as she walked away feeling a little lost that he had let her go, she heard him say," yahaan ka bhi light off kardena." And immediately felt her face which was already pink, burn with a sudden shyness.
She turned and found mayank standing right behind her. Before she could avoid him, his eyes met hers. She couldn't look away and after a moment she didn't want to. she knew he wouldnt make any moves if she didnt want to...but then she did want to. She moved closer to him at the same time that he put his hands out placing them on her waist . standing up on her toes , she placed a kiss on his forehead, both her hands on his chest. She moved her hands slowly up to his shoulders and kissed his eyes, first one and then the other.
"nupur, tumhara foot mein sprain hain," mayank reminded her in a soft voice.
She stood back on her feet and he lifted her up , his arms circling her knees.
He carried her to the front room , with nupur switching of the lights on the way . he then let her slide down slowly onto the bed, both of them smiling slightly , their smiles reflected on each others faces ,by the single light in the front room.
Nupur sat on the edge of the bed , her head slightly bent , shivering a little as mayank, his hand holding hers, sat next to her and removed her band letting her hair open. He ran his hands through her long , though slightly neglected , hair and stopped with his hand behind her ear, his fingers alternately between her hair and her earlobes. She closed her eyes at his caressing and let all her hesitations go.
Nupur lay on her back her hair splayed behind her head , mayank next to her on his side. He stroked her arm with his fingers, while placing kisses on her forehead and on her cheeks, on her eyes , nose and jawline. she felt herself trembling involuntarily as he reached her earlobe and turned her head to the other side . he kissed her on the neck and entwined his fingers with hers. she returned the pressure of his fingers and turned her face towards him again looking at him in anticipation.
He abruptly moved back and freed his fingers from hers. She looked down at her hand that he had been holding and getting confused at his withdrawal, looked at him questioningly placing her hand on his cheek.
She gave him a KYA..look
He however shifted his position closer and added almost in her ear," aur phir tumhe calm bhi mujh ko hi karna padega."
Nupur , whose heartbeats were still not back to normal, pulled him closer by his vest and said," mr mayank Sharma, tumhe maine kya stop karne ke liye permission diya hai? "
Catching the grin on his face now, she started laughing , her bubbling laughter mingling with his joyful laugh. She put her arms around him, hugged him close , her hands in his hair and his face in the crook of her neck, his lips just below her ear and his arm around her waist ...
