Zainab, I'm intrigued to see just how many ppl have hit the 'like' button on your post, yet hardly as many have responded :S LOL

You think that might have anything to do with the current 'fun' atmosphere in this forum where anyone who raises their voice in displeasure about the new promo is instantly knocked out of the way??? LOL

back to context, the time mayank was in vest, we atleast had something that resembled a track...and a normal MN
ab tou everything is haywire

edit
the vest episodes were the beach track, the barn track that we keep asking for over and over again..so let me tell u I am not taking a double stand

OMG Zeebo, what a jhakaas topic, as always.

I love the first point that you made. As always, all these Indian serials make it seem like everything is hunky dory and it distorts the entire perception of love. Like you said, it gives people unreasonable expectations about love.

The only thing I remember about college, besides slaving in front of my books and practically not having a life, was that relationships were hardly this black and white. Where are the ups and down of friendships/relationships? The pain? The suffering? There's no sweet without the sour. I guess in this sense, I probably enjoy SG's love story a bit more.

And I absolutely agree with MN's love being very superficial and one-dimensional, but it also fares well within a college environment. I wouldn't want to see 'Love is oxygen' type of love between two college students. People around that age mostly act on impulse.

You know what I'd love to see? MN falling in love, and later realizing that it was just infatuation. Crazy idea, I know...

Anyways, what more can I say, other than I absolutely concur with your entire post :)

I absolutely agree. I also wonder why people take a fictional show and its characters so seriously, to the point that they bash/attack whoever raises a voice against it. 😭😉

Zainab and the ramblers!

Hi,

I would like to disagree. I think MN are totally in context. You ARE going to be physically attracted to a sex god! DUH!! And what's wrong with Mayank shirtless. He has full right to show his hot bod and make us happy and drool! That's a VERY sensible and young storyline!

</Blind Fangirl>

WOW! *phew* THAT WAS HARD!!!!!

That's an intriguing possibility, Roxy....but the problem as always is the EXECUTION of things in this show.....when they have already ruined Mayank to the point of spouting crap like, 'main tumhaare pairon ko takleef nahin dena chahta tha'😕....SERIOUSLY, dude?😆......then how will it help even if they make things realistic by NOT making a 'love is oxygen' kind of story??
