Yeah Senny, no matter how professionalism works for actors, the controversial always end up being bashed and then later the same actor becomes the "mean and bad" one 🤔

I know man, but then there are some good and bad sides to each profession, i just hope the actors deal or and learn to deal with such fans or fanatics as they become :( If actors would do that, at least their minds would be at ease and they won't hate choosing their profession and being questioned for their choices.

Thank you butterfly for informing me of this thread.

I have read a few posts, and I am relieved that actors can feel safe from some level headed fans, if not all. 😆

You know I do fear that if I were to ever met Arjun I would undoubtedly call him Mayank. (Rati Nupur, Sanaya Gunjan) It would be unkind and rude. Discourteous indeed, but in truth, I know Mayank, I do not know Arjun, as much as anyone 'can' know another. I guess the most appropriate would be to call him Mr bijlani. but then I 'feel' like I know him better. In truth I do not!

I digress.

Everything has been said, so if I may add another layer. Why is it that film actors seem to not fall prey to such violations. Shah Rukh remains Shah Rukh never Raj! Also people give more lee way to film actors rather than tv, so that if say a tv actor commits adultery, it may ruin him BUT if a film actor does so it may even add to his playboy status. (please no specifics, I only want to talk in the general, no implications or inferences intended or asked for)

I have my own theory, but I think it is to do with the detailing that TV shows allow. We see a character, learn about him, like any other person we might meet in real life. Whereas in Films, we only get a glimpse for a few moments. Our hearts may get attached, but in truth we know that we fill in a lot of blanks.

Once a person commented that we can not help but become enamoured by film stars, distanced to them, that respectful barrier, because we see these giant ten foot sized versions of them. How could we fail to be in awe? Whereas tv actors remain 'smaller' therefore nearer to us, people like us, so that these entities that can be dissected and devoured!

Love Sabah😃

Hey dear A very nice n Sensible Article....................👍🏼I agree with It and I agree with U also...............

I also believe that Fans are suffocating actors with too much demands and interfering too much in their personal life............fans should learn to distinguish between reel n real life...................Acting is an actors profession like any other profession.......when an actor is acting in a show or movie that is reel life ..He/She is just acting ie doing his Job just performing a character which he is playing in a show....An actor is just acting in the show but outside reel life their is a real life also ...and reel n real life of any actor is Different......and real life is an actors personal life........and Noone has a right 2 interfere in their personal life ..An actors personal life is just Private.......and we all should not interfere too much in their private lives. An actor is also a human being like us all and if somebody interferes in our private life too much we wouldnot like it also....so why do we all interfere too much in any actors private life...........we should give them space n privacy in their real life.........I know we are their fans and they all r stars so we want 2 know about their professional n private life..........I can understand this being a fan.........But curiousity is one thing.. every one gets curious and wants 2 know about their favourite stars But But too too much curiousity is called interference n Hindrance and obsession and this is not good...Curiousity is fine but Obsession is not at all Okay...............and their should be a limit 2 interfering in and being curious about ur favourite stars personal life..........Infact we all should realise this in our life also that we all have 2 set a limit 2 interfering too much in any ones life ..as now-a-days Noone likes too much Interference in their private life............everyone loves privacy................

Infact professional life is also personal and we should realise an artist knows whats good for him/her in his profession , what show he/she should do and what he shouldnot do..........And every Actor has the right to Grow in his Field and Improve his skills of acting and GroW*H in acting is very very Important 4 any actor and we shouldnot Hinder any Actors Acting groW*H by demanding too much and being an hindrance in His/her professional life also....and Actor knows whats Good 4 him more then us all...and if we r true fans we should all respect an actors personal and professional life decisions........ and we should stop suffocating our Favourite stars ....as loving is one thing But too much interference and too much love is suffocating and Every one needs space in life.............So we should behave like Adults n give the actors their Privacy n Space.......................................................

As reel life is totally different from real life and Fans should learn to distinguish between reel n real life of an actor.................................We should remember Real life is Private............and An actor is also simple Human like us all and an actor has the Complete right like us all to decide what He/She wants to share about his private n professional life and with whom and upto what extent....................and we should respect our favourites decision in life................and Stop Interfering too much.........................

Gunjan........................

@Chill out, sorry man I just read your comment, thanks a lot!

