About being detached from society - I don't think he is so detached like to the point of social isolation, he is reserved yes but not completely unapproachable... Like for example in the last episode, he was shown happily helping a girl with some homework before Nupur came in, he also talks to CJ it seems, and is generally helpful... Just that most of the college do blindly follow Dia... as witnessed by their pranks on Gunjan and Nupur!!! So really, its not so infathomable that he doesn't find many people he can relate to in the college... I think Gunjan has potential to be one of those though....
