I love the symmetry of Gunjan and Samrat. It has never been a case of opposites attract for me. As displayed in the harmonious synchrony of their realisations of love. Both scenes, many tumultuous moments between each one, share the same milestones, the same understandings; they carried the same melody whereby the euphony of two distinct heartbeats resound as one. Each heart reflecting the other soul's love. Gunjan & Samrat.

Beat; The initial questions followed by the desperate search for signs, initially within themselves and then consequently in the other. Beat; The chaotic mess of their minds, a series of obvious answers followed by the 'why' of it all. Beat; The contemplation of their love and envisioning a daringly bold action. Beat; Then the sweetness of submission and the tranquil calm that follows...

Beat; Gunjan leaves the library, the college building. Beat; Samrat leaves his friends. Beat; They find silent places of refuge in an attempt to find peace in their own hearts. Beat; Both carry with them mementos from their beloved and precious memories swirling through their heads. Beat!

Beat; Gunjan runs to the college garden, the verdant scenery a metaphor for the love flourishing in her heart. Beat; Samrat runs to the fountains in the college entrance, the water a metaphor for the love nourishing his heart. Beat; Both breathing heavily, as their heartbeats escalate...Beat!

Beat; Gunjan " Mujhe Samrat se pyar hai." Beat; Samrat "Mujhe pyar ho gaya hai, Chashmish." Beat; Gunjan relieved releases a lonely tear. Beat; Samrat relieved smiles. Beat; Gunjan falls back into the lush grass, as if falling back through eras of time. Beat; Samrat falls through the months gone by, as if truly feeling them for the first time. Beat!

Beat; Both leave their beloved's company; desire to be alone with their new found feelings for a while; to adjust and feel the sweetness of first and true love Beat; Both turn to music to express their emotions. BEAT, BEAT, BEAT...

Even though I end here, their symmetry continued on, in their manner of confession of love, and so forth and God willing, forever on...

Both Sanaya and Mohit out did all my expectations. I too cry with Gunjan. I too smile with Samrat. With the simplest of words and expressions they exuded real, natural and life affirming realisations of love.

I leave you with those precious words of Samrat's

"Toh isse kehte hai pyar, har waqt ek alag ehsaas"

I have never loved an on screen pair as much as i love SaJan 😳.....they are just so ethereal .😍

SaJan have been soulmates since the day they first met .😳....from friends to best friends ...from best friends to lovers ....they...were , are & always will be inseperable ..😳.amen to that !
