi. Par unke shaadi ka joda tum pe bohot sunder lag raha tha."

"achha, joda sunder lag raha tha? Aur main?", nupur pouted.

"Bandar lag rahi thi."bui

As Dia and Gunjan start laughing, nupur pulled herself away from the group hug and stared at them angrily.

By then, Mayank who had finished his work asked if they could leave .

Still with a smile bui says, "haan beta, chalo. Gunjan tum bhi jao. Dia aur Uday ke saath wapas aana. Nupur , " Nupur went and hugged bui, " khush raho". Bui looks at Mayank ,over nupur s head ,he smiles at her reassuringly. She pats his shoulder and drives back.

Nupur turns to her sisters threateningly asks them," tho main shaadi ki jode mein Bandar lag rahin thi?"

" kisne kaha?," mayank asks surprised ," tum tho har film ki heroine se bhi achhi lag rahin thi. really beautiful " and walks off towards the car.

Nupur blushes deeply at the sudden unexpected compliment, while Dia and Gunjan look at her teasingly and start giggling again.
