He liked her because of her outspoken personality, but there is something more. I think he wants to marry her to keep her mouth shut so that she doesn't dare to talk back infont of him again.

This is just my prediction. Let's see what happens.

I agree wit u on dat.I tink he is marrying ha cuz he lyks her cuz she is nt lyk a pink doll girl dat he kn kntrl anyaw. Well u knt predict sum1 tut. evn if he is marryin 4 revenge I trust Ishaani, she wil b dier to face him cuz she wil nt just b looking @ him taking her 4 granted. B4 I tut he really lyks her bt 2dae's episode gave me a doubt cuz wen u c his face while he ws talking to Ranveer, dat xpression ws nt dier. d xpresion to show he his really angry lyk d party wen Ishaani insulted him. In his face u wudnt find love dier, well mayb it's bcuz I knt read ppl xpresion well bt to me I don't tink he really loves Ishaani

I think its revenge...although it does not make much sense why to marry just for revenge but for Chirag life is play in which he dont want to lose at any cost. He felt bad as first time someone insulted him and that also again and again. It was never shown that he was dreaming or even thinking about Ishani in that sense...

In my opinion, he genuinely likes her.

Firstly because of her looks.

And secondly, and more importantly, because of the fire in her.
Chiraag seems that kind of guy, I guess, who would like fiery girls. And not those pink baby doll type girls.

And revenge would seem very far fetched.
Matlab ek insult ke revenge ke liye he'll marry her? Surely there are more simple ways to take revenge, which don't involve marriages.
Unless he's a lunatic, he won't marry for a mere revenge.

To me Chirag definatley likes her. I mean i totally agree with you on how he like her because of the fire in her but to all those people saying revenge here is my question to you (DON'T TAKE TO OFFENSE) if Chirag really wanted to take revenge on Ishani why waste his life when he can just tell the world that she is a illegimate child? Also Chirag seems like a honest guy who won't mess with anyones feeling. Lastly it might just be me but when Ishani comes into the room his eyes lights up and he just cant take his eyes off of her, also she doesn't attract him because of her beauty but she attracts hims by showing how beautiful she is inside out and that is why he keeps telling the world that he doesnt care about her past he just wants to be in her present and her future.

If you all notice how his parents are behaving. it seems like bussiness has not be good for them and they need an up left. Marrying a girl from that family will help them...and knowing chirag he wants to aim at the fathers heart.
at first he thought since Disha is the real daughter she would be the daddy's favorite so he agreed to marry her even though she seemed dumb to him...
but then he twisted the whole thing when they came to the house because he sees the way the dad behaves for Ishaani...he knows the daddy heart is Ishaani not Disha .

i notice that when his daddy said " what are you doing? Disha is the real daughter" and Chirag answered "i know what am doing. Disha may be his real daughter, but Ishaani is the father's heart"
