Why is it always the ph at fault? [note pg.15] - Page 6

@topic starter- are you telling us that we shouldnt bother what is happening within actor and production house? we shouldnt give or bother with suggestions either? cause at the end of the day it WILL get overlooked ?

So why are there consumer forum or I say viewers forum as this? which are made to take viewers feedback? Isnt the entire process of selling and buying a two way thing? Viewers/consumers are important when they give a nod to the product but when they disagree it is obsession/immaturity?

I generally do not take my love for an actor too far...I do admit that production house is also a sufferer. But as a Viewer dont I have the right to speak my mind?

I do agree that we feel more attached to an actor than the people behind the scenes But have we ever been credited with any genuine news behind the scenes? we always get to see the flossy...the actors in segments behaving in a naughty way...why not for once we are allowed a glimpse into their inner world? Maybe we will sympathise with them a little more if that happened.....can you arrange some ways for that to happen?

I would love to see how the creatives work, how the production house manages expenses, how the channel decides what to keep what to throw away. How the camera man, spot boy technician labour. Why keep those behing wraps? if we are required to eel for some people we should come to know about them too...right?

WOAH...why are people responding to HEARSAY.... I asked a simple question ...she said she statistically knows actors are at fault... I haven't seen any...

In the absence of solid proof ... it is you say and I say... it boils down to opinions...SUBJECTIVE...

Coming to topic... it is a two way street... I see more articles coming out maligning actors more than actors maligning PH/ Channel....

Any one can be wrong...what I see often times is PH ganging up to prove the point rather than being honest .... it has come to the point that even when they say the truth...no one cares... the basic assumption is THEY NEVER WILL ... which is true... ( I have proof..)

It is always the LITTLE BIRDIES that TWEET ... what are the afraid of.... why can't they go public if it is true... because it is not....it is THEIR OPINION ...not a fact itself....

nevertheless...more than actor maligning... what I find outrageous is the timing of it and the medium they choose.... everything is hunky dory and peachy as long as actors participate in simon says ..... if not OHHHHH tantrum throwers....

I still haven't found one solid defense against any production house.... Yeah they work hard to come up with money , teams etc etc... but they are also responsible employee satisfaction.... one of the huge factor in successful company is EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION.... Which equates to Productivity.... I have seen Big companies collapse due to lack of understanding and personnel management skills.... what do we hear..the employee demands are unreasonable ... but what they don;t tell you is what is reasonable...a common ground can always be acheived...then again who is trying.... every one is interested in mud slinging.....

Come to think of it...how come only famous actor/actress gets maligned... there are gazillion stars in the telly... why do we hear about the ones that are famous..... sounds to me like some one has an axe to grind...or are using that popularity to become popular...

in the end everything relates to POWER and MONEY...No logic or No real Fundaa....

A sincere request to MN fans.... you have to know when to pick a argument and when not to.... this is an argument you shouldn't because it was here for a purpose and you just fulfilled it....

Interesting points you've got here. I'd agree, if taken in general, and disagree if it's indicative to Rati's case.

Yes, the Media line can be really nasty, especially the television industry. They play dirty politics, just to keep themselves clean. It's all about their personal gains, and all are just merely selfish.

Now, I'm not saying one needs to be absolutely selfless. That'll be foolish cause in today's world, one needs to be selfish to survive.

But when it comes to Rati being removed, then the case is different. Even if you take it from the neutral pov. Okay, so maybe we don't know what happens behind the scenes, and articles can usually be made up just to settle scores with the PH, but the truth remains, she was kicked out, for reasons unknown. She (Rati) claims that she decided to quit, and many of us, (like me) believed her, and her decision. But then slowly we started getting counter statements which were controversial, saying she was shown the doors, and that she was dictating terms on the sets. Fans went into a dilemma, and were led to believing in favor of the actor.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but in this case, yes you are. Cause this particular PH is no innocent bunch either, and they have been absolutely nasty to the viewers as well. Probably you wouldn't know of the presence of a Creative member from this very PH, on the forum, just a year back, who openly insulted each and every member of this forum, and then fled away. How can you justify this behavior. As a PH, they need to care about their viewer's sentiments also. That's where Endemol and Sunshine went wrong. They took their viewers for granted, and thus this result.

And P.S- Our requests are to NOT show any mushy romance, and instead give us sensible tracks pertaining to career. Just for clarifying that bit.

@Krystal_watz- Indeed they do. They make an actor popular, and in return, the actor increases the popularity of the show. But at the end of it, it's US who makes both of them popular. If no one will care to watch the show, how long do you think it'd survive? And we viewers watch it for the actors, and NOT for the PH, that's a fact. And Rati has many a times been the saving grace of the show, when the "dialogue writers" who have written such beautiful (Sarcasm intended) lines, fail to live up to our expectations. (Read, MN confession.) It survived only because of the fantastic acting done by these very actors. And that's exactly why the PH tries to use their popularity.

gr8 magazine has quoted that mayank and nupur has huge fan following which can make other actors go green with envy.

And yes, you're right, fans do make an actor popular.....but , that too has the credit of the PH Team behind it.....think about MJHT. Would we have fallen for the serial if it had shoddy sets, unimpressive character sketches, and bad lines from the very start? NO. Yes, the dialogue writers have failed at places, there's no denying that. But that was much later....when the stars have already carved out a niche for themselves in the viewer's minds.

And besides, its not like actors are NEVER at fault, sometimes people do get over-hyped and take their star status for granted, and throw around tantrums. Another thing, if i was an actor, i'd never hve been so ungrateful to the people who gave me the chance to make a platform for myselves and show them down.😃

Fine, maybe it's give and take.
But this particular actor in question, I don't think has been ungrateful to the PH.
And to make another point, viewers fell in love with the serial only because of their respective couples. Otherwise, who would really appreciate cliched tracks, with actors who couldn't even ACT? I was against even watching MJHT in the first place, when I heard they were trying to make it a youth show like Remix. And me being a big fan of Remix, would never accept any show to take it's place. But what got me hooked? The acting, the chemistry between the two actors. And as for character sketches, they were impressive, no doubt, but the actor that breathed life into it made the character lovable. And I do not think any actor could have done justice to Nupur, other than Rati. So Rati made Nupur popular, made her lovable, and created such a huge fan following for herself. Had it not been for Rati, I have my doubts if I would have even watched this show for more than a week.
