I beseech God for light,

The Dialogues of Miley Jab HUM TUM!

"Hum hi hum hain to kya hum hain tum hi tum ho to kya tum ho'"

Words; the means to make mountains blush, reduce ash to dust and make smithereens of mush! They can impede the implausibility of impossibility jumping from the frying pan into the fire and yet can enrage the sun stare's to burning you to the ground.

We try in vain to hold onto to moments like dust caught in sunlight, grabbing and grasping unto nothing but despair when all we need are the suppleness and subtlety of a few syllables to add weight to them turning seconds into eons into an eternity.

I am certain, I have Yaqeen, that there is a combination, a verse to be sought that would coerce the stars to spell out my beloved's name, a search I would gladly spend my life.

I digress...

I love MJHT for so many reasons, one being its remarkable, awe inspiring and often profound dialogues. From Shilpa Aunty's SASS, to Mayank's one liners. From Gunjan's RJ Radio Hunt speech, quoting my all time favourite Gandhi message to Samrat's Jaanuable. I mean to create a WHOLE NEW WORD for mankind, for history is no small feat indeed. Finally and by no means the least, Nupur dialogues, retorts, insults and plain nautantki talks, just magnificent.

I am in awe of those who penned such wonders as those whose breath made them wondrous.

I have an all time favourite line from MJHT, a favourite speech and dialogue but I will hold them hostage, humbly asking for a ransom of sharing your own.

Love Sabah

So very true!
Words...hold unimaginable power in them just as you've beautifully stated.

Its because of MJHT,IF
and most importantly Words that i met Sabah and all my other IF friends,
and I am so grateful to God for that.

Loved the witty last sentence, the words(see!) which mesmerized me all over again,
will be back with my favorite dialogues soon...
and would love to hear what your hostage has to say...😆

Till then,

Love,

Mugdha

Sabah Di... First of all, I am so sorry that I couldn't post my comment on your last post.. the Magnificient ladies of MJHT.. If its ok, can I still comment there?
And coming to dialogues.. Words have such an impact on the listener... and the way we put them and weave a garland, has a long lasting impression in the mind of the person who perceives them..
And some dialogues of MJHT are not even worth mentioning but the way the actors and characters delivered those dialogues, its that impact which refuses to be erased from my heart and one such dialogue is "Muft mein chandan toh ghis mere nandan".. Sabah Di, I am in love with this Dialogue.. and then Mayank's "Girne mein kya PHD ki hain".. such a common dialogue but the way he delivered it and the expressions associated with the dialogue makes it more cherished and the Shilpa Aunty's dialogue "Mere Young Kaan Itni Adult baatein nahin sunn sakte"..
Words.. spoken with feelings and expression... enough for a life time to be spent in their memory..
And now since I told one of my fav., please release the hostages...😆😆😆

@Mugdha, I don't quite understand what the Hostage is mumbling, maybe I should remove the gag? 😳 I wonder if you could guess though, it is quite a random quote, and not from the lips of the main four or even Shilpa Aunty, but the very thought of it has assaulted my soul into giggling whole heartedly. I am indebted to MJHT and IF as you say.

@ALL
Here are some wonderful dialogues I found, to 'encourage' co operation.

Mayank's 'mein bachpan se mou se bol ta hun' Classic SASS or Smart Alec Sharma Sarcasms!

AT 2:44

or Gunjan's first jaanuable moment for me,

AT 6:26

Zara Hatiye 'bhai saab' humein jaana hai. Just so cute!

However THIS RADIO HUNT SPEECH IS just excellent. I loved it sincerity, its truth, and its wisdom at 3:22

The moment I fell for Nupur, (even more) at 5:15 "accha, woh waala HANG OUT...) Actually I am in need of a interpreter for some of her dialogues, there were just magnificent as they were astonishing. Loved them.

Samrat's Jaanuble, introducing the word into history's dictionary! at 4:55

Please share, hostage is turning mouldy 😕

Divya, I am forever is wait for your response, please take your time, and as for seeking permission, are we not past such formalities?

I loved your favourites, 'mere kaan' a classic, but still not my all time favourite.

HERE AT 3:39

I will keep it tied a little longer in discretion.

My Hindi is quite poor, I sought to improve it through MJHT, which means I can not say simple things but can pour my heart out with such eloquence, like the other languages I am learning through dramas. :S So I could explain my heart's condition to my beloved but may be fail to reply a simple yes to his proposal. 😳😆

Could you elucidate this for me, its meaning, its history, its root in language and whether is stems from a region, a community? Thank you honey, "
"Muft mein chandan toh ghis mere nandan"." Also, do you have a link, or know the episode so I can add the link? Its Nupur's line, but I don't remember where from.

True, not every 'I love you' penetrates through the pollution of a jaded hearts. Only those said with sincerity enough to pierce one's soul, from the pith that lies at another's truth.

Then again, one thing MN or ArTi, were so good at emulating, 'those unsaid yet spoken sentiments'

Silence is indeed golden, that glimmer that can not be forced by a tilt of a head but only heaven bestows like morning dew.

Love Sabah

😆 Haan, but not as cute as when his mother fed him. I loved the way Dia screams NUPUR INTO the phone, loved that diva attitude, giving as good as she got!

I loved the way Nupur used to call him 'monkey'

My all time fave dialouge is... The one only " By God" delivered by Nupur Bhusan... It's something about how Rati pronounce it... It makes it very special...😳

By God... I miss MjHT...

I love your name, so unique. May I ask its meaning?

True, that BY GOD, there have been a few before but no one does it like our Nupur!

Di.. muft ka chandan, ghis mere nandan - means to use something free of cost!
Its origin is Bambaiyya Hindi, Mumbaiyya, or Bombay Hindi (Hindi: ??????? ?????) is a vernacular form of Hindi spoken primarily in Mumbai
Bambaiyya Hindi relates to mainstream Hindi the way Cockney relates to "proper" English and "Brooklyn English" relates to New York
Its basically a slang, Di
