Article on Samrat eats chillies!!!!!

Sometimes one does pity TV actors. Mohit Sehgal who plays Samrat on the show Miley Jab Hum Tum recently had to chomp on green chillies to lend authenticity to a scene. In the sequence, Samrat and Gunjan, played by Sanaya, enter a contest which requires couples to eat green chillies. According the rule, if one contestant backed out, his/her partner would have to eat double their quota. The scene required Gunjan to back out, so Samrat ended up eating 10 chillies instead of five. But real life is not so easy, and because of retakes, Mohit ended up eating 20 green chillies. The fact that he did so without complaining shows his commitment to his work. Had it been us, we would definitely have revolted.
