yeh its a nice thought but I think even if they did keep him positive 4 now it wouldn't be long before they'd turn him negative... I've seen it happen in so many shows that I knew it wouldn't be long before chirag was revealed 2 be a negative character.

Well, that's suprising. Though, I'm well aware of the hatred characters get from the fans. For Chirag, as I have said already, I couldn't judge him for I didn't watch the episodes where he set out to impress Ish. His entry scene is alien to me. Yesterday's episode was a comfort to me. Even Disha seemed bearable. Chirag was good. The actor's doing a good job, but his character would have worked in positive. But it's the extra sensitive "fans" who don't bother to think differently. No offence meant.

True, my interest and story lasted only as long as Chirag was positive. But with Chirag turning negative, the show is no different from countless other shows in this genre. And it no longer justifies its theme of selfless sacrificial love too( I am not demeaning Ranvir here, a special note for his fans)

I think they did that becos if they kept chirag positive, that would mean there would be a group of fans that would have wanted chirag-ishaani 2geva...fans would have been split between the 2 couples, and in the end only 1 couple will last...ishaani cant b with both of them, and if they kept chirag positive then some fans may have threatened to quit the show if their fav couple didn't get 2geva, so they risk losing viewers that way. so with having chirag negative their intention is to kinda make chirag-ishaani fans NOW turn into IshVeer supporters and NOT want chirag-ishaani 2 get 2geva...which works well for them becos they want ishveer 2 ultimately be together- I hope I haven't confused u. in simple words CVs always think that they need to turn the 3rd angle evil to make the story work😕
a good example of that movie u used, but the comparison with the show is a little difficult, becos u see with dramas, fans take it to another level...like they'll start petitions, bashing the channel etc. if they fav couple is going through separation track but with movies, u just watch it n don't think much of it once u leave the theatres.
2bh, I always found it hard to believe that chirag's love for ishaani was genuine...I always had this gut feeling it was fake and jus an attempt to hide his real thoughts/intentions which have obv been revealed now! it was typical 4 him 2 become negative...

And that is one reason why I wanted Chirag to be positive, so the viewers could themselves choose which couple to ship, which character to like instead of makers imposing it on the viewer by making one character completely negative. This is the concept followed in many English shows. I was hoping for same here

I, for characters' sakes, don't want to jump on any conclusion. But I agree that it doesn't justify the sacrificial theme, with which the show had started. Look at my previous posts, most of them are dealing with the same disappointment. But, I'll watch it as long as Ranveer's character isn't spoiled.

It is the concept followed in many shows, I think one of them is Vampire Diaries. But didn't she say the fans act like jerks? No wonder after loosing a Cricket Match Indians go too sensitive that they'll even die for this reason. But, at one thing you're right. They could make it like them, and something different might have happened. An experiment could cost them their show, but it would have been a different programme. Everyone is taking risks, and focusing on other things than just LOVE would have been a good idea- like Ranveer being a big man, being successful, and other stuff regarding Ishaani and her family would have been amazing. Chirag and Ishaani could marry happily. Ranveer's sacrifice would have been worthwhile. There's so much.

As here people know I wanted Chirag to continue as a positive character, but they decided to turn him into a villain. I gave my reason why I felt it's a big disappointment for the story as well. Chirag's positivity was giving the story positivity as well. He is negative, and that is affecting Ranveer's character arc too. Initially Ranveer's love and sacrifice seemed valid and real, and now it all seems a betrayal as if the show makers chose to steal his right from him. It would have been absolutely fine if the story hadn't gotten its HAPPY ENDING. I'm neither obsessed with happy nor with sad endings. It's just at times sad ending serves better than a happy ending. Now they are showing Ranveer like a fool (or so it seems to me). Chirag is being shown in rather a vulgar way. Something that, I probably, would detest with. Disha is acting like she can't get anyone better than Ranveer and chasing him everywhere etc. I feel whatever has been predicted here by other fans is true. Initially, Chirag being a positive person gave me the feel of KHNH or Mujhse Dosti Karoge? where the third people are positive. And that's what made me love those two stories. I'm sorry, if I offended someone, but I am HIGHLY disappointed with today's precap.

agree with u dear i don't understand why cvcs want to make chirag -ve for ranveer?? 😡 i feel chirag and ishani look good together 😳 ranveer looks good with disha i feel its just my opinion sorry ishveer fans
