Shikhar could not handle it more , he could not believe that he was joining them in this suicide mission , where his partner 's life will be destroyed right in front of him . He could not do anything even if he wanted , because RV had made him swear on their partnership.
There was one question which was bugging Shikhar since Arjun had told them about the plan .
" Sir , why did you ask me to come ? Would it not been better to not tell me ?" Shikhar asked , and Arjun and Ranveer both smiled . Arjun was about to answer, but Ranveer stopped him:
" I will answer that , because sir wanted someone to knew my true and to tell the others would not be an option and by telling you it could also help. Look, if my partner starts believing that I am able to become corrupt and an murder because of my demons than so can other's " Ranveer answered , giving his partner a small and painful smile.
" Why your Ranveer ?" asked Shikhar , he could not understand how the most loyal , kind and honest person he have ever met could destroy himself like this without giving a second thought.
" Because the gang members would go after Disha and Ishani to take revenge on Harshad uncle, and since they shared the same cell as my father they share some kind of connection with me. I will go undercover , say that I will betray Harshad and the police and help them with there revenge if they help me get to my father. They will get there revenge by helping me cause if there is someone Harshad love as his child , then it is me . They will get there revenge and I will get my co called revenge " Ranveer answered , explaining to himself.
" And you think they will believe a cop , that cop who is like son to Harshad Parekh " asked Shikhar worried. Ranveer looked worried for a second and if there had been someone else they would probably not have noticed it but Shikhar saw it .
" If they don't , they will kill me on the spot." Ranveer answered , and it scared Shikhar to know he is not afraid to die .
" Are you not afraid ?" asked Shikhar and saw that Ranveer smiled a very tired smile.
" To die ?" Ranveer asked , even if he knew what his friend was asking him , he saw that Shikhar nodded because he was not able to utter those words.
" I am not afraid to die , if that mean 's protecting my family " Ranveer answered determined , before he added :
" Whatever happens to me , you have to promise me that you will look after my family . In case you don't know , you have my blessing regarding your feelings to Disha " Ranveer said with a sly smile and Shihar 's face turned from concern to becoming shy.
" What do you mean ?" asked Shikhar . Pretending he had no idea what Ranveer was talking about.
" I know you both grew close when I was undercover " Ranveer answered , before he asked :
" When are you planning to tell her ?" Ranveer asked him curious, but Shikhar sighed :
" Not my first priorarty , first we have to make this plan work " he answered and Ranveer smiled , giving Shikhar a small hug as a sign for gratitude that his partner were with him.
" Mr. Mehra and Mr. Vaghela how do we convince your father to help us " Arjun asked the young detectives and Ranveer looked at Shikhar who nodded at him before he then looked at Arjun and said :
" Leave that to me , you guys arrange for anything else . It is time me and my father has a much needed conversation " Ranveer said , surprisingly not worried to meet his father , maybe because he knew there were much worse things coming up for him.
