There is nothing to confused about hindu4lyf...Shri krishna was born on Ashtami tithi and Rohini star..so they both fall on wednesday and thursday will be Gokulashtami, the celebration of Krishna's birth and normally in India they break makhan handi...

I have made it clear 1st is for Smarth and 2nd sep for Vaishnavs...😊😊Some parts in India are celebrating 1st and some on 2nd...so follow where you reside...
