It's the day of the talent parade and Diya is expecting that Samrat is going to propose to her, thinking of it as the surprise Uday had spoken about. Uday is scared and stupefied. Mayank is furious with Nupur for having lied to her about the project and is adamant on not going on to the stage for their salsa performance. As the curtains are about to be drawn open, Nupur finds herself standing alone in the midst of other couples on the stage.
