@sonali
the little monologue right after gunjan told him abt samrat was awesome...he is subtle yet deep..and practical..doesnt go overboard wid emotions..isnt that real...I really do see him as a very real guy.. I mean I sorta compared his situation to gunjans when she found out samrat dint feel the same for her post rose day...there the CVs showed expression of hurt, pain sorrow...dejection and a lot of us cried with her..today the same happened to Neil and just coz he dealt with his pain with dignity not many ppl feel his pain..

Absolutely. Just becos people deal with their pain doesn't mean they are not hurting anymore. Happy about the way the this character is shaping up.

just watched todays epi..Neel and Samrat's convo..or should I say Neel's advise and then a controlled outburst...was a highlight..sometimes the CVs surprise me when I least expect..I am truly amazed at how and who conceptualized this character..he is so dignified even in agony..this is the most extreme we have seen him react but even then there was a sense of control, of maturity...

I love how he repeated amidst his lil word of caution..that he RESPECTS Gunjan's sentiments and priorities..and will always do that..he believes in loving someone irrespective of a reciprocation...he can accept all that life has to offer- good or bad.. with his head held high...an almost surreal mix of intellect and nobility...

I dont know where this character is destined to go from here....but I would like to thank the creative mind/s that gave us NEEL...thanks a lot..I wish there were mentors like him to give a sense of direction to the mercurial...disillusioned youth..a race that is ever so rampant...its quite sad...

P.S. how can I forget...kudos to Amit for portraying it so well...he is a natural..I have never seen him before but this portrayal would go a long way for me... his casting for this role was bull's eye..the sincerity in his eyes just make Neel all the more worthwhile...

I LOVED the song that you posted!! i really like the connection you made!

I like Neel better than Sam though...Sam needs to grow up, n get Mature...he does not know anything about what love and reality is..

Neel is perfect for Gunjan!

@Sonali ..Thank you for bumping this thread...

at Neel.. Man I truly admire him... few people can get their point across vividly and candidly... and today he did... I was laughing when Sam said pechele kuch dinon se mere dil par kya beethe hain.. unless I missed something at the best he apologized some one for beating him up publically... BIG DEAL... and he was beating himself up for made up reasons and insecurities he created for himself...

Gunjan has been very clear and candid and never minced her words.. what is there not to understand...

Now Neel made me appreciate men in general who despite loosing their heart still can be graceful and respectful in their actions towards others... I saw the perfect balance of personal life and professional life in Neel.. I saw his conflict for a second and yet he calmed his inner turmoil and heeded to his responsibility...

He was right ... growing up... I feel like he should probably talk to all the men in the serial about growing up after seeing the canteen discussion... life doesn't allow us to sit and whine about our losses... we buck up and move on remembering the raw wounds and try not to get hurt again...

KUDOS to Amit Jain.. he could show the pain and the determination at the same time when he was talking to Sam.. and his longing at times... he Made Neel Human after all... perfect emotions for a very common situation ..

Anu amazing post. I wanted to comment a long time back but then I couldn't locate this one. Wow Sonali so well said. 👏 👏 👏 He is such a dignified character. It really is a treat to watch him on screen. He is so mature and very well pointed out, his outburst, concern was so well delineated. I was amazed at how beautifully he made his point, he was firm and congent yet polite. He has excellent advocacy skills I must say!

I agree man, the part where he said that he respects Gunjan's choice and sentiments was amazing, even more impressive was the genuine way he said it. Thats so true Neel loves her regardless!

Amit Jain is doing a brilliant job. He is very talented and I hope that he goes really really far. Amen.

God bless.

Brilliant Anu!!!!!! I have felt the same. He struck the perfect balance and it seemed so effortless and smooth. Furthermore I agree i think he should speak to all the so called men in the show. They all need to see how Neil is, he isn't much older than them and I see a huge distance between them and him. Hoping that the growth of other boys would be shown. Neil has impressed me so much and from the beginning of his track. I hope he stays for longer.

😆😆...No I don't visit his blog.... but I have been told he spoke about this post...
Thank you 😳.... I am less celebrity fan and more Character fan... I hope CVs don't confuse this role and let him to what he does best.... Acting...
@Senny... Absolutely ... I am happy because he ( NEEL OBEROI ) not only inspired the characters each in a unique way.... he continues to teach them lessons... unknowingly.... yet insightful.... let's see how he manages to exit the screen...as we know it is a cameo role...

AJ...I am not sure Neel's solicitation would come to good use...coz going by todays epi..he made an earnest effort in spite of his feelings to help SG's relationship..he candidly told Samrat to sit and think about what was going wrong and the root of the problem..coz he as a 3rd person can see both of their concerns..As a friend he knew Gunjan wanted to leave the place to spend some time away from all this such that they both can have time to think..and come out stronger..
but alas..when you bang yer head against the wall u end up hurting yerself..and thats wat Neel would feel..coz Samrats move would not only tarnish gunjan's budding profession and hurt her trust it would harm Neel too..
looking at the guys in the show...the so-called leads I can concur when wisdom was being given out they had taken a hike or a ROAD TRIP... 🤣 its easy to say U LOVE A GIRL..but if u dont KNOW the REAL person you LOVE..you would always be hounded by insecurity..and that can be said about both Mayank and Samrat...
reminds me of my fav song...here goes..HIGHLIGHTING THE VERSE....GIVE HER WINGS IF SHE WANTS TO FLY....

heres hoping the next time the heroes SCREAM they LOVE their girl..they would have given a thought...have they REALLY LOVED THEIR WOMAN...

Ahh Sonali... Indeed... I couldn't help but admire Neel's disposition... he was calm and rational... his heart is breaking in th millions poeces but yet he tried to help Samrat by assuring him and giving him confidence....
Loved his motive... he said he would anything to see Gunjan happy....
for a minute he reminded me of Gunjan herself in Sheena track... who also underwent the same heart ache... she kept on telling herself... she is doing it for Samrat's happiness... and she respected Sheena's wishes when she asked Gunjan to stay away from Samrat... One dialouge I still remember ...
one must realse their love , if it returns to you then only it is yours...
trust, confidence and love are intertwined...Sorry to say I saw the same misguided Sam in the Sheena track
On the other hand Neel showed a solid foundation that is needed for a relationship.... understanding of your love and lover... not blinded by the feelings ... the more I see him the more he impresses me...
Should I be surprised if Gunajan is impressed by him.. and his values... she LOVES Sam... but I am seeing these days... She RESPECTS Neel.... not because he demanded it.... because he deserved it...
Amit Jain is doing a fine justice to the character..
