Summary
Mayank calls up Gunjan and asks SG to come to the "Chain Market" (correct me if am wrong), saying that the person in the Mayapari stall had told him that Nupur had left the stall two minutes before he had been there. He drags them to the stall and asks the stallwallah who has no idea whatsoever because he had just taken over. When Mayank asks him who was there 2 hours ago, he has no idea.
Mayank then takes S and G to the house in which Nupur used to live. Unfortunately, the Mayapari's and SRK posters aren't there anymore, and one the wall are some paintings. The caretaker gets really pissed off seeing Mayank there. Mayank tries to explain to him that the woman who used to live there is his wife and he has not met her three years. The caretaker doesn't give a damn whether she is his wife or not as he has no ata-pata with the people who stay there.
Mayank tells SG that he got Nupur's number from that very house and then the caretaker gets furious and tells him he is going to get him locked up in prison for breaking the window...aka...vandalism.😆 He tries to fight with Mayank and in the end Mayank pushes him away. Caretaker tells SG to take away the madman from here. Mayank once again gets so angry and holds him by the collar. SG have to take him away.
They end up back in the stall area. Mayank tells them to believe him. Gunjan says he has to listen to them. She says that the one who has gone cannot comeback. What has happened cannot be changed. Mayank gets furious and goes from there.
He sitting at the window sill and asking Nupur to come back. He is asking her why she is taking his pyaar ke intehaam. He says he wants her back and wont let go of her. She is not his vehem, he saw her with his own eyes. (At this point you just feel like giving the guy one tight hug.)
FINALLY THE ACCIDENT SCENE😳
Mayank is driving and thinking that everyone is thinking of him to be mad. He says he is totally alone and wants Nupur back in his life. SG have each other and now he is all alone. He thinks of his memories with Samrat and Gunjan when a man appears in front of him.
Then it's 1st June all over again. He tries to control the car while memories of 3 years back accident flashes before his eyes. In the end he crashes into a car and his head hits the steering wheel. Flashes of the post-accident scene flash on the screen.
Then a lovely girl clad in pink comes there and starts saying suniye ji suniye ji. She is Nupur. She is frantic, wants him to remain conscious. The way she addresses him makes it confusing because she doesn't call him Mayank. She calls him suniye ji. Mayank opens his eyes and sees her image and memories pass before his eyes. Nupur removes his seat-belt and holds his hand firmly. Then she looks at him and his head is resting on her shoulder, their faces barely apart.
In the hospital she tells the doctor to take care of him. While the stretcher is moving, her hand is firmly on his forehead. The doctor tells her he has to take Mayank to the Emergency Room and Nupur gets worries. Will he be fine? Doctor says nothing can be said. As the stretcher moves, Mayank clutches onto Nupur's dupatta firmly. He doesn't want to let go. He wants her.
Nupur then watches him from from the "window" and is almost in tears. In fact there are tears in her eyes. Each time the readings on the monitor changes, or he moves, she winces in pain. She feels his pain.
The nurse asks her to sign the papers. Nupur says that can be done later also, and asks her to start Mayank's treatment. Nurse insists that it's necessary to sign the papers. Just before signing, her hand goes to her forehead and Mayank's blood becomes her sindoor.
She stares at him through the "window" and agrees to sign. The nurse asks her who is Mayank to her. Nupur looks at him through the window, sees him in pain, and firmly says PATI PATI PATI. (Okay that was for dramatic effect😆)
Pre-cap- Doc asks Nupur to contact his relatives. She is kind of sad. When SG come inside, Nupur is shown to move away.
FEEDBACK
1. Acting- Arjun was totally brilliant. The desperation, the hurt, the loneliness, the sadness, the love, and every freaking emotion was displayed perfectly by the guy. Rati was simply brilliant as well. Every emotion was perfect. The love for him, the pain she is going through seeing him in pain, and in the end when she firmly says that Mayank is her husband. Kudos to both of them. 👏
2. Scenes- Loved all the scenes. Especially the ones in which Mayank is feeling lonely and upset remembering her, sitting by the window sill. The Mayank-Nupur scenes were brilliantly shot. The intensity, beauty and love shown in the scenes is simply out of the world.
3. Background Music- The hollow, scary version of the magical MayUr BG was simply thrilling. It sends such a chill down your spine. The music when Mayank's blood becomes Nupur's sindoor is eerily beautiful.
4. Blooper- Why was Mayank in the same outfit as the previous outfit while Nupur was in a different one? How did Nupur reach the accident spot?
