Yes u are correct and Krishnajanamastami is being celebrated on 1st Sept Wednesday keeping in mind the tithi and nakshatra at midnight. the time of Krishnas birth

Wednesday night is the birthday of Krishna and next day on thursday will be Dahi Handi utsav..Gokulashtami...one can fast on thursday...and anyways there is no harm in celebrating both the days..after all for KANHAA jee...we can do anything and everything...hai naa..😃😃
