Okay, so it all begins with a voting poll according to which Nupur's character had to remain in the show, but she dies. If I'm not mistaken, Rati had mentioned in one of her subsequent interviews that the creatives had decided to kill the most famous character. I seriously failed to comprehend why would the creatives do such a thing in the first place? I'm sure they had the intelligence to guess that they'll be outright accused of cheating the audience. I knew something was happening behind the scene, but I wasn't so sure yet.
While I talked about Nupur's death with a friend, she asked straightaway, did they show her body? I said no. Immediately, she said it means the actress will return. Not that it hadn't occured to me before. When I saw Gunjan running with Nupur's dupatta, I said to myself oh yeah they're playing it safe.
Next, I read Rati's claim that she wasn't informed of her exit beforehand. To be honest, I didn't believe one bit of it. I fail to understand under what circumstances would an actor not know about his/her exit. I don't think the creative team are such tyrants. I also heard someone on the forum saying that s/he had met Sanaya on the set of the show and having asked her about Rati's return, Sanaya had confidentaly said no she's not returning. It was then when I guessed the actors must have been briefed about denying the possibility of Rati's return to the show.
Rati is also careful not to give any statement that she'll never return to the show. Then, she is supposedly getting loads of offers, so what keeps her from accepting any if she's certain she has left MJHT for good? The subtext of her interviews was always indicative of her potential return.
Contrary to the initial reports of Rati's arrogance, Sudhir Sharma suddenly refers to her as his favorite actress. And, no it wasn't because he got scared of her fans. That's very stupid of anyone who thinks so. It's all part of the big plan. And she might actually be his favorite actress.
Referring to the recent report on a technical error in the results of that online poll, are you kidding me? Do you really thing I'm that dumb?
The plot: There's a poll. Rati wins. But she quits the show. There's news about the actress passing tantrums on the set. Rati claims she wasn't informed of her exit. Rati says nothing bad about the creatives, and people understand it as her decency and kind-heartedness (Give me a break!). Trps supposedly fall and Rati rises saying she'll return for the sake of her fans.
Two major contradictions: Rati wins the polls yet she's shown the door. If Rati hadn't been arrogant, why would the creative house ask their most popular actress on the show to leave?
Reconciliation: The creative house figured out the most popular actor/actress, built the suspense to the ultimate during which their TRPs were sky rocketing, and finally showed the very same popular one dead without any justification as to what happened to the poll system. The new cast is introduced, people are liking the new cast but the TRPs are not as good yet. No problem, there's a boost in store! which is Nupur's return. Making the audience hopeless and then surprising them with a 'miracle' is definately a good strategy.
I'm not here to spoil your excitement. But, don't get over-excited because it was all pre-planned. Nupur's return was written during season 1 itself. It's incredible how everything falls into its right place when you see it from the above perspective.
