Hi friends. Thanks for your comments and support. Here is the fifth part.

PART 5

After completing the of marriage rituals, the newly wed were seated in the room alone by their friends intentionally. As soon as they went, there was an awkward silence prevailing in the room. Ishaani was sitting in lost thoughts holding her long mangalsutra.

**Flashback**Ishaani's home

Ishaani entered her room talking to her school friends on phone.

"Nahi yaar. I think I won't be able to come. I will try next week. Ok. Bye. Will text you later"

"Just now entered the home. But already on the phone. Why dear? Give some rest to your eyes and ears. Always tv and mobile. Kya karoon is bachi ke saath?"

"I have hung the call long back mom. What can I do if Kavya called? You know very well that she is my best friend", defended Ishaani.

Falguni- "I know very well that no one can't win arguing with you. Now fresh up soon. Kailash bhai will come soon"

Ishaani- "Kya!! Kailash uncle? Couldn't you inform me soon. I will be ready within 5 minutes". Saying this, she ran towards her room. Falguni laughed seeing Ishaani's affection towards Kailash.

After sometime, Ishaani was pacing in the hall restlessly. Her eyes were fixed to the entrance and was constantly checking the watch. "Why is he not here yet?"

At that time, a car slowed down near the entrance. She ran like a child who is looking for a candy to the entrance. But, to her disappointment, she saw her dad walking towards her.

"Aap?!", exclaimed Ishaani.

"Haan...! Yeh toh mera hi ghar hai. If I didn't come here, where will I go?" asked a confused Harshad.

Ishaani- "Nahi baba. Maa ne kaha ki Kailash uncle aayegi. I was expecting him"

Harshad- "Oh! So, that is the reason my daughter was not happy seeing me?" Harshad made a sad face. "Chalo. Koi baath nahi hai. Your uncle is on the way. Will reach here soon".

As soon as he said the last words, he could see Ishaani's face lighten up. She then went to make some tea on her dad's sweet request.

Just within few minutes, she could hear her parents greeting someone. It didn't take long to recognise that her uncle has arrived. She thought of going there, but then thought she will take some tea for them too.

While she was walking towards the hall, she heard Hatshad's voice. " I haven't told Ishu yet. Let her find out herself. By the way, Ranveer beta, How was your first day? Have you met Ishaani and talked to her?"

"I haven't met her I think uncle. Anyway we are going to meet here n" came another voice.

Ishaani went and welcomed everyone. Soon she met with the one who was the owner of the voice. "He/ She is the same one whom I met in college today. What the hell is he/she doing here?"

Ishaani(in mind)- Agar uncle ne new driver appoint kar li?

Ranveer(in mind)- Yeh is ghar mein kaam karthi hai kya?

Sensing that Ishaani and Ranveer are confused seeing each other, Falguni spoke," Ranveer beta, meet my daughter, Ishaani"

Shagun- "Aur Ishaani, yeh hai mera beta Ranveer"

"Oh no! Not again" both thought in mind.

"Why are you standing there dear? Come and serve the snacks for them" said Harshad.

Ishaani nodded her head and served for all and came to Ranveer at last. When Ranveer was about to take his cup, it slipped and the coffee stained his shirt. Ishaani was suppressing her smile seeing his reactions.

"Oh shit!" he yelled seeing his shirt. He was about to give her a peace of mind. But, as soon as he noted a grin on her face, an idea came up on his mind.

"Ishaani, why can't you be little careful? Beta, we are very sorry. Please clean your stain before it dries. As it was you who spoiled his shirt, help him" saying this, Harshad pushed Ishaani with Ranveer.

Ranveer gave a smirk seeing that the situation is in favour of him now."Just watch Ishaani. What happens when you mess with Ranveer Waghela"

**Present**

Ishaani's thoughts came to halt by the ringing of a mobile. She saw that the groom took his mobile and went to talk with someone. "He and his stupid mobile", she cursed in her mind.

Tomatoes and slippers welcome. A big twist is waiting in the next episode...😉

PART 6

In a room, Harshad and Falguni were sitting accompanied by Kailash and Shagun. All of the four had a worried expression on their face. It was Falguni who initiated the conversation as the silence was unbearable.

Falguni - Do you all think that Ishaani will accept it?

Harshad - She have to, Falguni. May be, first she may feel bad. But, when we make her understand the situation, she surely will.

Shagun - Ya. I know about her. She will surely understand at what circumstances we took the decision.

**Flashback** Before the wedding**

In the downstairs, the time for the groom to arrive was passing. But, there was no sign of the baaraat. Harshad was so tensed and tried to contact the sambandhis. But, to his bad luck, there was no one to pick up. After numerous calls, someone picked up. Knowing who is talking, they shared the news which made Harshad worried more. He was fret to the core and shared his worry with Falguni who was worried to. Of course they will be. It was a matter of their honour and moreover, about their daughter's life.

Sensing some tension, Shagun came near Falguni and asked about it taking her to an isolated place. As soon as Shagun asked, Falguni collapsed crying.

Falguni- Meri beti... Now my daughter's life is in stake. What will we do? Groom's family hasn't reached yet and when contacted, they say that the groom is missing. He went sometime before the baaraat to see his friend who met with the accident and never returned. Now, what to do dear?

