ok manali

as i have always said gunjan just has to cry.....

she is the cry baby of mjht just like sheena is the laughing/hugging vamp

and rv the smooth criminal.....

the characters represent a certain trait, most of them are incapable of expressing a plethora of emotions.....

highly one dimensional.....

Arrey! Dont call our Sammy dumb.. Lol..Just kidding call him watever u want.. lolz.. But i dont think SG track is that bad.. I know it is cliche, cheezy and stuff. But i trust mohit and sanaya's chemistry.. When they are in a scene together.. you cant help but like.. As far as Sammy is concerned he is just a human being.. flawed like all of us. I know it is easier for us to say why cant he realize wid a flash of a lightning.. but he is human he procratinates.. just like all of us.. Just think about ur life..arent isnt their a thing or two that you keep on pushing away.. things you dont wanna face.. things you avoid doing.. it could be your homework.. chores or anything else.. That is what Sammy is doing.. And Sammy's situation is worse than us he is not only a teen ager but he is a lonely one with no family around.. Its very hard for him.. So i dont blame him for being human.. infact i like the fact that he flawed and imperfect like all of us..and der sawer like all of us he will also stop procrastinating and face his issues and problems..

@ Rinky..nice post..u know i am seriously tired of writing lengthy posts about the MJHT storyline, negative and dumb characters, loopholes, the so called comic relief and of course the romance..

Coming to the question of subtle emotions, I definitely dont see any emotions , forget the subtleness of it..Romance to them is just loooonggg stares, electric shocks when the hero touches the heroine, random hugs..

Somehow, unlike some people on this forum my brain is simply refusing to accept and enjoy the show was it is. To start with, why does RV loathe Samrat so much?? is it just because samrat is the popular dude of excel and he is not?? If only thats the reason,How could a mere 19 year old teenager scheme with so much vengence against his classmate?? why r they promoting date-rape and drunk n drive concepts when its supoosed to be an entertaining show with a normal college life story?? I would have heartily appreciated it if they had created awareness to teenagers through such issues but they have been addressed just for adding masala and dirty twists to the show..

And why has every character matured so early with Gunjan weeping in every episode as if the whole universe has weighed down all the problems on her, RV trying to kill samrat (which teenager even thinks about it unless he is a psychotic killer), Sheena with her pathetic mind games and emotional blackmail..

Its hopeless yaar..I promise to never write essays anymore :) i myself am yawning..

@bold: I totally agree.....😆😆....these kind of 'emotional' scenes are not his forte at all....Sanaya is very good but the crying is overdone a lot.

Anyways yaar.....I'm not watching the show anyways....it's too bakwaas now😆😆

Yaar if you're still watching the show and want some hope....don't worry....I'm sure Gunjan's happy smiling days are around the corner since Sheena is gone and Samrat's brain is working towards realizing and whatnot😆😆

I won't say anything about MN since they are a lost cause. they have been ruined and butchered.

As for SG, true, that the way they are presenting things now, it is melodramatic. Gunjan is being too much like BT heroine and less like a regular 'sensitive' teenager. I personally cannot see the needed chemistry between SG, but that is just my opinion.

However, when it comes to the realisation, SG track is developing constantly. The basic theme of SG track is not haphazard or superficial, like MN's. SG started off in a bad note. Gunjan wasn't much of a fan of Samrat, but Samrat built the bridge to their friendship. They were becoming really good friends when the revelation of Samrat's bet caused Gunjan to move away from Samrat. Yet again, Samrat took the initiative to be friends again. During the entire phone-friend course, Gunjan unknowingly became more and more dependent on Samrat. They got to know each other better cause they TALKED. Gunjan realised Samrat's importance in her life and that how much sorry he is, and they became friends again. This time, although shown in a bit rushed manner, Gunjan feel in love with Samrat. Unfortunately Samrat didn't feel the same way and Gunjan had a heartbreak. Repeatedly we saw Samrat doing OTT stuffs for Gunjan, these stuffs made her belief that he also likes her and made some of us (like me) go😕 since friends never do such OTT stuffs with friends. But all the while the bottom line was that Samrat was unknowingly in love with him but thought that this was only friendship, although all his romantic gestures begged to differ. Then Sheena came and left, making Samrat start to question his friendship with Gunjan. Now, through all those flashbacks, we were shown of Samrat's initial stages of realisation. He still cannot think of it as love, since he always claimed and thought of it as friendship. Yet he now cannot name it just as friendship, since he knows that what he feels for Gunjan is something he never felt for any of his other friends. this confusion of his is natural.

Sorry for writing so much, I got a bit carried away. Although SG are very platonic to me still, but their story makes sense to me, unlike the other couple's. Its developing slowly but at least it has proper emotions attached to it. Its not all about tying dori or lending shirts or cutting and pasting. Maybe the way the creatives are showing things isnt proper, and is not expected in a youth based show, but at least what they are trying to show is proper. Its not like MN's love story where along with the way of showing, the emotions were also wrong. It is better to have a couple cry and get a proper love story than have a happy couple with cheesiest possible lines and all, dont you think?

P.S....I totally agree with you on MN👏😆
