Thank you for sharing. I think that might be a 'global' favourite. I personally preferred it when Mayank said it, Nupur ka asar. 😃Love Sabah

its like really difficult to post all gems we had in two yrs...True, but some have that special place above the others, depending upon our own understanding and diversities.
firstly when mayank used to be this isolated guy into his books, he had some of the awesome-est dialogues of the world 😆, esp with Dia, Uday 😆, like the following one 😆

(2.06-4.56)

Sometimes it was just his attitude, here outside the men's loo, that stare that reminds his peers of their deficiencies in so many respects @ 1:58 and again at 3:54 (technically not a line but I am sneaking it in under those unsaid yet spoken lines, Mayank's stare more than a 'who do you think you are?' BUT RATHER more a 'I know who I am, do you know who you are?

Gang discussing plan of their apparent party in gala, chan choo choo cha blah blah blah, who has to do wat in the part😆, so dia says rather whispers shut up dodo, dheerey bolo warna jinhey nahi pat lagna chahiye unhey bhi pata lag jayega....enter mayank sharma 😆 hitting dodo on his head (🤣) pichley aadhey ghantey sey tum log apney party plan itni baar discuss ker chukey ho, ki mujhe exactly pata hai ki kisey kya kab karna hai 🤣 🤣 🤣 [=)]

Later Dia asks tum party mein to nahi a rahey na, to which he gives a wide smile 😆 tumharey party mein diya, thoda bachpana sa lagega, but u guys carry on, woh kya hai ki na kuch log thodey derr sey badey hotey hai 🤣 🤣 🤣.....and he left uday wondering yeh kya bol key gaya 😆

Ah! That Dia Mayank chemistry. I loved this one too @2:36
D: Mayank, bolo kahan se bol rahai ho?
M: Mein toh bachpan se mou se bolta hun.

Diva Dia, gives as goods as she gets, screams NUPUR into the phone. Excellent.

Then that conversation between them, a year or so later, @4:10 Of course that truth that tests bring fruits but it is the fruits that Mayank picks for Dia that I love, very well written.

d:Mathlab?
M: Accha yeh hua, Tumharey closest friend dobara tumhare paas aagaye. Accha ye hua, tum apnay family ko zaada acche se samaj lagi ho, aur woh tumhe. AUR accha ye hua, tumhare paas ek chance hai, naahi friends banane mein.

Simply amazing post Sabah!! I usually don't get enough time to check the forum and posts, but yeah this one really caught my attention!!

MJHT's dialogues sometimes have been too lame, but only sometimes, rather most of the times its dialogues of show which made me so connected to this serial and MN. Seriously since the day one Nupur's by God. from 2nd episode of MJHT what attracted me to MJHT was Mayank's sarcastic chat with Dia, udhay, Samrat in canteen. I was like OMG this guy have really something special abt him. One of the MOST prominent and top most reason I love Mayank is coz of his dialogues. That sarcastic tone and proud attitude of his!!!😎

I would never be able to list out the lines, dialogues I like of MN. I mean they are just too many yaar!! I don't even know from where to start and on which to end!!😆

Their talks during the first few scenes, when Nupur was first locked up in washroom and then their encounter in class room. The times when he took her to beach, and new year party, when they were locked in lucky mishra's home, the barn scene, holy scenes, that dill se sorry, play rehersal (the dialogues which can make anyone's heart go for these two), the historic confession, the post confession sweet and bit hesitated chats with shyness of both with feeling of knowing they both are in love, even 2nd confession, Morena track, pre marriage meeting and kal ho na ho sequence, post marriage promises and faith, dealing with problem coming in way of their marriage life, Intazaar sequence and their oaths during their 2nd marriage, umm like it was shown this way, and then Nupur's come back, their confession again, those heart touching moments........ These are just FEW i mentioned. Apart these there are just tooooooooo manyyyyy that I can even tell how much they have affected me and love this couple beyond limits. ❤️

These were some emotional part, but their fights, their sarcastic comments for each other, their so many usual chats in college, before and after falling in love, and after marriage, whenever i watch those scenes they left in aww, and incredulous at the writers of these dialogues. And remember how Mayank used to get irritated by Nupur's calling everyone, bhaiya, aunty etc.🤣

OK i would like to mention this one here, while working in Samrat's case when Mayank told Nupur,

"Mujh se naraz mat hoa karo, bhaley hi main keh nahi pata hun, but main bhi buhat hurt hota hun."

How sweetly he said these words!!! so much depth of Mayank's character in them!! and when he said once

"ham dono jo aik dosre k liye feel kertey hain wo buhat hi pure hai, aur wo sab yeh samajh nahi payien ge...... mera matlab hai k jab college main aik larka aur aik larki sath hotey hain tuh unn pe kayi tarha key jokes bantey hain, aur main nahi chahta k tun kisi bhi joke ka part bano"

Whenever i think abt Mayank and Nupur, these line make me respect their relationship and each other value for them!! Seriously I can't even describe here in words what i feel for them and what they have become for me through all this time. Though you watch MN scene 100000 times you won't even get over and fed up of them, always you will want more and more and even more!!!

