Madhvi, you're right about us not agreeing due to our individual perspectives. But there's another reason to it. It reminds me of an interesting story. There was this theologian in medieval times called Imam Ghazzali (Gazelle in the west if you know him by that name) who wrote a text to show incoherence of philosophers. Years later an advocate of philosophy known as Ibn Rushd (Averroes in the west) wrote a refutation to his text, and he was successful. But, there was a big problem with Ibn Rushd's refutation: he refuted al-Ghazzali's text in the light of Aristatolian philosophy while Imam Ghazzali had shown incoherence of Neoplatonic philosophy. Something similar is happening between the two of us - we depend on different sources to derive our respective theories. Your primary source is Rati's interview while I have totally rejected it as an unreliable source.
As for Mayank's "felt-presence" and the new entrants success, it is highly subjective. Hence, I don't think we need to discuss that. Contrary to your view, not only me but others have also felt Mayank's presence together with Nupur from the beginning of season 1. I'm sure there will be many who share your thought on Mayank being side-lined. But, that's fine, at least we all have the freedom of thought.
As for your theory being imperfect, I'd say otherwise. Remember, the core belief of the post-modern world we live in is that there are no points of references. That is, a poem I write carries the same value as that of Shakespeare, for who is to judge what is better? However, our utterances or actions must have logical grounding. So, as long as you have that, feel free to share your views.
It was good talking to you. Hope to see you soon on some other discussion of the like.
