@mads: Exactly....if those pics don't say it all, then I don't know what can....if ppl STILL can't get my point even after that and turn this into an argument about me being a 'narrow minded prude', so be it.......some things are just lost causes then....LOL

I want to know in WHICH youth culture, pics and a setting like that is considered aesthetic??? Ofcourse the youth of today are sleeping around like nobody's business....but when it is shown in THIS manner on TELEVISION...in a SHOW....does it not remind anyone of the seedy MMS clips that are passed around?? That is reality too....does everyone find that 'romantic' too??

^^ I SWEAR !!! I'd thought..no matter how pathetic the storylines might become, it wud NEVER ever cum to this day.. but I guess it has...

I jus pray n hope tht they never do this for SG.. tho cant be positive now..it may even account for something worse since SaJan are supposed to be the "emotional" couple..

no offence to anyone
but most relationship does contain such intimacy
i agree that the fact its in the barn makes it seem disgusting
however apart from holding hadns and playin with that twig
but they're not showing the leads kissing or anyfing
Also sayin that mayur relationship is only a physical one is quite wrong
afterall they have been goin out for months
and its the first time you seem them like this

I agree completely..

this is an indian television .. and there are some unspoken boundries here which shud NOT be crossed.. and anyways, even if they are crossed..there is some manner in which they should be crossed..THIS is definitely not one of the ways.. there COULD have been better ways to telecast or potray "passionate" love..and its not jus thru physical actions.. but alas, the creatives hav a total one-track mind here.. well, wat else wud I expect.. I guess handling too many serials at the same time is bound to get to their heads.. mixing the storylines..or interchanging concepts and characters.. uggghhh !!! 🤢🤢🤢

@Mads: Well given that they already showed a neck kiss in imagination for SG, they probably will show them doing more stuff in the future....brace yourself ;-) lol

@Kavya: LOL I'd love to get an answer for that too.

I dunno what to say honestly, except repeat the reasons why I did not like those pics (despite the fact that I don't care about Mn or this show anymore)-
1. MN NEVER bonded emotionally or built their relationship to take it to this level and this makes the whole thing cheap n lustful to me. Its not passion , please don't taint the word, I have loved some really passionate on-screen couples but their passion comes out of their LOVE , not the desire to feel up each other and you know what....
2.Agreed that the youth today do believe in being physical but its funny how MJHT chooses to show only those aspects of youth while aspects like studies, working towards their goals, being ambitious n working to build a career are conveniently ignored. I REFUSE to buy this defense that teenagers today are fast thinking - MJHT is a COLLEGE BASED show n whether or not such things happen in reality, its the channel's n the show makers' responsibility to project the youth in the right manner.
3.Nobody is criticizing Ar-Ti or their chemistry but what is the point of their "sizzling chemistry" n "mind blowing acting" when the scene itself is useless and pointless? Mum gives Mayank a day to spend with Nupur and THIS is what he chooses to do? That logic beats me really (especially when it is applied to MAYANK) - despite all the ridiculousness of their fight n their "emotional" patch up , had they utilized this premise with MN parting on a bitter sweet note n discussing how they'd continue their long distance relationship or the future course of their 'relationship' , it would have STILL been a good stand alone scene but now thanks to this 'amazing creativity' , it ended up as being a cheap, c-grade scene, its coming out as if Mayank has wanted only one thing from Nupur n since he is moving away he wants to wrap things up as he won't get that chance again which makes the whole sequence desperate n hence disgusting.

4.I am upset not because I care for MN or watch MJHT but THIS has totally ruined the essence of that wonderful , magical barn scene for me n really killed the memories I cherished of the erstwhile MN , that Mayank Nupur whom I REALLY REALLY LOVED *sigh* .

EDIT:

The sad part is I am so scarred by those pictures that I can't even bring myself to ROFL at them

@bold: Do they look like they are just holding hands in this pic?🤔

Mayank & Nupur aren't really at that level where they should be doing these kind of scenes. Emotional bonding hui nahin but they've jumped to the physical bonding.

But maybe we should wait for the actual episode though. It might not be too bad.

As far as DMG is concerned (although I don't know understand why its being discussed when this is a MJHT forum), it has had many passionate scenes with reason barring the Raat Ka Nasha/Chaliya sequences which I feel were not required. DMG is not 'that' kind of show thank you very much 😊