And yes not to forget Mayank and Shilpa aunty relationship has always been my 2nd fav in MJHT after MN. Shilpa aunty's one liners always crack me up so badly, and Mayank's sadu looks after wards. No doubt to say Mayank is son of shilpa aunty, so witty, intelligent and generous lady!!! And yeah damn caring when it comes to ones who you love to infinity.

Mayank's interaction with dia, benji, and udhay has always been special in its own way. Dia's making faces after his rude comments and Udhay's kept thinking the meaning of each of them for so long after wards. And yeah that chironjee too, haha. He was so much fun and yes the line you put in ur post, that shut up one.......🤣🤣

and Nupur, well what I can say abt her, I don't think so this By God was ever this popular among people. Even the people who are not her fans, can't stop chanting this line now again and again, "By God" 😉😆. And so many others like this, can't even list them all. hehe

And yes how can I forget Mayank ever popular and sweetest line, "Maa balon ko mat chuo" Goshhhh this always make me to have a strong urge to pull his cheeks and touch his hair once........ 🤣🤣

This has been such a sweet journey with so much ups and down, MJHT have got its name scribbled down in history with the the everything it had!!! All the lines, dialogues and everything abt it have made me love this serial more and more!!!

True, we will remember them always. I have always pondered over whether it is the words to which the actors breathe life, or whether the actors upon which words are adorned. However as you said, it doesn't matter for we cherish them regardless for their life changing impact.
Love Sabah

here's the scene

Dearest Sonu, thank you honey for the link. I know that this is not technically 'speech' but I loved the grace of that catch and fall at 1:39, for that unsaid yet spoken sentiment of Gunjan reflected in Samrat's soul "Catch me before I fall." As you said one of the best love stories written. One reason being their love was like, to quote Bruce lee, a friendship on fire. For it smouldered rather than burned out.

Their conversations meant that their souls united first.
When finally their lips declare ownership of their souls, their hearts, their very being to the other; the close intimacy of the intimate nature of touch seems unnecessary yet obviously desirable, but signifying that there are no more physical boundaries to touch since they have already broken the greater intimacy of their respective hearts.

This scene you chose illuminates this escalating intimacy of Sajan, at 2:26, the issue of Ehsan. I love Samrat's answer. 'Kam to kam, 'FRIENDSHIP keh do' then at 2:39 his cheeky nature 'counting from the beginning, Nupur is right he is seeda saada, lekin super sweet jalebi ke tara!

However that thunderbolt that he is grips your heart at 3:57 as he tells her how she saved him. I love them too. Hard not too.

"Aaj meri zindagi udhar hogayi" Then Mayank and his twist, but then Gunjan and her save and the reason I love so much, she illuminates the beautiful truths of this world. Thank you for choosing this scene for it is the message of my thread, my intention, as she said it doesn't matter if a speech is copied I prefer borrowed, you can not fake a feeling felt. Love Sabah

goodness i m out of words here for really the scenes u choose in the update are indeed some of the most beautiful moments in MJHT esp the play scene is one i adore Gunjan' confession - esp when she says meri galti.. sirf meri galti i swear i cried when i heard those lines and still doAahana, Sanaya/Gunjan have made me cry so many times, so many moments, and as you say, STILL DO.

this post Sabah truly deserves applause for not only celebrating some of the most beautiful words ever heard.. but also written - i dont know if you have realized it yet or not Sabah but honestly you have done an amazing job by making this post - which in a way is the recognition of the work of a person who sadly goes unnoticed in the making of such an amazing product - the dialogue writerTrue, I pondered over the proportions of credit for a characterizations, that fusion of words and flesh. Even a little credit to the opposing actor that the character 'reacts to. For example Sanaya and thereby Gunjan would have reacted, even if just a slightest nuance, if Arjun had played Samrat instead of Mohit.

😆😆😆That look your face is wearing, (LOOK IN THE MIRROR) that is why i said it, I just couldn't help myself. 😆😆😆

Sorry, I digress. At the end of the day it is not about assigning credit but being grateful for it, and honouring it thus.
😆

had it not been the genius of that man who got the nuisances of each and every character right .. got them perfectly down to the minutest details which always made it feel only he/she could have spoken this ... those words werent just penned down Sabah they were penned down especially keeping in mind the character who mouthed them - hats off to Mr Kewalya - Exactly. To work within the parameters of a character is exceptional for a writer. However he went beyond that talent, in the respect that he 'tweaked' characters, their words depending upon who they were addressing. As in real life, we do not speak to our parents, as we do our friends, or teachers or strangers. Gunjan was not the same with Samrat, as she was with Nupur, in the beginning but as that relationship developed, unlike sisterhood, a soul mate, Gunjan became to Samrat that what she was not to Nupur, or ever was. This was just superb

Speaking as someone who loves her sister, but knows that we are not soul mates, that our history and love holds us together BUT not like my heart is bound to my kindred souls. I speak differently.

It is a nuance, a niche sometimes, but a difference, to see that develop in a characterization is just remarkable.
as its his work i am seeing being featured here over all every scene a masterpiece thanks to his words full of beauty that added to the joy and charm of those fictional characters we came to love and adore - making them have a special place in our hearts forever 😳 I concur. Forever. Love Sabah
