Yup, today's episode did it- nail in coffin, done deal---- I cannot stand the sight of this woman. With all the sad music and streams of tears, MY eyes were rolling so far into the back of my skull I think I gave myself a brain hernia. What. The. F*ck. What HAPPENED to her??? LMAO! She's gone from the sweet housewife we all thought couldn't hurt a fly a month ago to someone who is categorically worse than Shanti!! I think I actually LIKE Shanti and Sarla now- what the hell just happened?? LOL! At least they look out for their kids- yeah theyre evil and psycho about it- but hey, if I was given a choice to be NICEY NICEY and my kids suffer or be a psycho mega b*tch but look out for my kids, then eerrr Im choosing the latter- ANY DAY. Your children are your children- GOD! They are an extension of you, part of your heart and soul- I DON'T EVEN HAVE KIDS YET AND I KNOW THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm still reeling over the sheer hypocrisy of this woman. So- let me get this straight because she basically said one thing to Shivam and then said the COMPLETE OPPOSITE to Raghav. She was (apparently) soul destroyed (bit much if you ask me) that her son opened his mouth and stood up for his wife- then she calls him disgusting- THEN she tells everyone how PROUD she is that her husband has not once stood by her and always supported his own mum against her. SHE SAID SHE WAS PROUD OF THAT. Im sure I didn't imagine that bit. Then she goes off in a dramatic huff as if someone just died, wails like a banshee in a locked room and makes a big UNECCESARY scene on a happy occasion. Then Raghav comes in (guns a-blazing as per usual) and what does she do? WHAT DOES SHE DO PEOPLE???! She starts wailing and crying harder (I thought her head was going to explode at this point given her reaction to such a stupid minor incident- no one even got hurt, ammaji was hopping about two seconds later) and she ACCUSES her husband (whom she LITERALLY just proclaimed to be so very proud of) for never ever in their 20 odd years of marriage supporting her. RIGHT. OK THEN. Are you confused dear??? Are you proud of your husband or upset with him?? These two things are not mutually exclusive- you either love that he always supports his mother or you're either heartbroken that he never supports you. Cant have it both ways. You guys... Seriously, do you think the writers of this show are maybe confused? None of this is logical- its not following any pattern. In one episode she's a mouse and in the next she's bonkers. There's no gradual build up of anything- it's like they've portrayed her with some kind of split personality ????
I told you guys- I predicted this would happen- that Khusiya will be the cause of S and R arguing (as we saw in the prequel to next episode), Khusiya will be the cause of misunderstandings between herself and R, and she'll be the cause of mayhem in that house. SHANTI IS JUST BEING THE BAD GUY- the show would be boring without a bad guy. KHUSIYA is the person who is making this program torture to watch because she is not a consistent person- her character flits from trailing around after her MIL and husband at the cost of her kid's happiness to going psycho mum on her new DIL to standing there twiddling her thumbs like a retarded bobble-head even as she is obviously and clearly being insulted - so much so that even a goat would get the sarcasm and insults aimed at her. She's not consistent!!! Shanti is a b*tch- we get it, we expect it, we revel in the fact that we know what to expect from her- there's a clear pattern evolving. Same for Sarla. Even Raghav (yes he's a dipsh*t, but he doesn't flit from one opposite personality to another). Everyone was saying oh poor Khusiya doesn't have a voice, she's been groomed to be meek and get trampled on'- hey even I did at first!! But look-see everybody! She practically ripped Riya to shreds like an uncivilised imbecile infront of the whole village to witness. BUT when her son speaks up to her she is appalled that he did it infront of everyone. Apparently she's learnt (practically overnight might I say) from the best. It seems its ok for elders to humiliate other people so long as those people are younger than them (cuz hey- maybe young people aren't people at all!!) but its REALLY not ok for younger people to humiliate elder people. Are we seeing ShantiDevi No2 per chance??? Me thinks so. Lost all respect for her. Her real qualities are coming to the fore. She is not evil- she is selfish. You can be selfish in a way that empowers you and feeds your self-respect and dignity no matter what others say (for e.g standing up to people like Raghav and Shanti). And you can be selfish in a way that is twisted- you can be selfish in such a way that you don't believe you can feel happy in yourself unless you are pleasing others. She is SELFISH in her need to be accepted by her MIL and husband NO MATTER WHAT. She does not feel good in herself unless she does what they tell her to. If she doesn't do as they say- she feels crap about herself. And she is selfish enough that she would rather feel good in herself and allow her children to suffer- NO QUESTIONS ASKED. This is "one of" the worst examples of a mother you'll find. Yes there are women who physically beat up and torture their children- well you know what? At least those kids know what the hell to expect- no fu*king mind games. A woman like this leads everyone to believe (purposefully OR not, it doesn't make a difference in the end because the effect is the same) that she is gentle and innocent and unable to stand up for herself. We saw first hand the psycho b*tch in her today and who did she aim it at?? The one person who couldn't speak back to her. All her children speak back to her, stand up for her- they all speak to her freely. Isnt it interesting that she aimed her first outburst at Riya? Isnt it interesting that she managed to say - "no don't' stop me" - to Shanti? Where did that courage come from huh? She has it- she has a voice, she has balls and she is capable of getting angry. She just chooses to use it when she isn't getting threatened by the person she is aiming it at. Funny how she doesn't stand up to Shanti and Sarla and Raghav LIKE THAT every single time they have insulted, hurt and threatened her children in the past.
As for the sari thing- how embarrassing that was to watch- that someone has lost their way so badly, has blindly followed another's guidance in such a worshipping manner that she has embarrassed herself by taking someone else's clothes without permission. Yuk! Hope in upcoming episodes someone says the same to her just as she did with Shivam infront of the whole household- that it was disgusting. Honestly, I'm rooting for Sarla to insult her a bit more now. I'm fedup of her- I don't understand why some people could think that she is just misunderstood or she's a good person really. She is pleasing HERSELF by doting on her MIL. It's as simple as that. She has shown that she can speak up to her MIL in this episode- where was that "strength" when she was SUPPOSED to use it??
God- her character is too unrealistic and haphazard.
As for the outburst of Shivam on Riya at the end- well he's obviously stuck between a rock and a hard place, I get that- but the way he blew up at Riya is a no no. Grow up Shivam, you're not twelve and you're not your dad. So rude to point fingers at anyone like that let alone your new wife. Ugh. Riya has a bloody right to defend herself just like Nimmi said to her mum that she wouldn't be wronged. Ive said already- Khusiya stood idly by while Shanti arranged to wed her girls off to a bunch of freaks. Is that innocent to you? Is that motherly? Is it protective? And yet all of a sudden- for a temporary slip on the stairs- she flips out at Riya? I mean- what? Do wives across the entire planet earth who don't fast for their husbands not love their husbands? I mean Im surprised there isn't a massive shortage of men as we'd all be cursing them to their deaths because we ate something. Please- there's innocence and then utter stupidity to the point where it actually turns cruel. People can be SO stupid that they do cruel things- and its really hard to look past that and say aww she's just innocent'. Its not an excuse.