Shagun- Shaanth ho jao Falguni. Kuch nahi hoga. They will return soon.

Falguni- No dear. They didn't tell anything confirmed. That's why I am worried so much.

Shagun- We will wait for some time, for half an hour and then we will decide. We can't run into conclusions.

Falguni- Ya. I think you are right. What if they turn up?

"In that case, I know what to do", said a determined Shagun.

The four of them waited for some time for any news from the groom's side. There was no sign of any. So, Shagun seeked the hand of Ishaani for Ranveer. Both Harshad and Falguni were shocked.

Shagun- I know it will be difficult for you to accept this. But, it will be a good decision.

Harshad- Nahi Shagun. We can't place out burden on your shoulders. We can handle this.

Kailash- Arrey Harshad! Despite of being friends forever, you are speaking like this. Shagun consulted to me about this decision. I am completely ok with it. In fact, she always wanted Ishaani to be her daughter-in-law.

Shagun- Yes bhai. I always thought about it. But, I thought of giving some time and this much had happened. Please agree to this relation.

After so much of nagging from Kailash and Shagun, both agreed for the marriage. Soon, they got Ranveer's content too. Understanding the circumstance, Ranveer instantly agreed.

**Present**

Kailash - Whatever happened has no fault of ours. But, instead of talking about the past, we have to talk to Ishaani about this.

Falguni- Yes. I think we have to convey about this to Ishaani before she finds out.

Just then, they heard a knock on the door and on opening, they saw Ranveer standing in bridal dress with a worried face.

Falguni- Ranveer beta, Please come in. Kya hua? You look worried. Is everything alright?

Ranveer- Haan Aunty. Sab teek hai. Baba, just now I got a call from our manager. There is a problem in our company in Delhi. I have to be there as soon as possible.

Kailash- But beta, your wedding happened just some hours before and how can you go now? There are some rituals to be completed yet. I will go to check the problem. You stay here.

Ranveer- No baba. I am in charge of that branch. So, it's me who has to go. I promise that I will return back within two or three days.

Harshad- But Ranveer, the problem is not that you are going out of town. It is about Ishaani. She still doesn't know that her marriage happened with you. It will be good if you are with her when we say the truth to her.

Ranveer- I understand uncle. But, I am in a situation not to stay here now. Let's deliver the truth to her after my return.

Although not willing, they agreed to Ranveer's decision as he promised that he will return within night. Not knowing what is going to happen in his absence, Ranveer left to Delhi.

PART 7

It has been about an hour after Ranveer left. Falguni and Harshad could not hold themselves from telling Ishaani about her marriage. They thought of saying to her and now are standing in front of her room.

Ishaani was lost in her own thoughts in her room. She was thinking how her life turned within a matter of few days. I never thought this will happen', she felt. Just then, her eyes went towards a shelf and soon her legs followed. She opened her shelf slowly and took a portrait containing a group of four friends standing closely with very much proximity. She can still recall the day they took those pictures.

**FLASHBACK**

"Hey Ishaani. What are you doing here? The two are waiting over there only for you. Come let's go"

"Ranveer, You are so boring. Just see the view here. Isn't it wonderful?"

"Haan Haan. Wonderful toh hai. But, tumse achi toh..."

"Ohho... Phir se... Can't you just stop mocking me? You want a chance to start on"

"Now just come with me. We have to start earlier to reach home on time"

"As you said, Mr. Grandpa." Ishaani laughed and ran whereas Ranveer chased her like two kids playing.

**FLASHBACK ENDS**

Ishaani laughed recalling her sweet moments with Ranveer. Suddenly her eyes fell on the mirror and then on her forehead. Her parting was adorned with sindoor. "Oh no Ishaani. What are you doing? You are thinking of him despite of being someone's wife. You have to get rid of his thoughts as soon as possible" thinking that, she was about to tear the photograph, but her heart and mind were not willing to do so.

When she was thinking of what to do next, her parents entered the room calling her name. Quickly she placed the picture inside and wiped her tears putting a smile on her face and moved towards the bed and sat there. They walked towards her slowly and sat near her.

Harshad- Ishaani, we have to talk to you about one important thing.

Ishaani- Yes baba. You can say the matter.

Harshad- Ishaani... Just then his mobile rang and he got up to answer that.

Person- Hello, Harshad. We are Rahul's relatives. We called you to inform that...

Harshad- What? How and when could that happen? Ok. We will be there soon.

Falguni and Ishaani were watching him. After ending the call, Harshad signalled Falguni to come outside. They left the room leaving a confused Ishaani behind.

Outside, Harshad told Falguni about the phone call he received.

Harshad -Falguni, Rahul's relatives just called me and informed me that...

Falguni - Informed you what Harshad?

Harshad- That Rahul met with an accident and died on the spot.

Falguni - What? She was confused and shocked to the core.

Falguni was about to say something and suddenly stopped seeing Ishaani at the doorstep. Has she heard everything?'

There were tears priming on Ishaani's eyes which made evident that she had heard everything.

Before Falguni could say anything, she could only see a figure falling down unconscious. "Ishaani..." she screamed and ran towards her dear daughter followed by a concerned Harshad.