Sunshineeee, wow thats so true, even i was thinking about actors a long while ago, in particular about Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, what they do in their personal lives is never discussed much even if it is, they aren't abused mercilessly, please bear with the harsh words Sunshine but then the way fans stoop low for some actors, like on the blog and abuse on a personal level is so sad. Actors can only choose to ignore i guess!

I agree, we feel more close and connect much more to telly actors. Movie stars are just movie stars and wow so cool and hot but not one of us but actors and the characters they play, we start finding ourselves in them and relate, relate and continue relating as we watch them for years and so some attachment is inevitable. But Sunshine a line has to be drawn where it hurts and if we are doing something which would not like being done to ourselves then we need to think.

I am glad we have this forum and as at least some post where people discuss rather than just drool and merely mock other members and their choices and views! At times i feel how i wish only some people could read what i have to say on this forum and not all, it keeps me happy and possibly they can continue drooling and believing whatever. The pms i get even now, can you believe it some fan who is so obsessed has to sent me a pm just a while back, get a life man!

I am aware of that Ritu. You know Ranbir Kapoor has been having quite a few girls in his life and so the general view of the public just got reaffirmed but then you know at the end of the day, some hit movie of Ranbir Kapoor would come and all fans would be back on drooling, like the class of fans who apparently claim to dislike him for being a casanova! The same is for the actresses. This industry has one good thing, a good movie and hardwork does change the focus!

But here in telly, the focus doesn't change, the same linkups would be seen for months and yearss even after the actor is married and has kids with someone else.

I used to like ranbir, anjana-anjani did well but fans r not drooling over him that much, according to survey , popularity gone down.. but he is talented 😕. b.. my favourites changes according to time and their talent.. latest crush imran per hai 😆 i never knew fans r so crazy about actors persoanl life mainly tv industry until i joined this forum ... Believe me u cannot blame fans only .. blame goes to actors too when they mislead their fans.. and media per to pura blame.. sometime they show news directly about actors without any prooof.. we have seen it ..

Actors can only choose to ignore i guess!I do agree to a certain extent to some comments, that the media and PR use of selling the actor as a product has backfired on them, well actually it is the actor that takes the 'heat.' I too wish for the good old days, where it was an actor's performance and not personal preferences that made him a star. It is sad to know that some 'actors' now protect their 'product' over their performances. Demanding change in scripts so that a 'product' is left untainted. That is why I love Aamir, a fine actor who has elevated his talent to a level that I regard him an artist.

I agree, we feel more close and connect much more to telly actors. Movie stars are just movie stars and wow so cool and hot but not one of us but actors and the characters they play, we start finding ourselves in them and relate, relate and continue relating as we watch them for years and so some attachment is inevitable. But Sunshine a line has to be drawn where it hurts and is not something which would like being done to ourselves.Butterfly, it is not about drawing lines, it is about people's hearts. We all feel 'closer' to tv stars, as we stated because we see them develop in front of us, over years, like a plant, a child or a friend. That closeness means we feel we can 'interact' with those 'vessels' as if we had been present in the room of all the scenes we witnesses, so that the credits of DMG and MJHT should have our names added too, starring Sabah as 'spectator' 'well wisher' admirer' 'secretly in love but fails to confess...ok truly digressing now😆) You get my point.

The issue is that people then think I can interact on a personal level and so they do. That is how those people talk, act and behave with people in THEIR lives. It is not just the actor, but their friends, their mother, their father, their post man etc.

When I hear of a 'fan' and their comments I shudder, not on behalf of the actor, because like you said, they can choose to ignore, but because I think that is the same tongue, mind and heart they use to engage every other person too.

The issue isn't actually about the actor's privacy BUT the fan's personality. We should not be spending time debating the actor's rights, what we should do to protect them BUT rather we should try to guide the fan, gently kindly protect them from themselves.

I am glad we have this forum and as at least some post where people discuss rather than just drool and merely mock other members and their choices and views! At times i feel how i wish only some people could read what i have to say on this forum and not all, it keeps me happy and possibly they can continue drooling and believing whatever. The pms i get even now, can you believe it some fan who is so obsessed has to sent me a pm just a while back, get a life man!Butterfly, people are caged by themselves. True it hurts to be the 'victim' of such a heart, but that person has to live with that heart. It is harder for them.

I quote my most favourite quote, Gandhi, as used in MJHT by Gunjan, (i love that show!) 'Be the change you want in this world.'

Love your amoeba. 😳
