@Chill out, sorry man I just read your comment, thanks a lot!
Sunshineeee, wow thats so true, even i was thinking about actors a long while ago, in particular about Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, what they do in their personal lives is never discussed much even if it is, they aren't abused mercilessly, please bear with the harsh words Sunshine but then the way fans stoop low for some actors, like on the blog and abuse on a personal level is so sad. Actors can only choose to ignore i guess!I agree, we feel more close and connect much more to telly actors. Movie stars are just movie stars and wow so cool and hot but not one of us but actors and the characters they play, we start finding ourselves in them and relate, relate and continue relating as we watch them for years and so some attachment is inevitable. But Sunshine a line has to be drawn where it hurts and if we are doing something which would like being done to ourselves then we need to think.I am glad we have this forum and as at least some post where people discuss rather than just drool and merely mock other members and their choices and views! At times i feel how i wish only some people could read what i have to say on this forum and not all, it keeps me happy and possibly they can continue drooling and believing whatever. The pms i get even now, can you believe it some fan who is so obsessed has to sent me a pm just a while back, get a life man!
I am aware of that Ritu. You know Ranbir Kapoor has been having quite a few girls in his life and so the general view of the public just got reaffirmed but then you know at the end of the day, some hit movie of Ranbir Kapoor would come and all fans would be back on drooling, like the class of fans who apparently claim to dislike him for being a casanova! The same is for the actresses. This industry has one good thing, a good movie and hardwork does change the focus!
But here in telly, the focus doesn't change, the same linkups would be seen for months and yearss even after the actor is married and has kids with someone else.
Butterfly, 🤗

Actors can only choose to ignore i guess!I do agree to a certain extent to some comments, that the media and PR use of selling the actor as a product has backfired on them, well actually it is the actor that takes the 'heat.' I too wish for the good old days, where it was an actor's performance and not personal preferences that made him a star. It is sad to know that some 'actors' now protect their 'product' over their performances. Demanding change in scripts so that a 'product' is left untainted. That is why I love Aamir, a fine actor who has elevated his talent to a level that I regard him an artist.I agree, we feel more close and connect much more to telly actors. Movie stars are just movie stars and wow so cool and hot but not one of us but actors and the characters they play, we start finding ourselves in them and relate, relate and continue relating as we watch them for years and so some attachment is inevitable. We all feel 'closer' to tv stars, as we stated because we see them develop in front of us, over years, like a plant, a child or a friend. That closeness means we feel we can 'interact' with those 'vessels' as if we had been present in the room of all the scenes we witnesses, so that the credits of DMG and MJHT should have our names added too, starring Sabah as 'spectator' 'well wisher' admirer' 'secretly in love but fails to confess...ok truly digressing now😆) You get my point.
The issue is that people then think I can interact on a personal level and so they do. That is how those people talk, act and behave with people in THEIR lives. It is not just the actor, but their friends, their mother, their father, their post man etc.
When I hear of a 'fan' and their comments I shudder, not on behalf of the actor, because like you said, they can choose to ignore, but because I think that is the same tongue, mind and heart they use to engage every other person too.
The issue isn't actually about the actor's privacy BUT the fan's personality. We should not be spending time debating the actor's rights, what we should do to protect them BUT rather we should try to guide the fan, gently kindly protect them from themselves.I am glad we have this forum and as at least some post where people discuss rather than just drool and merely mock other members and their choices and views! True it hurts to be the 'victim' of such a heart, but that person has to live with that heart. It is harder for them.
I quote my most favourite quote, Gandhi, as used in MJHT by Gunjan, (i love that show!) 'Be the change you want in this world.'
Love your amoeba. 😳
