Recently there's a lot of buzz in the mjht forum, one topic among the many blaming mayank for his anger towards samrat, as he himself encouraged samrat's trivial misdemeanour...i.e. speeding.
Many have speculated that there is something more among the lines.
Keeping those aside, i.e. whether they happened or not, till now the picture shown to us, justifies the behaviour of all 3 characters. It does!
I like to read on death, loss, mourning etc etc.
and so i made an analysis.
And i have to say tht MJHT has truly portrayed loss in a very apt and wonderful way! đ
Most of the shows portray death with numbness or mentally affected...i mean portraying insane n suicidal acts.
Anyways As to why all of them are justified? yes even gunjan!
Every individual react to situations differently and so do the 3 chars of MJHT.
I wil start with my Fav
Samrat- A part of the mourning process is Guilt, Irrational or rational thts totally not the point, few people change when they mourn for their loss, changes are creative or disastrous, for samrat its both, creative- he's much more mature, he has made it his responsibilty to not let others make same mistakes as he did etc Disastrous- he doesnt believe in friendship, blames himself for everthing, has given up all his passions, BB music etc etc.
Not only guilt, but he also mourns and cries Of the seperation(frm his friends n luv), anxiety, hopelessness and anger too. Anger at himself.
Gunjan- For her the feeling is of being left bereft, her shelter has gone, and her strength as well. Few say its not justified for her to leave samrat, her love. But i dont think so, from her pov.
Often when we mourn for our loss we cut off all our relations, with others i mean close one's. Its not only samrat whom she has cut off relations with, its the whole of excel, all her friends except mayank, because he needed support as well. She is a counsellor at some place helping others face the difficulties of life, probably for a living? maybe it gives her peace.
Recently she was Looking through photographs, when they laughed and cried and made memories together. She finds it hard to accept, she told mayank it seems like her di is there with her, tht she has not left her at all.
Her pov is clear from the above lines. Total cut off from the world, finding peace in helping others, being with samrat will only intensify her pain, remind her of her loss...and so she left.
Mayank- Arjun's fabulous acting, doesnt help matters! i try to keep the tears away in almost every scene of his, even when he smiles whole-heartedly. Because sorrow echoes through every inch of him. Some people bring their dead back to life with hallucinations..by dreams.
They try to deny the loss, the fact tht in reality the dead doesnot exist anymore.
3 years probably he lived hallucinating her to be there with him.
but now finally making his way through the pain when he adapted himself with great difficulty, he adjusted himself to the circumstances.
Anger towards others is a part of the mourning process.
Probably the debate arises tht afterall mayank is a guy who thinks logically and counter argument is tht how can one be logical when they suffer thru such gr8 loss.
And then the time span of 3 years..!
But my point is different from these arguments.
Mayank's dialogue heartwrenching it seems now was.
Dil ko Dimaag ke control main lao.
He used to say tht.
It will be a surprise to a few.
But Loss and Death is something the brain registers first and not the heart.
Its our brain that hallucinates and shrieks the non-existence of a beloved, our heart plainly loves.
Its the Undying Love with not only romance and fluff, but pain, despair, loss and sacrifice included as well:)
Mayank has taken the step to move on, as his subconscious mind says, he has set forward to make a new nupur, a new samrat and a new Gunjan.
Another argument is tht all 3 characters havent moved on...3 years! is a lot time...it depends from person to person on finally putting an end to their mourning, and its a shock to few tht all 3 are still mourning.
But the fact lies.
That there is no end to mourning, but it is the ability to move on with life.
They have emerged from the phase but it keeps recurring, they have accepted and adapted themselves samrat as a trustee, mayank as a car engineer and gunjan as a counsellor, they have found their means to survive(even samrat he's waiting for death)...but the feeling's return- Of sadness, loneliness, guilt and despair, when the calender marks the date of her death.
Try as they may they cant ignore the unbearable non-existence of Nupur Mayank Sharma.
Sorry if i bored u all...few thoughts are inspired from Judith Viorst novel 'Necessary Losses'
To end with this thread, i think to all Nupur fans i have just one thing to say, it hurts doesnt it? when they say move on...yup i knw the feeling.
But here's wat i think.
Dont let anger be a part of ur mourning, it will only ruin the purity of ur heart...the purity of nupur.
Hate is not Good.
Cherish the days of Nupur, she has left many memories behind, As Rati says, Nupur is a legendđ
I hope that now pls all of u stop blaming the rest 3 chars abt their perspectives
arguments are most welcomed.
though i barely think anyone read the whole essay i wrote ahem...i tend to get a bit boring at times.
nyway thnx for stickin to the read till the end.đ
PS: m an MJHT fan..when i say tht it includes the whole gang...even Nupur!
