This is a random post since I feel like randomly reminiscing about what exactly made me fall in love with Mayank-Nupur to begin with.
So to start from the beginning.....the first proper meeting....vid courtesy Sarah.

I had watched the first episode and barring Mayank and to some extent Nupur, no one made much of an impression on me. The pace was really sluggish (as it continues to be😆)....and so leading into this scene, didn't have very high expectations...the entire bit with those random idiots chipkaoing that phatta behind Nupur was so lame🥱😆.....Anyways, so moving on to the part that matters.....MN have this big 'filmy' sort of first meet in that they bump into each other, N's dupatta flows over his face....they do the standard 'turning around to look at each other when the other's not looking' bit😆 and then walk off....
If Nupur hadn't been so harried about removing the phatta from her back, she might have paused to ponder over the filmy dreaminess of the entire thing and 'swoon' at the possibility of having found her 'sapno ka rajkumar'....random point to think about?😆.....What's interesting about this bit is that even though the entire setup was so filmy....breeze blowing, banging into each other, dupatta flying over guy's face etc. etc...it somehow managed to avoid most of the trappings of a typical 'first meet' since MN didn't even SEE each other😆....so there was NO staring etc. etc. like it usually happens😆.....N did a quick, 'sorry' while removing her dupatta and hurried off while M turned back to see what the heck just happened but by the time he turned, all he could see was a rapidly receding blur of a pataaka called Nupur with a phattaa on her back😆😆....so he looks in that direction for a bit and then shrugs his shoulder with a 'mehh whatever' look and walks off😆.....Nupur has a deja vu moment a few seconds after this and turns around for a second look but he's gone by then....😆
I guess what I loved about this entire bit WAS exactly that....that odd sort of 'normalcy' in the middle of all the filmyness😕😆....
Moving on to meeting of the day part two...LOL....the famed 'LOO' scene😆.....now creeps in the filmyness big time😆....N magically manages to trap herself inside one of the stalls🤣...and in the MEN'S LOO no less🤣....SUCH an N type thing to do😆....Mayank her 'knight in shining armor' rushes in to the rescue....some randomish blahh type of dialogues later, he finally manages to pull open the door and Nupur literally falls into his arms...tan tanaaa....and our hero heroine finally meet in the actual sense of the word😆😆.....Now I remember wondering briefly when I first watched this as to why exactly Nupur started crying on his shoulder right there instantly😆....but ahhhh...I guess we can chalk it up to a Nupur melodramatic moment😆....maybe she got really scared of being trapped inside and was crying with relief😆....So....Nupur continues to cry for a bit....literally all out sobbing while Mayank is all awkward....I'm guessing cuz a) that's probably the closest a girl ever got to him uptill that day😆😆 and b) girl in question is SOBBING like it's the end of the world😆....a LOT to deal with for a certified bookworm who's world revolves around books and Maa😆....Anyways, so N FINALLY stops crying and raises her head...and after this they finally get to have their first starefest😆....some more awkwardness....and then N seems to look around and realize once again that she's in the men's loo and so she rushes out in embarassment once again...leaving Mayank with a confused as to what the heck just happened here look on his face😆.
And then came part three of this first meeting epi.....the FIRST trip-catch routine😃😆....Dodo the great unknowingly trips Nupurji as she's walking into the class in a very unsure and lost sort of manner.....so she TRIPS, Mayank sees this and rushes forward in time to save our heroine for the SECOND time that day😆😆....I think this was the scene where I first truly enjoyed MN together.....not cuz of the 'romanticness' of the entire trip-catch-stare routine necessarily...but what happens AFTER it....M's taunt to her about 'girna number TWO'😆..."aur kitni baar girengi aap"😆....what makes this different is that M was not some typical 'casanova' types smirking at some chick always falling into his arms.....he GENUINELY found it amusing....he wasn't being cocky...just amused at her clumsiness😆😆...and N's all 'haww' that some guy's actually talking to her like this instead of fawning over the Morena Express like she's used to😆😆.....once again, MN made a VERY cliched scene, uncliched....and therein lay the magic....I remember being charmed and pulled in from that moment on.
After then ofcourse was the final bit when N finds out just WHO exactly IS Mayank Sharma😆😆.....Their subsequent expressions and the way M puts those cottonballs in his ears....resigning himself to his fate😆😆....but Mayank beta...that was just the beginning...of a full on roller-coaster ride😆.
Ahh I guess this has kinda dragged on....To those who may have managed to get through reading this....kudos to you!...LOL....Feel free to add your own observations/reminiscing thoughts about that first meeting.....I think this may be a continuing series...A way to live in the past when I enjoyed MN more😊....just my opinion...Mods can close this topic if they find it inappropriate.
